Though it seems he mostly stays for free food, a roof over his head and cool stories about the hundreds of years that he's been alive, he does basic chores like laundry or dishwashing. Honestly Alfie just started following Demeter around asking for money to take a girl out on a date (which was a lie because he's super homeless lol) and when Demeter gave him the money Alfie just stuck around and annoyed him until they became buds.

Zevi is friends with Adelaide and has been for some time. As he is rather laid-back and rarely in a hurry her more energetic personality complements his well. When it is only the two of them and Adelaide feels comfortable and loses her usual elegant mask she is one of the few that can make Zevi laugh. He doesn't maintain many friends, with Adelaide being the notable exception, so he invests a great deal of energy into their friendship. When they are in public and Adelaide reverts to being stiff and poised Zevi does not challenge her; rather he goes along with the change and sits up in trees with her and listens to birds.

Zevi is not at all eloquent and when he's particularly passionate about a topic he will sometimes stumble over his words but Adelaide has been helping him overcome this. She practices speaking with him and urges him to talk slower when he's excited so that he can carefully choose his words. Zevi is somewhat self-conscious of this and so he rarely talks on those things that mean a lot of him so he won't stutter, but Adelaide has never made fun of him before.

Ever since then, they've spent their days relaxing in the forest or riding the waves on Dom's pirate ship, sharing secrets and playing pranks on each other.

kole watches fiera from a distance, mostly envying her relationships. he always wanted a very loving mate and kits. he knows how his friend's family is, and knows a majority don't like him besides fawn and bambi. kole finds it hard to get along with the kits, so he keeps his distance. fiera and kole have been friends since she found him on the streets after a night of drinking and took him home, letting him recover from his bad night there. they had been friends since, and fiera was always there for kole. kole was terrible, not finding or making time for his friend, and recently, he had been ignoring her and giving fiera the cold shoulder, though he's very depressed about it now. he regrets not being there, and he's drinking to forget again.

it all started at a chain donut shop. kim applied for a temporary summer job, and frankie happened to be recruited at the same time as she was. at the beginning, he seemed okay. he talked with her and appeared genuinely interested in working and becoming friends. he was also quite the flirt with everybody... including the customers. despite being cocky at times, he was fun to have around.

eventually, though, he stopped pulling his weight and slacked off, leaving poor kim to do everything.

after dealing with this for a while, she decided to ask him about what happened, and why he wasn't doing anything now. he got mad, but came back the next day and apologized, then told her his situation. he had been struggling financially for a while, and right around the time his work ethic went down, he lost his apartment. since then, he had been homeless and hopping houses from friend to friend. immediately, she offered(or, uh.. forced) to have him stay at her house. it's been a few weeks since frankie moved in, and with the help of kim's "friendly" talks, he's finally doing his work.
