Personality: The first thing you'll notice about Hermione is her intelligence; she knows just about everything about anything (and even if she doesn't know, she'll research it). She's got the sharpest wits around and she knows it, and although she isn't too arrogant, she tends to be bossy unintentionally. Her heart is always in the right place, but sometimes it can come off wrong when all she wants is to make sure that those close to her are doing things in the most effective and efficient way and staying out of danger while doing so, as she is overly cautious. Her cautiousness isn't without reason though - she often finds herself dragged into crazy situations with her friends. In these situations, she speaks as the logical, level-headed voice of reason, usually successful in aiding her allies in averting whatever the problem may be. If she knows that she is right, she will not back down from standing up for what she believes in, no matter how difficult the circumstances may be. She is knowledgeable when it comes to both book-smarts and life-smarts, and is someone that you can always rely on in times of need.

Dear diary,
Today was quite the series of events. I was lead on to a trailer and told I was destined to spend the next years of my lide at one of the top barns in the country - I was hoping that they'd finally notice my wit and desire to learn more. I thought things would get interesting only after we had arrived at the place, but little did I know it would all begin from the moment I stepped on to that huge, shining trailer. Let me tell you about he most fascinating turn of events - I met the Potter! That's why I thought it would be important to remember today's events, actually. It had all started when I was trying to help this colt named Neville find out more information about the barn he was headed to. I wasn't having much luck, but at a stop, our positions were rearranged and I was put next to two colts who were standing side by side, speaking among each other, one of which was claiming to know about the stops on the journey. Since I'd spent some time listening to the humans speak about where we were headed, I asked him to tell me more about one of the barns he had spoken about. He made up a quick story (as I'd expected - nothing even close to the truth). Seeing the other boy watching as I corrected him, I went on to explain the barn, as they though that was where they were headed too. I think it impressed them both, since nobody else seemed to know too much about our destinations. Anyways, when the other colt looked up, I saw the broken blaze and scar just above they eye that defined him as Potter, son of two much acclaimed, world-famous jumpers! He was definitely destined for amazing achievements too. His friend identified himself as Ron. I hadn't heard about him before, to be completely honest. Maybe this could be the start of a new friendship - who knows?!

Hermione is quite a knowledgeable tolter. To her, the answers to anything can be found in three places; books, your mind, and your heart. Sometimes her knowledge can come out as quite bossy, but her heart is always in the right place. She is the brains of the golden trio, and know this very well! Without her extensive knowledge of almost everything, Ron and Harry wouldn't have been able to get very far in their escapades. Organization and being well efficient in school is very important to Hermione. You can just imagine how odd it felt for her to disobey the rules when she had her crazy adventures with Ron and Harry! Despite being so strict about her "goody-goody" routine, she does break a few rules on rare occasions.
