Small paws shuffled against the cold wooden floor of the small shed, his jaw chattering as he pushed the door shut behind him. Orion sighed, his breath drifting upwards in frosty rings, and he took a moment to adjust to the low light, squinting and blinking. He lifted his head up towards a steam stream of smoke that streamed upwards from a candle.
Strange.. The wind must have blown it out...
He knew that he couldn't afford to stay here much longer - but he was afraid to face the winter storm again. Orion drew in a deep breath and turned on his heels, before noticing a glimmer in the corner of his eye, and he stopped with an unsteady wobble. He stiffly walked over to the old table to inspect the lump of fabric. Orion nudged it cautiously, from what he could make out, it was a paw? On further inspection, he gathered it was some kind of scarf. Not just that, but underneath was a satchel, both would come in handy. Someone must have forgotten about them. Orion threw the scarf around his neck, picked up the satchel and pulled open the door, continuing his trek into the storm.

The pouch -- Used to carry various items such as any potions, or any trinkets which need delivering. He works as a courier in a very snowy village and takes things from one intensely snowy village to the other almost every day, and so he needs to carry his parcels in something!
The paw -- The paw is used as a mitten, he used to have another one but he lost it while he was out in the snow on his way from town to town on his duty. He handmade them out of hide and fur from a bear's pelt.

Despite his wintery vibe, Owlen actually holds a passionate hatred for winter; it’s always such a miserable time for him. For starters, he has a severe cold intolerance. The slightest little breeze will chill him to the bone, leaving Owlen shivering and shaking for hours. Everyone called him Drama Queen when he was a child (Unfortunately for him, that nickname still stands to this day), and as a joke, his grandmother made him a polar bear scarf. She made it three times taller than he was; claiming it would keep him and his brobdingnagian imagination warm. Though he was upset about the meaning behind the gift, he quickly fell in love with it and wore it always.
Owlen has since added to his winter arsenal over the years, including an over the shoulder pouch stocked with hand warmers, mittens, a small tin with hot chocolate, and a pocket picture of his grandmother.
If the cold wasn’t bad enough, all the nicknames would reemerge around wintertime. Jack Frost, St. Bernard Rescue Dog, and the good old classic Drama Queen. But all that was nothing, Owlen could put up with all that and still love winter if it hadn’t taken his grandmother.
