Naturally all the residents, animals, plumerain, and human alike, who live there occasionally need help with the many illnesses caught when in the freezing cold. He's also the small city's rescue-man, a sort of unofficial paramedic. He uses his bags to carry around herbs for quick rounds about the area.

The scarf has a much longer history. For he used to have a very old scarf. He is not one who is at all fashionable, and will use things to their very last, only ridding of them when they are completely useless. So it was he had his ugly, tattered scarf, and would not bother for a new one, as it was warm enough. However, during a snowstorm in the region one day, he risked his life to go out and rescue an old man, who had been out collecting wood. Out of gratitude, the man's wife insisted upon making him a new one. The bear claw additions actually have pockets, and he uses them to carry along anything extra he needs, especially mints, as he loves to eat those very frequently.

This young arctic loving plumerian is set to devote his life to prevent global warming. He adores the animals that survive in the frozen land, specifically the polar bear. Well, why does he have a polar bear scarf? It's a rather embarrassing reason, I suggest you ask his mom if you want to know the details. As for that little pouch? It's said that he stuffs it full with fish for any arctic critter he comes across, quite smelly if you ask me.

When Kino was just a kid, he always dreamt of becoming a thundering brave polar bear, so one peculiar day, he had it in him that if he could look like one, he would become one. Well... Kino ended up shredding his favourite polar bear stuffy, save for the claws since he couldn't get his paws to fit, but unfortunately, the head didn't survive the surgery. Discouraged by his failed operation, his mother sewed the remaining bits and converged it into a magnificent scarf, one which Kino never takes off due to his belief in a magical connection to the snow loving creatures.

I'm just a little addicted to Polar bears. I visit a lot of Northern countries for my job, and I tend to pick up a few souvenirs whenever I visit places. I have at least fifteen snowglobes with little polar bears in them, and numerous plushies, even one as big as me! When I visited Greenland to do a report on Vikings, I came across a shop with a bunch of little trinkets, and not the usual Christmas ornaments. When I found this polar bear paw scarf, I just had to buy it. Not only is it fashion forward, but it also keeps me warm on my visits to the Northern Hemisphere!

My little satchel here, was actually homemade by a good friend of mine, Gwenneth, from Sochi, Russia. She's an old pen pal I met while travelling to write an article surrounding the black sea beaches. She just happened to be one of the people I interviewed, and we became fast friends. She said the bag was for me to carry writing utensils and a notebook, and made it to resemble a fantasy reindeer harness. I carry it almost everywhere, and it's a little worn from the constant use.

After his mother died, his father gave him a special scarf, one that was said to come from the constellation Ursa Major. Tino played with it so much, the fun never died. He still loves it, and a new story always pops up in his head thanks to his scarf. Hearing the fact that it came from Ursa Major just made his imagination go wild.

Through all of his journeys in Finland, Tino had been given a present... From the poor he had helped in the coldest, darkest days, they decided to give him something in return before he left. It was a little pouch, where he had all his needs in. Band-aids, blankets... Everything. Tino treasured the item, even if it got beaten up throughout the days.

The two items seemed so special to him, he could never give them up.

His paws were hidden inside much warmer stitched ones as he moved on. The last city had been nice: fresh food, a warm cafe with wifi, and many things to draw in the notebook. No place to stay, unfortunately. This was worth it as long as he didn't have to return to his horrid parents. The farther he was away from them the safer he felt. He shivered into his scarf, thoughts jerking away and focusing on surviving the snow. At least he had the scarf and satchel.

Nestor is currently living life as a runaway, so having few items makes travel easier. The scarf is an old one that he never used, until he followed through with his escape. The satchel is a gift from his late grandmother, who he felt was the only one in the family he could really talk to. They've been critical to his existence while roaming, as well as grounding him.
