Explanation: Named after the personification of the night, this young male is peculiar in many ways. Raised in an observatory, it wasn’t a surprise that he was fascinated with astronomy, astrology, and mythology. It was there and with his studies, that he discovered that every once in a while meteorites could be found on the North Pole, attracted by the earth’s magnetic field and so, following his curiosity and dreams, he decided to become a meteorite hunter.

The items he uses then are special for this work. The bag, though apparently small, holds valuable items such as maps, gps and the alike, so he can find his way towards the calculated spot of the meteorite fall, he also has his journal, where his adventures and new discoveries are listed. There is also his scarf, a gift from those who raised him to symbolically represent the Ursa Major and grant the young male the power and strength of the bear for him to continue his journey, plus, the scarf is very fluffy, cuddly and warm, it’s hard to leave it behind.

Dad was a Bobcat supposedly meaning patient; while mother was the Ram meaning Determined. When I was a teenager, I was a "Late bloomer" and didn't "earn" my totem while all my siblings had. I lost all hope, and being royal was tedious; politics and world affairs bore me, I’d rather explore the world. Plus, being last in line for king meant my talents were being wasted.

So I made a plan, while my family thought I was studying affairs in the Himalayas; I traveled and found I was more use outside the walls. Eventually I earned my totem, the bear; meaning “Free-Spirted”. A scarf materialized around me, how I earned my totem? That’s a story for another day, and trust me, it’s a good one…”

The scarf was found when he ranaway from home at a cold, snowy night. It was hanging on a tree so young Sam miraculously climbed on in. When he picked up the scarf and wore it, its wormth reminded him of the fireplace next to the armchair where his mother would read him stories. It reminded him of the warm love of his parents. Filled with the warmth he started to tear up and run back to home, where they awaited, worried like never before in their life. As he travels arund the world now, he always keeps it even in high temperatures since it serves as a warm reminder of home, love and safety as well as there is a place he can alwas return to even if the world would turn back on him.

The pouch is a whole diffrent story, as he is a traveler from Finland, he has his Finnish- English dictionary cleverly camouflaged as a pouch. It's actually a book in a waterproof and beautiful cover whom he tresures. He crafted it himself, that's why he's really proud of it. It's just easier for him to communicate abrot with it always by his side.
