Tenerife does not come off as normal. Ho, no. He does own a little shack on the border of a rainforest, but uses that only as storage for all the little bits and pieces he finds in the jungle. He is mute, so he does not talk like you or me, but when he does, he just shrieks, growls, and makes animal noises. Rife has struck up a relationship, not exactly friendship, but he regards some caimans, some jaguars, giant otters, and macaws to be his comrades.

Is this viscet civilized?; Tiassale's apparent disguise of being civilized in public and towards other viscets comes from his silence.
The last time he's spoken a word was years ago. This comes from him having borderline personality disorder. He won't speak, for fear
of being left alone or criticized. At times, he will have breakdowns where his sense of self and emotions go berserk. He feels as if he's in
a cage, isolated, being laughed at. His body is wracked with spasms and silent tears will stream down his face. Only time can tell how long
his breakdowns last; they can be minutes or they can be days. Although he rarely goes in public from fear of others, when he does, Tiassale
goes on automatic defense mode. His mane rises, he turns his face, and if another viscet tries to talk to him, he'll scamper. He walks with his
head down - it's almost as if a physical cloud is constantly raining on him. This brings up his 'civilized' disguise. His personality cannot be cured,
per say, but the extremity of his disorder can be lessened through his mate, which he's yet to find . . .

For a member of his tribe, the Raxurins(made up), a small-but-viscous tribe of a group of deciduous forest-islands, he appears quite civilized. He is the "spokesman" of the tribe, coaxing the others to accept truces and trades with other tribes. But he is still a Raxurin at heart. He is constantly battling with himself for control so he can spare others from his vicious wrath. Though he watches over both the gentle and the malicious of his tribe with the understanding and intelligence to handle them and all in between, he is in constant fear of loosing himself. This makes him very twitchy and seemingly in pain, but he hides it well beneath his adamantly leaderlike surface personality. Even when he was born, his mother saw he had more raw, powerful emotion than any other in the tribe and she was both rejoiceful and terrified.

"He shall teach his fellows of another way than violence, another way to look at the world. But he will loose himself to his own madness. Carry on, child... carry on guiding us until you break."

Is this viscet civilized?: Tali can communicate with other viscets, but she prefers to stay on her own. In all honesty, she doesn't quite understand others all that well, and she doesn't want to. The little loner tried to fit in with others, but she often misreads them, leading to a plethora of awkward situations and near-scuffles. Those that Tali can read well, she considers close friends. In the end, she /can/ fit in, but Tali very much prefers to be on her own. Nothing makes her happier than sitting alone and watching a sunset.
