A Ryuami is a hybrid between a dragon and a wolf. Even though both creatures are rather large, Ryuami's size's vary. They can be as small as a mouse or a bit larger then a car. Their fur depends on their environment. If they live somewhere cold their fur is thick and warm. If it somewhere hot, its shorter, but it's always soft and they always have a patch of dragon scales on their back. They have wolf ears, the left one is pierced with feather earrings when they are born. Each earring feather is different. They have glow on their long soft tail and their legs. This glow allows them to hover, but they can't go any higher then the tops of trees. Ryu's have long sharp claws, mainly used for hunting or defending themselves. They live in packs and are usually aren't alone, but some can live alone. Ryuami's lives in forests, which they protect and watch over. They are intelligent and know many languages; given to them by their dragon DNA.

Ryuami's are fascinated by humans and usually choose to share their souls with one, help them get close and understand humans more. This does not mean they are bound to you, a Ryuami can not be held down, it just means they bonded with you and you share their soul. Ryuami's live for thousands of years but are not immortal, but when a Ryuami dies the last of them lives in you as long as you live and passes down through your family. Sharing a soul with a Ryuami, is an honor.

Ryuami are connected to the earth and nature, they are magical, intelligent, creatures with passions and personality's but not all Ryuami's are bright and colorful. There are Ryuami out there that hate and refuse to care, these Ryuami only care about themselves, but will share their souls with humans as dark and as wicked as them. These Ryuami have more dragon like eyes, instead of wolf like eyes. Although, some Ryuami's can't make up their minds, if a Ryuami's soul is evil and they want to go back their eye will remained dragon like and their souls will be tainted by hate.

Ryuami's have nobility statues, there are commoners which are common and uncommon and the we have low nobility, like a prince or a princess is rare, and then high nobility, like kings and queens, are rare and very rare. They can have different horns, ears, manes, nose tendrils, and very rarely do they ever have wings, more than two horns, and more than two feathers.

These creatures are harmless to humans unless they try to harm them or have and evil soul. Ryu's love baby's and have soft spot for them. They eat meat, but stick to deer, elk, or other wildly populated animals around them. They protect forest and fill children's dreams with wonder. Ryuami's are not real ^^

I wanted to keep him for myself but I thought I would adopt him out.
I want him to go to a good place.

He can come off as unsocial to those that don't know him. Those that know him say, he is down to earth, gentle, protective, and very loyal. They also say he is quite easy going and tends to hide his true feeling about certain things. He is also one that needs time to get to know and to trust others.

His Home:
His home is somewhere he likes to call a place of mystery deep in the forest. It is a place where you can always find something new, no matter how long you've lived there. It is a place of caverns, each of the caverns walls are littered with glowing crystals in a rainbow of colors, and are also littered with glow worms. Each cavern is connected and he resides in the very center of the system, it is also where he keeps anything and everything that means something to him. If you are one of the lucky few to gain access to his home, you better stay close or you'll become lost within its vastness.

Personality:
Aviur is a very reserved Ryuami who keeps a lot to himself. Happy or sad, it doesn't really show on his nonchalant face. He is friendly but he prefers to keep his social circle small. When he loves something, he loves with all his heart and is very affectionate. However, you do not want to get on his bad side, when he's upset, he gets very violent. Aviur is also smart and cunning, using this to trick enemies or just play with their minds.
Backstory:
Aviur grew up in a strict family. Many things had to go through his parents and because he was quite the rebel when he was younger, he hid many secrets. From then, he started to become quiet and secretive. He has grown to also keep his cool in tough situations which has helped him many times when he face challenges.
Forest he lives in:
Now that he lives alone, Aviur enjoys it very much. The forest he chose to stay resides between a few mountains and has a long river cutting through. He stays peacefully in a large cave that he found. Food was bountiful and it was very quiet. Since it is far from civilisation, encountering people was a rare sight that only he saw maybe once or twice. He knows of a few Ryuami that resides in the same forest as he is but is some distance away. During early morning and night time, the temperature is frigid. In the day, it can be warm but not very warm.
