indenAzariah is a pretty mellow doll. He displays the persona of not needing anyone else, and during first impressions, he comes off as very egotistical or just unconcerned about anyone. In reality, it's not that he doesn't care, he's just not very good at making friends and being friendly right off the bat. If he was alone, without Raisa by his side, it's likely he wouldn't have the courage to befriend any dolls from the Dollhouse, and he'd live as a drifter, never set on any solid group of friends.

indenAzariah is confident. He is shy in approaching others due to his fragile ego, so he needs to know he's able to be liked by others. Despite this, he is confident that he is a kind doll once others actually get to know him, if given the chance. He is also afraid of appearing fragile, so he puts up a front and a hard shell blocking people out, and sometimes results in him acting rudely and seeming better than others. It's no surprise that Azariah is attractive as well. Because of his seraphic beauty, he's become a bit arrogant, but it's also a source of his confidence. Without his looks, he may not have developed his confident trait, and he would seem much more fragile to outsiders.

inden He highly values honesty, and good or bad, he will speak his opinion. This forthright quality does both harm and kindness, but it's a trait he won't easily shake. He's also very intelligent and analytical, and his incisiveness helps him notice little things about others. He is meticulous with his actions, whether it's where he's walking or the way he is dressed, and such a quality spills over on to his punctuality as well. He's almost always on time for his appointments, and if he's going to be late, he'll give a 15-minute notice ahead of time, whereas if he won't attend, it will be known 24 hours in advance.

indenAzariah was crafted in central London by a young woman. He was part of a fantasy collection consisting of elves, centaurs, sirens, and the likes. His clothes were inspired by her nephew's wardrobe, and his other features by her favorite flowers. She was fairly young, only 27, and her four-year-old nephew soon grew attached to the doll. She took him out of the collection and gave him to the child for his fifth birthday that year. After that occasion, the child grew up and was uninterested in the doll by the time he was 14. He returned him to his aunt, where she placed him up for purchase. A month later the business wasn't doing well and she needed to move, so she placed all the dolls in a box and went on her way. Azariah, like the others, was forgotten in the attic of her new home, and before long he was found by Raisa.

indenRaisa is stubborn, more so than a 50-ton piece of granite. She will fight and argue for her way until she gets it, or until Azariah is able to make her see things his way. Her stubbornness is probably her most obvious personality trait. She can also be compulsive and gullible, and she acts on instinct a lot of the time. Her opinionated views only assist her stubbornness, and vice-versa. She won't likely change her opinions because of her stubbornness, and she's stubborn because of her opinions.

indenRaisa is also a bit asocial. She has a hard time holding conversations with anyone other than Azariah, and being in social situations causes her a lot of anxiety. Her small size doesn't usually help matters either. Size isn't an issue when it comes to her maternal qualities, though. She is very protective of Azariah but knows when to leave him be and allow him to make his own mistakes. He is, however, the only one it really applies too, but she's motherly to him all the same. In contrast, she can also be airy and take serious situations too lightly. This usually only irritates Azariah because her stubbornness gets int eh way of him being able to get through to her that the situation is more serious, but it's also a way she copes with serious things. She doesn't like dealing with them because they weigh her down and she'd rather be more joyful than serious conversations usually are.

indenRaisa is also fond of appearances. She feels confident and glamorous in her own skin, and she loves her dress and sparkly wings. Her mind works in wondrous ways, and she's usually bouncing ideas around in her head, and things that seem completely unrelated to outsiders. As such, she's been known to be spontaneous and Azariah secretly really loves this about her. And even though they are eternally bound to one another, Raisa is self-sufficient in all other areas. She doesn't need the approval of others, and as long as Azariah is by her side, she doesn't even need to be liked by anyone else. The way it seems, Raisa needs Azariah less than he needs her, but that doesn't mean she doesn't need him at all. She adores the big doll and would do just about anything for him, so long as she's in the mood.

indenRaisa's story begins in the same store as Azariah. The young doll-smith was in a relationship with an intelligent young man. He seemed to always have a puzzle or a book in his hand and he often helped her with doll concepts. After 3 and a half years of dating, they broke up. It happened right after she finished making Azariah. During the time that they were in a relationship, for their six monthn of dating celebration, he made the girl a rflower out of tissue paper using a tutorial he found online. The woman adored it, and displayed it in her shop near the cash registar. She tossed it when her relationship ended, and Raisa came to existence.

indenAt this point, their relationship can best be described as that of best friends. The way the love each other is like a brother-sister love. They care and look out for each other, but know when to let the other make and learn from mistakes. Sometimes there's prodding and tempting with pranks, but there is still always support. Standing up next to and for each other. Being there together for the other. Knowing they're never actually alone in anything they do.

indenDuring the early days of their relationship, there was a lot of possessiveness. Azariah developed a crush on Raisa as early as a month into knowing her. She was sweet, cute, spoke her mind, and her intense eyes were captivating. For a long time, Raisa let it be. She knew he did, but she didn't want to really say anything because she didn't feel the same way. After some time, the little things became bigger things. She would notice the way he curled his tongue when he focused, and the way his eyes reflected the light at dawn and looked brilliant. She slowly started to fall for him too, and by the time she realized it, things got in the way.

indenThey say timing is everything. And it is. Absolutely everything. Azariah was falling for another Doll, and had been for quite some time before Raisa was ready to be with him. She still decided to speak to him about it, and doing so helped the both of them. Azariah still had feelings for Raisa, but he wanted to see where things would go with this Doll, and so they decided that if the two of them were still interested after a year at the Dollhouse, and assuming neither of them were in a relationship with anyone else, that they would give it a go.

indenAs expected, that never happened. The opportunity did arise, but the two never felt like it was the right time. The moment had passed. Of course, the friendship was still strong, and that was also one of the deciding factors of a romantic relationship: would failure impact the friendship in a negative way. They almost went into it head-on, but something happened and Raisa couldn't follow through. Despite having the feelings, there was much more to take into account than either of them realized at the time, and it was then an unspoken decision that they wouldn't attempt to be romantic towards each other.

indenAbout a month passed and Azariah found another Doll to try to attract, and Raisa was the perfect wingman. She still adored him, but it was a different type of love. A love deeper than lust, not shaken by jealousy, and fuller than fondness. It was a complete devotion to his soul and his happiness and joy, and it wouldn't be easily destroyed. It became the kind of love among siblings of a sister to a brother, and a brother to a sister. Her whole outlook towards him was to protect whatever makes him happy, and to allow failure if it means growth. Simply being around him and watching him smile now brought her joy as well.

indenAs for Azariah, he feels the same way. He still loves her, but it's in such a way that he wants to look out for her, and maybe even try to show her the world, at least as best as he can. He understands she isn't a social butterfly and how important it is for her that they set aside time for one another, and so he makes that a priority with his weeks. This time is very important for the both of them because it allows them to sit with each other and just talk about anything. It's helpful in clearing the air, and stopping false conclusions from taking place between the two of them. This time helps them stay in the know about their lives, despite them never being apart.

personality Ahh, Odysseus, more along the lines called "oddy." Everyone's first impression upon meeting Odysseus is that he's as cold as the winter weather, no exceptions, no doubts. Although he knows that this is a very wrong first impression to give off, he will quite bluntly admit that he likes this reputation, and doesn't seem to mind them assuming things about him. He tends to do what he believes is right and not what others believe is right. He will stand out in the crowd if it means he is standing up for what he thinks is right, even if it may get him in trouble. His biggest problem? Odysseus doesn't seem to know how to enjoy himself. He doesn't know fun, nor does he even remotely care about fun, he's just this up tight ball of coldness.

BUt, there is a better side to Oddy, and if you happen to unlock it, you'll never find a better friend. Odysseus is loyal, gentle, and warm-hearted kind of doll on the inside. He secretly adores athena's tiny hugs, and will get her to hug him every time they're alone together.

personality Athena is not very talkative, nor is she very caring towards others. But when it comes to Oddy, she'd do anything for him. She was in distress for along time before Oddy came along and made a contract with her, so she's been eternally grateful to him. She's just the sweetest thing towards him, and she has the feeling Oddy doesn't really like it, but she doesn't really care, because she going to do it anyways. Athena doesn't find Oddy all that cold, she knows about his past and how he was abandoned before he came to the Dollhouse, and sometimes there's really nothing she can do when he's acting irrational except for shower him with her tiny hugs, which she knows he secretly likes.

relationship: The relationship between this doll and his shadow is quite unorthodox to say the least, it's not like a regular friendship you'd see every day. The two of them have come to a conclusion that they practically hate each other, but at the same time, they couldn't be happier that fate put them together. Athena's supportive nature towards him is a big coping mechanism for Odysseus' anti-social breakdowns, he takes comfort from her when he's upset in return for a friend for Athena. Athena isn't the friendliest person to say the least, but when it comes to Oddy, one could say she is in love with him.

Which, she in fact is, but being a proud fairy shadow, Athena would never tell anyone. However, she makes it extremely obvious in every conversation they have, Odysseus is just too stubborn to ever notice it. Long story short, they have a romance that one wouldn't even call romantic... But definitely weird.

She claims that the outside world is a terrible place that will never accept them for who they are.
