Paint-Tailed Pythons(PTP) are a unique breed of pythons that have paint seeping from their tail tips. PTP tend to be slightly smaller than their close cousins, ball pythons, females being around 2-3 feet long and males 1-2 feet long. Hatchlings are dramatically smaller at only 5 inches long.
Pythons tend to be quite intelligent, and PTP are no exception. PTP tend to be quite shy when first introduced to their owners, but will warm up quickly and soon become inseparable. PTP have exceptionally long lifespans, and have been known to live for upwards of 60 years.

PTP Name: Astrid
Short-Story: Every since Astrid could remember, she has been terrified of hawks. It all began several years ago, when Astrid was a little PTP. She and her best friend of many years were slithering through the forest, painting little messages on the trees. She knows she was told not to do that, but her friend was a troublemaker, and it sort of rubbed off on Astrid. She didn't want to let her down. Little did the two pythons know, the little "messages" they were leaving, (which actually just looked like a bunch of scribbles) was a trail being followed by a predatory hawk. Before they knew it, Astrid was slithering alongside her friend, before the hawk swooped down and grabbed her. Astrid tried to help her fight off the hawk, but to no luck. The only thing she could do was get away, unless she wanted to get eaten as well. And so she hid, while the hawk was distracted by the other snake. Astrid doesn't know what happened to her still, to this day.

PTP Rarity: Uncommon, maybe? I looked here where it says colors, and the palette inspiration I chose doesn't really fit any of the descriptions so I'm still a bit unsure.
