About Me:
- Hello, I'm Howlin! I am mainly on this site
for art, adoptions, and a few RPs when I have
the time. I own one Plumie, Hikari,
whom I won as a RU and adore her
very much. I am on everyday and love
to chat and check out art shops.
If I win this little fella, I promise to adorn
him with art and keep him in contact with
his loving family. I don't have Skype, but
I am in contact daily and may be willing
to create an account should I win.

Personality
Loyal | Brave | Honest | Extroverted | Caring | Outdoorsy
Confident | Self-less | Sharp-Tongued | Intellegent | Patient
Ames is an outgoing Plumerian who also finds silence to be just as wonderful. He is not afraid to travel to new places or talk to strangers, but conversations are often short lived as he can be rather persistent or bluntly honest. If you were to ask him a question, brace yourself to hear something that you didn't want to, because he will tell you the plain truth. Still, Ames does it all in the best intentions and always fights to see the best in others, even if they have little in them that is good.

Ames is a firm believer of chances. He believes that everyone deserves a chance, and whether they use it for good or bad is their choice. Ames first took interest in judgement when he saw a creature being punished by others for an act it didn't do. He felt something spark in his mind, something that screamed at him to do something about it. Now, he strives every day to become the best judge he can. He often goes to quarreling critters and acts as a judge to solve their bickering. Ames practices judging arguments every chance he gets, and loves every second of it.
Relationships
Dakota Watters-Antles - mother
- Ames adores his mother and her
genuine personality. He loves to gaze
at the breathtaking photos she has
accumulated over the years and often
enjoys going on long walks with her,
where he tries to point out somethings
he believes would make a picture,
even though they really aren't anything
special. Still, Dakota often takes a
picture of it anyway, partly for her sons
sake and partly for the memories.

Magnolia Atles - Mother
- Anes loves his mother and her
honest, and powerful personality. He
often seeks her out for advise,
knowing that she will give him a
bluntly honest answer, even if it's
something he won't like. Both of
them are dominant, which can
often lead to a fairly entertaining
fiery competition, but it's all in
good fun, as Ames knows that
Magnolia is the one in charge.

Abelle - Sister
- Ames enjoys the company of his
older sister and often makes time in
his hectic schedule to hang out with
her. He enjoys her honesty and
cheerfulness, and how she always
seems to be able to make him laugh
even when he is rather grumpy. He
has grown to be protective of her
and often will give others the stink
eye if they should get too close to her.

Hikari - Friend
- Ames met Hikari when he had
left to walk in the forest and clear
his mind in preparation for a
challenging case. His first impression
of her was that she was some sort
of murderer, due to the skull
strapped to her shoulder, but after
speaking a bit he found that she
was a wanderer who sees no point
in calling a place home. The two
stayed and talked longer than either
intended and wound up finding a
wonderful friend in eachother. They
now meet up every night to chat about
the day's events.

By me
Ames and His Family
Ames loves ever member of his family dearly and enjoys each one's company. He depends on them for guidance and advise as he grows and learns about the ways of life. Ames enjoys playing with his family every free time he gets, or practicing judging through fake trials they put on. He loves how supportive they are of his hope for a job and how patient they are with him. When Ames is in a sticky situation, he knows that he can count on his family to help guide him out of it. Ames intends to stay with his family until he either finds a mate, or is kicked out, in which case he wants to still live close by and maintain contact with those who raised him.

Ames and His Future Occupation
Ames Atles hopes to be a judge when he is grown. He loves the idea of being able to help someone recieve the Justice they deserve and strives to become the best judge he can be. Since he is so young, he can't become a judge quiet yet, but he is preparing for it daily. He is most commonly seen reading books about courts and laws, speaking to actual judges, or acting as the judge for minor feudes. He makes each desision through his set of golden scales that his parents bought for him. Each action committed is a round rock, varying in size and color by the weight of the act and if it is good or bad. Each rock is placed on one side of the scale depending on the action. At the end, Ames uses the scale to determine if the defendant is guilty or innocent. These miniature trials aren't often taken seriously, and Ames is sometimes ignored by the defendant and prosecution as he goes through his procedure. Still, Ames is never disheartened and only feels a stronger connection to his dream job.

Ames looked down at the scales as they teetered up and down slowly. In front of him, two young Plumerians sat impatiently. Finally, the scales stopped and Ames crouched to gaze at the placement of the two plates. After a moment, he rose and faced the two Plumerians. "The defendant is guilty." At his words, one Plumerian turned to the other and barked out a sharp Ha! while the other glared at Ames. The two turned and padded off, the victor hopping about joyously, leaving Ames to clean up the scales and stones. Each stone was placed tenderly into a silk pouch with a long string to avoid cracking or scratching them. After all were in the pouch, he slipped the cord over his head and hid the pouch in his scarf. He then tenderly picked up the scales and began walking back home. It was growing late and the street lights were beginning to flicker on, casting a weak golden hue on the cobblestone streets. Ames walked carefully, making a point to avoid holes and puddles, as he ventured home. His family was likely waiting impatiently for him now, or perhaps they were worried, though he doubted the second one. Ames had a habit of being late at coming home, so they were used to his slow pace.
Ames glanced around the street. It was rather quiet outside, the only sound being the tinkling of the stones in the pouch and the soft patting of his paws on the stone ground. France was beautiful at night. The stars shimmered beside the glorious moon and streetlights gave everything a dreamy air to it. It was the kind of place that eased your nerves whenever you walked down the road. Ames began to jog at the sighting of his home and wagged his tail excitedly. As he passed an alley between two houses, a body shot from the darkness and collided with him. Startled, Ames dropped the scale and watched as it skid across the ground. The loosing Plumerian from his most recent case pinned Ames down and bared its fangs. "What's your problem, runt?! I should have won that case!" Ames squirmed beneath the larger Plumerian. When he opened his mouth to speak, it slammed a paw on his muzzle, silencing him. "Some judge you are! You pick favorites!" The Plumerian turned its gaze to the scales that laid in the weak golden light and a cold grin grew on its face. "Hold him." At those words, Ames felt two other Plumerians press down on him with their paws as the first released him and walked toward the scales. Ames's eyes widened and he struggled underneath the weight of the slightly older Plumerians, but it was in vain. He watched helplessly as the first reared up and angled its paws at the scale. Ames shut his eyes as the Plumerian began to decend upon the metal object and waiting for the sound of its demise. However, it didn't come. Instead, there was a high pitched yelp. The Plumerians holding Ames released him and he listened as they scampered away. Then, a cool nose pressed against his and he slowly opened his eyes to gaze at Datoka's warms eyes. Ames grinned and jumped up, licking his mothers snout in gratitude. Behind her, he heard Mags shouting at the alley in French. Bee jogged over with the scale in her mouth and smiled at her little brother, who grinned merrily back. "You okay Am?"
Ames nodded happily. "I knew you guys would come! I wasn't scared at all!"
"You sure looked scared." Bee grinned at him and gave him a playful nudge. In response, Ames stuck his tongue out at her, a grin still staying on his face. Ames could always count on his family.
