he sat on the rotted iron bench and looked up into the deep blue night
sky where his mother used to take him every night before she passed
away due to unknown causes. her words echoed in his head, startling
the gator. "stay strong, my darling.." next to him was a damaged
bouquet, filled with roses. they weren't there beforehand. they were
a beautiful deep shade of red. he picked it up, looked back up into the
sky and began to tear up. "i love you mum.." he whispered.
