Satan and Me
It is about a girl who gets some pads that have runes in them by accident, and summons Satan when on her menstrual cycle. Because if that he is bound to her and she is able to order him around, she refuses to let him go and they form a friendly relationship and struggle with angels popping up. Things go down later on but they're friendly relationship begins to turn into more.

My reasoning for liking this, is because the fact it all started out with a joke and ended up in a long comic series which is now slowly becoming very popular. Its storyline is amazing and the fact each character has an actual personality to themselves and reasoning for their behavior, makes me happy.

Favorite webcomic and why: My favorite webcomic is Never Satisfied. Never Satisfied is one of my favorite webcomics (besides Homestuck of course) because it's one of the first comics I've read so far where the main character is nonbinary. For me, that's a big deal because it's so difficult to find NONBINARY characters out there, and there are so many people looking for a character to relate to. This is a comic where the main character is cute, disorganized, and a lotta bit sassy, but is relatable on so many levels.
I was talking to my friend the other day when I brought this comic up in conversation to them. Immediately, they looked it up on their phone and began reading. Not even a minute later they started crying and I panicked and asked why. They said this is the first time they've seen representation in something like this with a character that completely reminds them of themself. They were filled with so much happiness it made me happy to see them like this.
Not only that, but I LOVE things about magic and sorcery, who doesn't? And it's cute to see all these little spell casters learning how to work their tricks and such with their animal sidekicks. It's adorable! Not to mention the cute little non-magical kids. I love them to death. UGH.
And it's still going which means that I have something to look forward to every time it updates.
The plot is easy to follow, the art is adorable, the characters are so cute you want to eat them, questions answer themselves after a while, the artist is so friendly and such a good person, all in all... I recommend this comic with so much of my heart and soul and body.

What's the relationship between Egbert and Roman? These two are best friends. How? In case no one knew; Roman is blind, but he can still get around easily because he knows how to use his other senses to direct him. Egbert was the one who taught him how to do all this. He found Roman one day unconscious in the dirt in the ruins of the fallen kingdom and carried him home. After learning of Roman's disability, Egbert decided it was in good sense to teach him how to survive without his eyesight. They spent months enhancing Roman's other senses until finally he could live like any other Kalon. Roman felt indebted to Egbert and vowed to do anything for him in return. Egbert refused to take any repayment, but said that he would be glad to receive letters from Roman once a month letting him know how he's doing with his new keen senses. It started off with one letter, but they were being sent out and written more frequently than once a month. It entailed stories of great adventure and more, and soon they became rapid pen pals. This lead to weekend visits and thousands of letters daily. They became the closest of friends, but still respected each other's spaces and lead their own lives while keeping in contact as much as possible.

New rule: I think it'd be fun to have a RU for this comp, so to keep things fair the RU will win this kalon and the winner will be able to choose their favorite HS character. (Unless they only want this kalon. Hope that sounds fair!) PM me if you have any issues with that!

But because of the uncertainty that comes with this new rule I still encourage applying with the hopes of winning this kalon, just so you're happy regardless of your results as winner or RU c:

Favorite webcomic and why: ava's demon. this webcomic is so interesting, artwork and storyline. the artwork is so smooth and well detailed, he takes 10 minutes on each page of the drawings, simply because they're so intriguing that he has to take some time to soak it all in. he loves the fact that each character represents a shape, though they were not based off the shape; such as ava being a circle and odin being a square. he also loves that this webcomic seems "different" than others. the demons that create pacts with humans or aliens, since this webcomic takes place in a time well beyond now, when there is life on many multiple and different planets, the demons are interestingly based off of "the Seven Deadly Sins," and each of the demon's names has one of the sins' included in it. wrathia - wrath, pedri - pride, nevy - envy, tuls - lust, and so far that's all he knows. he's hungry to learn more about the webcomic that he loves dearly. he has a few head cannons; that ava's new life will be of the child pedri and wrathia had, since the egg had never hatched or he would've been the heir to their throne. he very strongly believes maggie and ava were best friends in the past, though since ava kept pn getting controlled by wrathia, maggie didn't like tha fact that ava had a "new friend" and left ava, though no matter how much she denies it, she misses their old friendship. john and i share the same pve for the webcomic, and he's convinced me to many of his headcannons too. [269 words]

Pajama boy's theme songs: Oddly enough to others, this happy-go-lucky prankster's theme songs are Control by Halsey and Bittersweet Tragedy by Melanie Martinez.

Personality: Why, pajama boy's appearance is 24/7 happy towards anyone and everyone he likes or loves. Though, he's quite similar to a professional actor, and it's always hard what's real from him and what's not a lie. The only way to tell is actually specifically how he acts. Yes, he's a good actor and liar, though that doesn't mean nobody can see through his bubble of what people want to see, and not what they should be seeing. Pajama boy's imagination goes wild while he's alone or if there's silence, and he gets mad slightly faster than some other Kalons would. Simply put, he's a rubber ball on the outside, bouncy, 'energetic', and stress-relieving. Though, on the inside, it may be empty other than a little bell that nobody can hear from the outside, slightly showing sensitive anger set-offs and feeling lonely sometimes, a few signs of MDD, which clashes with his atelophobia. While he lies saying he's ok and doesn't mean it, he might seem more calm and orderly. To his advantage, he's easily able to fake a smile, a laugh, and his words. Also to his great approval is how well he can help others and how well he enjoys to do so. He believes that it gives him a little bit more to mean to someone, kbowing they can count on you for a shoulder to cry on or some help with a situation. He mostly just doesn't want anyone to feel like he does, since to him it seems like absolutely the worst feeling ever existing, so he helps others so they, and he, can be happier with themselves.

Favorite webcomic and why: Lackadaisy
It's a comic about the prohibition period in the US (1920s). The twist is that the main characters are anthro cats! Ms. Butler (the author) managed to create a lavish, Roaring Twenties experience, complete with many intricate historical details in terms of clothing, laws and gangs involved, with using what can be considered a limited color palette. In my opinion, it is all for the better, as the art itself really has the essence of 1920s photography and/or film that helps the reader to become immersed into the world of Lackadaisy. The themes of Lackadaisy, are very dark. Alcohol smuggling during prohibition, where nothing but violence and the most callous use of power could keep you at top. The world is brutal and the cats keep things just light enough to stop it digging it's own grave.

The characters are really expressive and unique while being realistic in their design. They have each their own body shapes and dapper clothes. Some have squat faces with arched eyebrows to make them look more mischevious. Other have rounder, fuller faces to indicate age or sophistication. The one that I like the best, though, is the design for Aunt Nina, a large-ish lady who looks both like an elderly church lady and someone you do not want to mess with. Their actions and dialogue are true to their personalities. Each character is highly distinct, with their own charm and uniqueness, and there is a favourite character for everyone. The relationships are complicated and realistic. They each have their own origin and their own story to tell.

favorite webcomic ;; sweet bro and hella jeff
who could hate it? it has a+ artwork, humor, and style. definitely the coolest webcomic out there.

no, I'm just kidding

homestuck. i don't want to sound basic here or anything, but really, homestuck changed my life. in
the time that i've been in the fandom, i became a better and more interesting person. i got into a
hobby that truly helped me find myself, cosplaying. at first, i cosplayed nepeta, but soon i was cosplaying
eridan and meulin and even johnny boy himself! but it's not only about cosplaying, its the amazing
people i've met on the journey through the amazing, seven year long comic, and its the people i will
continue to meet because of it. i met my best friend and my boyfriend through homestuck and i hate
to see it go.

so this is my contribution to the webcomic that helped not only bring myself together, but tons and tons
of people all over the world together as well.

Favorite webcomic and why: So you guys remember Undertale, Sans and Papyrus, right? I did some research a while back and I have to say Helvetica is one of my favorites. It's quirky, funny and what Sans was originally based off of. I highly recommend it if you're an Undertale fan. It's still early on and unfinished but I can't wait to read it all when it's closer to being finished. Another would have to be SWEET by a member off of cs, Bottle, who owns Hyeneas. Everything about this webcomic is astounding and unique, from the style to the characters. I believe it was also heavily inspired by HS. So maybe check that one out too if you're a fan??
