Baltic Winters Sled Dog Association: Rescue Round Up

This girl was found one morning on the side of the road, she was very skittish and was limping. Upon further examination, this girl had been hit by a car and received a broken leg. It never healed properly, and she now has a limp and her leg hurts if she strains it too hard.

Task 1 - Welcoming your new dog home - Incomplete/Complete
[Kyle told me all about his dog, some sort of husky I think, I forgot what breed it is. his name was Max, rescued from the Baltic Winters Rescue Center. was found with a chain digging into his neck abandoned in an old barn. I was amazed by his story and how Max has recovered so well. so that's how I ended up at the shelter. looking through the kennels but none of the dogs spoke to me, none of them told me to bring them home, if you know what I mean. then the double doors opened and a man in scrubs came out holding a white husky with some black spots. there was a cast on he back left leg, a small crowed gathered while the doctor put her in an empty kenel. she attempted to walk on her hind leg but it wouldn't support her. she whimmpered but then looked up and wagged her tail seeming to enjoy the attemtion. a man dressed in furs scowled at her and said. "Wat 'appened to 'er leg?" the doctor frowned and said "Silly girl ran in front of a car and it slipped on ice trying to stop but it was to late, the surgury didn't go well I am afraid it will always hurt her, its a miracle that only her leg got hurt." the fur man grunted in displeasure "s'e von't ever 'ake a good sled dog." the crowd dispirsed from the dog and the doctor locked the kennel. I approached her and she looked up at me, stuck her tounge out and wagged her tail. I smiled and poked a finger through the door, she licked it and gave a little bark. I chuckled and knew she was the one. "Don't worry girl you will be a sled dog, I have always wanted a team." after all the paper work and ignoring all the coments saying she isn't worth it I finialy trugged through the snow and made it to my car. she lept on the passenger seat and whimppered when her bad leg hit the seat, she mannaged to sit but in an awkward possition. still she look right at home. I chuckled and patteted her head and together we headed home. as I pulled into my garage I saw she was getting anxiouse and was eager to move around. I opened the driver door and she lept right over me out of the car, she landed on three feet. For a moment she paused then limmped around the garage sniffing every nook and cranny. I sat in my car and smilled as she scammpered around acasionaly looking up at me and wagging her tail. eventualy we got inside and I had already bought a bed and bowls that were filled with dog food and water, she took one look at it then plopped herself on my couch. she stayed there while I made dinner, I had the tv on and it seemed to keep her occupied. I sat down on the couch next to her and began to each my cooked salmon while watching a National Geographic program on why you shouldn't eat fish, kind of ironic but nothing can stop me from eating meat, I love meat. I was focused on the tv and without looking I put my fork down to pick up another peice but my fork hit the plate, I tried again, click, I looked down confused and I saw the dog licking her lips and my plate was clean, I chuckled "thanks for saving me from murcury poisoning you little daredevil. you were pretty fearless for running in front of that car too." then it hit me, "fearless, that's what I will name you, but it sounds boring by itself, I think Audux means fearless in latin, but Audy for short." she barked to that, then Audux and I continued to watch the program and we both feel asleep on the couch.]

Sorry i could not met the deadline' i came home today to finish them but i guess i couldn't because in my time it still says it is the 8th but on here it doesn't? she is a pretty babe and i hope she goes to a good home, thanks for the opportunity.
