Ruby and Sapphire are incredibly close(inseparable actually). In a crisis, Ruby will usually act like he cares for no one but Sapphire, but he does care other(just is awefully terrible at showing it). Both, however, are like their father and do not want anything to do with either side of the war, as they have their own views on what should be more important.
