How does this Viscet Welcome Spring?:
Every first day of spring, Hortus wakes up early that morning. He gets ready to go outside, and then goes on a walk in the cold, early, spring morning. He always brings a small bell with him and shakes it as loud as he can, as he walks. Some viscets are confused of his actions, but He is just waking up all of the animals from hibernation. If they don't wake up the first time he comes around, then he will get a bigger bell, and walk around for his second time. Once all of the animals have awaken then he gets them food, sets it in front of their homes, and then lets them be for the day. After he takes care of the animals he gets plant food, and water, and sprinkles it on all of the flowers ready to bloom. Then this viscet gets all of the weeds, throws them away, and makes room for every plant to have a little sun. Then he gets out springy decorations, and lots of treats. Then he goes around to all of the viscets and invites them to his spring party. Then they celebrate by, dancing, playing games, eating, and looking at the new spring world around them. Then Hortus sleeps for about 7 hours, so he can wake up really early to see the first sunrise of the official Spring. Hortus loves watching the spring sunrise, parties, animals, and plants. In fact spring is his favorite holiday, sometimes by when all the flowers are in full bloom, he will pick them and make flower crowns with them, flower necklaces and more flower accessories to show how mush he really does love spring. He likes to show other viscets that spring, is actually a really fun season, and ou can do many fun things in it.

How does this Viscet Welcome Spring?: Alice is quite a quirky viscet, always up to something
or making 'new creations'. Mostly, they turn out to be really bad, but she doesn't mind as there
is always room for improvement.
However, what she does when it's spring isn't as big or as entertaining to others, in fact she
doesn't invite others round. She likes to decorate her home with little origami flowers and
butterflies to make everything prettier.
Now, she doesn't just stop there. Alice cuts out little oval shapes of card and sprinkles them
on her windowsills or plant pots to represent petals or leaves.
It's not just the inside of her house that Alice decorates, she likes to tie strings and ribbons on
the roof and let them hang down and blow in the wind. They are all pastel colours, just
something Alice does to make her home more welcoming.
Finally, she decorates her coop of chickens by placing little coloured eggs around inside and
tying more ribbons to the fence surrounding it. Alice loves her chickens dearly and doesn't
want them to feel 'left out'.
Now you may think that this idea is useless as no one may see it, but to Alice, it's her own
little tradition of welcoming spring, her way of feeling excited for the change of weather.

How does this Viscet Welcome Spring?:
First, Kyoto cleans her house. She practically scrubs it, making sure everything is spotless for the new things that come. Then, she goes to the local garden store. She buys as many annual flowers as she can, both on sale and pricey. She lines them all up in pots behind the windows in her house, as well on her windowsills and in her garden. She raises plants for a living, selling them. Of course, spring is the best time to grow flowers, and she takes advantage of the sun and warming temperatures.

How does this Viscet Welcome Spring?: On the first day of spring, Dawn goes out right before the sun rises and lays down in the grass. As the sun begins to rise she makes a wish for what she wants to happen this season. One year it might be that she wants to win an award, another year she may wish to make a new friend.

Bloom starts off her spring each year on the astronomical spring beginning date. For 2016 that was March the twentieth.


Spring cleaning?

No one loves spring cleaning more then Bloom! Each year Bloom invites friends over to help and have fun, and they start by getting rid of old bedding, old nest lining and clearing away any old food from the Winter when prey was more scarce. Then, after there is nothing on the floor, she sweeps everything in a huge pile using her tail. When everything is in a pile, she clears it out, which usually takes around a half an hour. When the floor is nice and clean and free from dust, she'll begin getting now nest lining and creating a new spring nest. She'll make sure it's super comfortable and then she's on to decorating!


Decorations?

To decorate, she starts by creating flower chains to hang outside her den. Roses or tulips usually, although she likes petunias and daisy's as well. She buys new flowers at the end of each week to make sure that they are presentable. She'll then make sure she has enough flowers for gifts and accessories. Once she is sure there is enough, she'll create a small pool of water near the back of the den, and fill it with hot water and rose petals. This creates a spring like fragrance in her home, and it also lightens the mood when guests are over. She twines flowers into her nest and then braids them into her mane and creates a flower crown which she perchs on her head as if it was made of real diamonds and gold. Near the end of winter, she collects fireflys and keeps them in jars around her den to lighten it up bit, but don't worry, she takes good care of them!


Diet?

During spring, Bloom likes to make sure she uses the new, good weather to her advantage, and collects berries at any chance she has. She's very glad that they are growing near her den as she couldn't go too far without losing her home. She also eats small rabbits and an occasional duck of she's lucky. That said, she will often sneak in some sneaky waster treats that she shouldn't have and even some honey.


Favorite part?
Her favourite part of the Spring season is that she gets to spend time with her loved friends and family. They often go out into the orchard, or sometimes even the beach if the weather is okay. She finds it odd when people go nowhere near the water, as its one of her favourite hobbies. She swims like a pro, and doesn't even seem to realize people are staring.


Gifts?

During spring her friends and family usually recieve flowers, cards, chocolates, bunnys and even sometimes a small plate of fruit she collected. Chocolates are home-made and small plate chocolates.


To Finish it off

Spending time with family also helps her stay in the Spring mood, and by the time Summer comes round, everyone is Springed-out!

Castle and his pet groundhog, Costello, are inseparable to say the least. Both are rather therapeutic for each other, and their relationship is very mutualistic. With Cas's immense fear of wind and Costello's hatred for extreme weather, the two stay indoors for the entirety of summer, winter, and autumn. When spring comes, however, their dusty doors fling open and the pair rejoice in all of the wonders of nature. They spend nearly the whole season outside making up for what they previously missed. Castle and Costello prepare for the lovely season by catching up on current events as well as weather patterns, so that they can enjoy their few months of nature.
