how does she deal with being blind?;; Current doesn't simply deal with being blind - she embraces it. She doesn't care to find out what the world would look like, instead going for feel and sound. She loves standing outside and simply listening to the world, figuring out with minimum evidence what's out on the beach and where the are in an easy few seconds. Emburr, her best friend at the stables, is also blind, and together they like to talk and smell and feel the world instead of see it. She does, however, feel a bit guilty sometimes about her lack of sight - Current loves children and often wants to feel them on her back, but she's a bit too unstable and jerky to actually be a riding horse. Instead, she settles for hugs, nose kisses, and the feel of people's hair in her lips.
