Hazard Kits lay small, almost oval shaped eggs instead of bearing live young. The fact that they can only have one litter in their lifetime makes them rarer than Hazard Cats. Also, kits have stronger attachments to their mates, making them mates for life. They have only a few months in a year where they are willing to raise sparks. They can't risk losing them to winter cold or predators, so they make their nests in the months of Spring. Teacup Syndrome appears frequently in Hazard Kits and, due to reaching maturity much later in life, the Teacups cannot breed. Something seems to have gone haywire in the fourth children as well, since they cannot have sparks either! This nursery closes ~July 20th - seems there's a delay this year!
[Rules]
--All other Hazard Cat rules apply here.
--The kits obtained from this nursery are currently slotless, not going towards any limit. There is the possibility this will change.
--Breedings will only be accepted March though June each year.
--Kits must be adults to breed.
--Hazard Kits can only breed with other Hazard Kits.
--Fourth children, teens, and Teacup teens cannot breed at all.
--If the cat is growing (you got them in egg stage) they must have been an adult for a week before breeding.
--If the cat was adopted in adult stage, they can be bred right away.
--Kits can only be bred once and they mate for life!
--Kits can breed right away after becoming mates, as there is no wait time nor do you need to announce on the forums that those kits are mates (but you still can if you'd like).
--Only heterosexual couples are allowed to breed (male/female).
--If you're breeding with a kit that isn't yours, you must have the owner's permission.
--Inbreeding is not allowed.
--The number of eggs in a nest is determined by a randomizer.
-----Exception: Collaborative breeding tickets will always result in an even number of eggs.
--Eggs can be hatched one week after existing.
--Nests must be hatched together. So, if it is requested for one egg in a nest to be hatched, their siblings will be hatched as well.
--In order for a nest to be hatched, you need to post on the nest's page.
--Due to a lack of trait rarity variation, kits all have a random chance to have a fourth child. A number between 1 and 100 will be rolled. If that number is a multiple of ten, they will have a fourth child.
--There's a 50-50 chance that each spark will be a Teacup.
--Rules are subject to change.
