Espen is a fun-loving plumerian around the age of 20. Espen is a plumerian you would call a comedian. Espen loves to shout
jokes and puns, anywhere he goes... except for work.
Espen works as a lawyer, and can seemingly get what he needs by arguing, one of Espen's many other talents is, obviously
arguing. Espen isn't allowed to tell jokes during work, as he almost got fired twice from doing so, that's why he is so good
at arguing, that's is literally one of the only things he does there. But.. when the time comes, he
is allowed to joke, but this is only at parties/end of year type of things.
On the inside, Espen would rather be quiet, but he likes to stay with the crowd, and tries to avoid being lonely. Espen used
to not be able to speak properly in front of crowds, and instead of whipping up jokes, he sat and wrote poems on his note-
pad.

Espen is also very good at sweet-talking, he can get what he wants, when he wants.. but it's not always that
easy. Espen can't usually sweet-talk anything from girls, but he doesn't give up, you see, Espen is also VERY
stubborn, he doesn't like to give up, anything.
Next I will talk a little bit more about why he turned into a jokester, and why he wears, well.. his tie.

Espen used to be the smart, nerdy, plumerian. Espen had a hard time making friends, and being able to
talk in front of crowds. He was very quiet and separated, and most of the time, he didn't mind. Espen was
like this from third grade to sixth. On his third day of seventh grade, Espen had gotten a phone, and when
he was at school he received a text message,
I'm watching you Espen.. I've seen you, I know where you
live, if you don't start acting up now..
I'll find you.
Of course Espen was terrified. He shook like a rocket the hour and went to the counselor. Espen started
to talk more, he tried to get to know everyone better, he was very scared of the plumerian who had texted
him. Espen tried to think of a way to get being known better, so he began to tell jokes. Soon, Espen had
began to tell jokes to everyone, even if it got on their last nerve. Espen was sent to the principal because
he had told a joke almost 3 times during math class while the teacher was talking. Espen explained why
he was telling jokes and talking to much. The principal called the police, and the police had looked at his
phone and examined the number, they soon found out it was a highschool student visiting the local
neighborhood highschool.
To this day, Espen still carries that phone, it lies in his jeans pocket right now, I would think.
Espen began to take a liking to saying jokes. He had grown so used to it, now he would just say jokes because
he could! Espen was now beginning to warm up to the community. Espen still loves jokes, and he always
will. Espen likes to go around on stages and entertain people in his free time.
Espen got his tie at a garage sale when he began to work as a lawyer, he then wore it on stage, at work,
and sometimes even around the house. Espen got his other tie.. well, because he liked to be confusing.
You see, his ties look alike, so he named both of his ties, and every day he asks someone, "which tie is it?"
usually they answer wrong, and Espen loves it.

One other thing about Espen, he's flirty. Recently, a young
plumerian named Talia moved into one of the apartments in
front of his small house. When Espen saw her, of course this
was his chance, to actually find someone to talk to when he
was bored, sad, or mad.. so he just waltzed right over, absent-
mindlessly and began to flirt. Typical boy right? Things went
well from then on. Espen and Talia began to take a liking to
each other.
The next story I will tell you about is a special one to Espen
and Talia, I hope you enjoy.

both plumerians perspectives.
(after espen goes to work it is just me.)
It was a rainy night outside, and it was really late, past Talia's "bed time". She had to take the garbage out, since the bin was getting rather full. Talia yawned and put her winter coat on. She grabbed the garbage bag and unlocked her apartment door. She slowly walked outside and stumbled across the stairs. She was extremely tired. Talia checked her phone. "12:45?! I should go to sleep as soon as I get back into my apartment...I have tons of work to do tomorrow." She threw the garbage bag in the disposal bin and practically crawled back to her apartment room.
Espen yawned and checked his alarm clock, he had woken up 5:00 hours early. He grumbled and pulled the sheet over his head. A few seconds later he heard rumbling outside his window and he sat up, shaking his head and walking to the window, he was about to yell at whatever that was before he noticed her.
Espen stuck his nose to the window and his ears twitched while he stared.
Talia was nearly at the door when she saw the ground getting closer to her. She had passed out on the stairs as the rain was pouring on her. She could feel her pants getting very wet and sticking onto her fur.
Espen had gone back to bed after a while, a few minutes before he had to leave he walked outside with his hoodie and an umbrella, he was wearing jeans and a black and white tee, his hoodie was a light purple.
He walked to the ladies house, she had fallen asleep under her porch roof, he smiled awkwardly as he kept walking. Espen paused, Do I want to wake her? He smiled nervously, "Hello, m-m'am?" He stuttered shyly.
Talia was fast asleep until she heard someone talking. Her eyes opened and she looked up. She looked very confused. "W-what happened?"
Espen smiled, "You fell asleep, on your porch" He said quietly, he held out his hand, waiting for her to take it and him to pull her up. He smiled shyly and a deep cover of blush filled his face.
Oh man, did I actually fall asleep here? That's so embarrassing...", Talia thought to herself as she grabbed the plumie's hand. "T-Thank you, I must have been very tired.... Talia's face went red from the embarrassment.
Espen smiled, "It's no problem," He handed the umbrella to her, "I'm going to work right after this, you can keep it." He nudged it closer.
Talia held the umbrella and smiled. "Thank you.." She held the umbrella between both of them. "I feel like im in a movie, the classic "its rainy and you didn't bring an umbrella, here, use mine" scene"
Espen smiled and nodded, "Yah, it does.." He let go and pulled out his phone, "Can you fill out this survey on my phone real quick?" He pulled up the contacts screen on his phone and handed it to her, the keyboard up and waiting for her on the phone number bar.
Talia blushed and nodded. She typed her phone number and handed back the phone.
"Thanks.. Well, I have to leave now.." He paused, "By the way, I'm Espen." He said, winking.
"I-Im Talia, nice to meet you." she said as she smiled. Oh my god he is adorable... Talia thought to herself.
Espen smiled cheesily and turned around, looking back before he entered his small mini van.
Talia waved at Espen as he drove off. She tip-toed her way to her apartment steps and opened the door. She violently shook the umbrella and hung it from the door knob. Talia took her wet clothes off and set them to dry. She sighed and went through her closet to find nice dry clothes to put on. Talia found a top which matched with some shorts. She quickly put them on and headed to her couch. She turned on the tv and turned to a channel.
Espen sighed and got into his mini van and started the car, the engine roared as he turned the mirror to the back of the car, watching as Talia went back inside.
After Espen went to work and came back.. *around 3:00 pm*
Espen walked out of his car and looked around. He stopped at Talia's apartment and walked over slyly, hoping to be unseen. He knocked on the door and waited.
Talia looked up from the TV and turned her gaze to the door. She grumbled and got up, opening the door without care. When she saw who it is, she blushed and looked down, "Oh.. hey Espen!" She squeaked.
Espen smiled and looked down at her, "Hey.." He paused and thought for a moment, "Would you like to go hang out with me sometime tonight?" He asked shyly and his nose twitched.
Talia's eyes widened, did he just ask me out on a date? oh my god..", "Sure!" Her voice was shrill.
Espens face expression changed from nervous to ecstaic, "Cool! How about BJ's around 6:00ish?" He piped up, his voice also very high.
Talia nodded, her face was covered in a deep set of blush. She smiled and looked up, "See you then?" She asked.
Espen nodded silently and smiled, "Yah, see you then." He grinned and turned around, walking back to his house across the road.

Espen smiled brightly as he put his formal clothes on. His first date with a girl! He grabbed Herman (his black spotted white tie), and put it around his neck gently.
Talia had been ready for a while, her blue bedazzled dress matching her fur color. She waited patiently for Espen and sat on the couch, pulling out her phone to watch netflix.
Espen grabbed the small charm he had bought for her before he came home, he noticed she had a bracelet on, so he had bought a small heart charm to connect to it. Espen flew out the door and into the car, he quickly turned it on and drove around to her apartment, he honked and waited.
Talia jumped as she heard a honking noise. She calmed as she noticed Espens car through the peek hole. She opened the door and hopped out, her scarf dangling at her waist.
Espen stared and gaped, she looked absolutely lovely. He smiled nervously as she walked into the car, sitting down in the seat next to his.
Talia blushed and buckled herself, the sparkles itching at her fur.
After they eat/chat and get to know each other more.
Espen wiped his mouth free of pizza sauce and looked at the time, "Do you wanna go hang out in the park?" He asked gently, sliding his phone back into his pocket.
Talia smiled, "Sure!" She yipped. She waited for him to pay for the food and stand up before she moved.
Espen stood up and flattened his shirt, he grabbed his card and looked over at Talia, waiting for her so she could get situated.
Talia grabbed her scarf and wrapped it around her neck, following Espen through the door and right across the street. She smiled warmly and looked around.
Espen put his hand in his pocket and felt around for the charm. He smiled and looked at Talia, who was gazing up at the stars, "Wanna sit down?" He asked, pointing to the small bench.
Talia nodded, "Sure." She looked at his face, his feathers and eyes glittered as the moon rose, she sighed and sat down beside him, her grey feathers swaying in the wind.
Espen looked at the sky and glimpsed Saturn, he smiled slyly and pointed, "There's Saturn." He said and nudged Talia.
Talia looked up at Saturn and smiled, "Her rings are beautiful.." She sighed and stared for a while.
Espen looked at her, "So are you." He blushed and looked down at his paws.
Talia's eyes widened and she blushed, she didn't speak, but from the way she was looking, you could tell she was embarrassed and flushing with nervousness.
Espen back up and pulled out the charm, "Here." He murmured
Talia looked up at him and looked at the charm, she smiled, "It's for me?"
Espen nodded, "It's for you."
Talia blushed, "It's lovely Espen."
Espen smiled, "Your welcome."
Talia hooked it on to the bracelet and admired it, "Thank you."

Talia || Lover/Girlfriend
As I've mentioned in the previous parts of Espen's
story, Talia and Espen are basically in love, Espen
admires her and is almost always with her. Espen
loves to spend time with her and mess around with
her. With Talia, he feels relaxed and easy.
Peony || Acquaintance/Friend
Although Espen doesn't really know Peony that
much, he is fascinated by her love of flowers.
Espen likes the way that she's kind to almost
everyone. He hopes to be more like her someday.
Myrmidon || Friend
Myrmidon and Espen met on Skype, Espen doesn't
exactly know her that well, they saw each other
once when Espen was on vacation, but they never
knew it. Espen likes Myrmidon well, and he hopes
to one day meet her in person, and actually know it.
Luciole || Friend
Luciole and him met at a park on a Saturday
morning when Espen was off work. Espen got
to know him and eventually they became friends.
Espen admires Luciole and watches him, Espen
loves Luciole's food especially his Gumbo. Espen
and Luciole are definitely friends.
