Why those three: August lives in a little bit of a tropical place, and he's got to admit, those foods are the foods his mouth would water for. He never had interest in the others, really. Fruit- Similar to a lemon, the starfruit is tart and sour. Unlike a lemon, the starfruit isn't as sour, so she can enjoy the flavor without making the funny faces.

why those three halli likes these because they are exotic to her. she hates being normal, she finds it boring! when Halli was younger, her mom got her a koi pond, and she would eat them. heh. but she finds them very tasty, fatty, and a bit spicy. as for the giant leopard moth, she loves texture, and this moth has a lot of fur. most kalon she's met dislike the way fur feels on their tounge, but she thinks it's soothing. she loves the way the white goes with the blue, purple, black, and the other bright colors. the durian is a result of curiosity and mischief. she had sneaked one into her mothers shopping cart when they checked out, and tried eating the hard crust. halli soon realized she was supposed to eat the inside, not the outside. the inside reminds her of a very juicy mango, her second favorite fruit.
