I don't remember what year it was but it was a couple years ago in a different home when we got Arcee who was our other cat. Okay I'm going to start from the beginning. It happened around my little brother's birthday. Our grandma's cat had a litter of six kittens. My Father was gone for a few months at that time because of his job. So anyway our grandma came by with the kittens. We had met them before, but now it was time to pick one out. It was kind of a surprise. There was a little kitten that i had bonded with and i wanted him to be our second cat. But our Mother said that because we already had a tom we could not have another grown male cat in the house. We were aloud to take care of the kitten for a couple of weeks though and then we would give him to our great grandparents. So instead we got a little girl which we named Arcee. We named the boy Optimus. Optimus would always sleep under the covers at the foot of my bed, nibbling my toes. Arcee on the other hand liked to sleep with my older sister Architeuthid. Arcee and her brother liked making a game out of hiding behind the computer chair and seeing who could get the closest to our other cat Asterisk before they got to scared and ran behind the computer chair again. When the time came to give away Optimus I snuggled him one last time before putting him down in his new home and saying goodbye. Later I was told he behaved very well and was good. (I still visit him.) When our father came home we had one more cat then when he had left. We had told him of course but he had never really seen Arcee. A couple years later we had to move so we re homed her to one of our fathers friends. (She hatted cars.) We kept Asterisk though because he is like family. Also I've known him all my life. Oh and did I ever mention Arcee is fat? Correction she is really fat. (Oh and does this count? It is not all in one day but it is a thing that happened in spring.) (365 words.)

I know there is no way i am winning... I am going to be heart broken as see someone else win. This tolter means everything to me.

Tell Me About Your Favorite Spring Memory: This one is a hard one. I would probably say my current favorite spring memory was making skype and meeting a lot of new friends and people I know consider family. I've met my bestfriends through joining Bear run {March 31st} and making a skype, people I talk too on a daily basis and play on meeting in the near future. I have people that will always have my back, always know how to make me smile, and definitely have seen me at my worst ~ shout out to Shep & Band <3

Tell Me About Your Favorite Spring Memory:
I spent one amazing Easter fortnight (I hope that counts
as being spring) in South Africa a few years ago. A few
moments stood out, but the best part of the trip was
staying in the game reserve at Shamwari. I'll pick a few
of the best things c: Getting up at the crack of dawn,
pulling on khakis and jumping in the jeep everyday was
amazing. Then listening to our wonderful guide explain
about the bush he was so passionate about as we looked
for animals. One morning we spent ages watching a
small lion pride eat a fresh killed antelope. Another day
our truck was charged by a mother rhino - that was
rather scary and certainly something to talk about over
dinner! In hindsight though my favourite memory would
have to be meeting elephants at the elephant sanctuary
nearby. The elephants were completely free to roam a
huge field and the keepers/rangers just wandered about
between them. The elephants all came right over though
as we gave them chunks of fruit and veg.
