why are their eyes closed;; Tidal has a bad fear of the outside world, and constantly is doing stuff to avoid seeing it, she will run behind a chair, or close her eyes, like she is doing here. She just doesn't like to see it, it's to be taken seriously for her at least.

Why Does He Keep His Eyes Closed?: As a young kit, Klash enjoyed nothing more than a playful afternoon on the beach, enjoying the sunlight and the salty air. He always felt safe in the warm embrace of the sun, its rays coddling him like a mother would. Yet as he aged he noticed his eyesight growing weaker and weaker, rendering him practically blind. He later found that the exposure to sunlight so constantly is what had caused it, and was completely heartbroken. The only way he could save even just the slightest bit of eyesight would be to completely avoid light, keeping his eyes closed and covered at all times.
Why Wont He Smile?: Of course this was a horrible existence for him. He had to abandon what he had come to love so dearly. Lost within the darkness of the world, hiding away from the shimmering sun, he grew tired of his existence. What was once a very cheery and excitable Sharkeeta had now turned into a depressed and lazy creature, who could hardly be bothered to fake a smile..
