name; bartley 'thistle-whistle' artria
gender; male
personality; bartley is an innocent-looking, graceful plumerian. he often gets people wrapped around his paw with his sweet tactics and adorable exterior, with the flowers of purple and green decorating his head. he has his beauty, but has his pricks- similar to a thistle. once he has you wrapped up, it's all about manipulating you- he'll get to your house, and makes himself get what he wants, since he's such a 'sweet' little plumie. if he doesn't get his way, he takes it, often through stealing. he might even have you fetch or steal things for himself. he's a true trickster. on the flipside, if you see through his innocent, fragile act and somehow get him to appreciate you, he's a funny plumerian with a huge ego and the biggest sense of humor. he could find a joke in anything. bartley is very ironic, thus calling himself 'thistle-whistle'. his teeth have a slight gap, making him slightly sound like he is whistling, which is why he gives himself a nickname. he will often give you his 'fairly taken possessions' if he feels like he should, and will keep and tell secrets, as long as you swear on your life. to wrap it all up, he's a manipulating, stealing plumie with a sense of humor.

item;; bartley sports an almost headdress-like crown of thistles and clovers. the base is leather, and is almost like a pilot's cap type of thing without the goggles. then, he had put clovers all over the two strap things covering his cheeks, and then, to shield his head from touches or pats, he has the rest of the hat, which covers his head, covered in thistles. nobody is sure why he wears it though, but it is probably just him being ironic- again.
friend and how they met; it was a grey march morning. the sky lacked color and the grass was browned to dullness. the sun hid behind greyscale trees. he had been tending towards the bush of thistles, despite seeing them as weeds- he felt he shared something with them. greyscale plumerians walked by, yet bartley still pretended to shine. a green, soft glow that would become menacing to anyone who dared to get too close. he was watching the same dull colors go by- occasionally fake colors, like he had decorated his exterior with, but he didn't expect a true, bright one to go by, leaving flashes in his eyes. they glanced to him and murmured something to their father. their father had the same fake glow that bartley sported- the one in the company of the glowing plumie seemed gloomy inside. but the bright one pranced up through his brownish lawn and joined him on the porch. he started to say something, but then the plumie's tail brushed him and he stopped. he looked at the radiating light of the plumerian. they never said anything, they just sat next to him and watched their father pad off nervously. they turned to him and gave them a glowing, pearly white smile. it somehow seemed brighter than the rest of them. bartley thought a second, scowling, but then finished his thought and looked away a second, something in his eyes that showed fake happiness- then gave them a grin, showing his awkward teeth. he concluded the thought as right. he was almost joyful.
-- he thought he had found a
true friend. and he was right.
