Koori is japanes for the word Ice, Ice Shavings, and Cold. Kiri is Japanese for the word Mist, foggy, and unseen. Often times Japanese names are read backwards, but in the sense of this universe, and how it's unconnected to humans in any way, to the Delta Velorum foxes, The repetitive 'K' and "r" sound makes it seem to be distant, cold and edgy.

Name Origin The locals gave it to her

As a consistent visitor to the Mistlyn Territory, Koori has obtained many names over the years. The Mistlyn Shadow is the most common one to be heard, however many have given her a more personal name to go with her frequent sights. The locals of Mistlyn call her a shadow in the mist, or in some cases she looks like a cold dark mist that comes and goes. earning her the name Koori Kiri. While this isn't her original name she has gotten so connected with the new one that she has simply forgotten her old name.

To most, a first impression is the most important thing when it comes to meeting others, but this is not the case with Koori. Koori Kiri is visibly known for the way her dark fur contrasts on the white snow, how quick she is, and how she always seems to be gone when you look away. Kiri is a mystery to most, seemingly like a cold character that keeps her distance from everyone because she doesn't think there worthy. To be the cool brooding warrior so to speak. This is not the case however. She seems to be the loyal, and honest type. Always looking for adventure and seeking out new mysteries. While she definitely isn't the bubbly loving sweat gal who says hello to everyone on the street, in fact she's antisocial, she is kind to everyone she does encounter. She isn't shy or distant, just finds seeing knew things her top priority. She has learned many things over the years, and while having a good contact is one of them, she isn't willing to go out of her way to meet everyone in the world.

Knife Name: Tribute

Physical Appearance: Purple Quarts Blade

As you look at the blade, it appears to be the width of the fox's maw at the most, and goes about six inches with a very sharp tip, but dull edges. the blade is about a centimeter thick at the flat edges where it is silver, a tiny bit higher on the copper ridges, and dips in several places in the Quarts part.

The Grip of the hilt has a copper, reinforced with silver at the base, and the pommel is entirely copper along with the base of the Guard. The hilt itself has special indents to carry with the mouth, or the claws. The Guard has special indents as well. These allow easy grabbing and pulling from other weapons and to stay in the sheath. The Blades base, where you cannot see, is made out of copper, however this is covered with a uniquely carved Purple Quarts. The base of the blade where it is thinner then the rest, the copper is thick acting as a Rain guard to support the thin part of the blade, and decorated with silver a crossed the middle of that base, but ends before the thicker part of the blade to she a bit more of the copper. The thin part is used for grabbing a hooking objects and opposing weapons.

The base of the thick section of blade all the way to the tip the copper is covered in purple quarts. It was cut professionally so that it could match the scarf that Mist wears, but also acts as a great reflect-ant to light. Through the center of the blade, where the quarts is flat, there is a melded silver piece that is bordered by copper at the tip and decorated at the base of it with bracket like indents. there are two other copper bordered pieces of silver that are also melded on flat sections of the quarts on both sides of this middle piece with space in-between. These have no decorations, and only go half way up the blade. Just above those two pieces are two special indents and above that there is space from the edges of the blade to the silver piece that is just purple quarts.

Knife History: ~

Koori obtained the knife by ordering it specially from a sort of blacksmith. After all, she is just an adventurer, and doesn't feel the need to fight anyone or cause violence. This doesn't mean she's the peaceful type, as she wanted protection from attackers, and a tool for survival out in the wild. Upon her explorations, she came a crossed a beautiful chunk of loose Purple Quarts in the Caves of different lands. She also had help obtaining silver, copper, and even steel. Many of minerals in which she found herself wanting to do something with. In the thought of it all, she found someone in the caves who was willing to craft her the knife.

It was sort of a love gift, but not really, from a todd who enjoyed her from a distance, and designed it to resemble her scarf and beauty. While even today she doesn't know or care that he liked her, she uses the knife quite frequently for many things.

Scáthach is on the quiet side, sticking to herself, not saying much, but
when she does, everyone listens to what she has to say. She's definitely
a tomboy, and makes friends easier with Todd's, and only a few close
Vixens. Scáthach loves the night, and prefers traveling alone when the
stars are shining about, and uses the moon as guidance.
Hɪsᴛᴏʀʏ ;;
Scáthach was born to small family, with no siblings to play with, which
forced her to go out and explore with her dad, thus leading to her
tom-boy habits. As she aged, she learned what she could about
everything, enabling her to become smart, strong, but also
sensitive to those around her. Her mother helped create the scarf
that she wears around her neck, and her father taught her how to
create her blade.

The blade is chipped gently from a translucent opal, and fastened
to a grey wood handle with three amethyst stones around the handle.
