Personality:
Talyn is what you would call... A smart aleck. He loves pointing out the tiny details people make, and regularly makes himself seem smarter than everyone. He laughs at other people's mistakes, and though he makes them too, he tends to disregard his own. All his peers describe him as smart, even more intelligent than adults. He's constantly learning and absorbing information, taking note of everything everyone does and says. He uses this to his advantage and often applies the knowledge as leverage when he tries to convince someone. He blackmails other viscets routinely, making them do his bidding.

Bio:
Ah, yes. The humble (not really) biography. Talyn's life started out like this. He was born in an unknown meadow in the middle of nowhere, where his parents decided to settle. The two viscets tried hard for a little viscling. However, they found out from their pack doctor that his mother was infertile, and the couple was banished. This was regarded as weak and unacceptable by the alpha pair, and they were sent to the meadow. They, giving up, went to a local shaman, who gave them the solution. He provided them with a potion the mother had to drink that night, and she would be with egg the next morning. It came with a cost, however. The offspring would have a curse, one foreign to the viscets. Nevertheless, the mates were overjoyed when the egg was laid. They searched high and low for a good place to raise it but determined that the meadow was the safest. Soon, the egg hatched, and a smaller-than-normal viscling was born. He had his father's tail and his mother's nose, as well as a perfect combination of both the parents' markings. What about the curse, you may ask? Here's where it comes into play. Months passed, and the viscling, which they dubbed Talyn, stayed the same tiny size. He would grow a couple millimeters, maybe less, every few weeks, and the father was getting worried. He returned to the shaman but was only given a few words before the witch doctor was shot down by humans. "It's what you chose," was what he came back with. Talyn worried that he was causing pain to his family, and ran away from his home. He found the pack his parents were former members of and joined them. The alphas didn't know he was the viscets' son, and he didn't know this was the pack his kin was banished from. He lived the rest of his life with them, though stayed a viscling and never grew.

Rabbit nose: I've never seen it used before. No, that's literally my answer. I want to see what it would look like on a viscet, I haven't bee around long enough to see it one. I imagine them to be quite cute though I'll never know that for sure until I see for myself (If I don't win, could you still make a viscet with this mutation?)

rare trait; docked/stub tail

Docked Tail: Being both a hamster owner and a hamster lover, the docked tail is one of my most favorite traits. This also works hand-in-hand with the rabbit nose, as they are both things that hamsters have. I've always wanted a hamster viscet, and if I do win an MYO ticket (tier 2 or above, of course), that will be the first thing I do with it.

Other than the fact that he's based on a hamster, he has a soft spot for cute things. A really big soft spot. He loves fluffy animals with large, bright eyes, and a hamster happens to be one of them. He especially loves dwarf hamsters, he thinks they're the cutest things on earth (no seriously, look at this fluffiness).

He also happens to be a tea fanatic, and though he really shouldn't be drinking black tea, he likes it anyways. He's not even aware that there's caffeine in it, he just adds a ton of sugar to mask the bitterness. He likes lemon tea the most, especially iced.

favorite food; Halfway between Cheetos and sunflower seeds

He's not the most healthy eater and tend to enjoy foods with salt in them more. He adores the cheesiness of Cheetos, as well as the sodium in it. He almost always licks his paw after eating them, and can finish a whole bag (family size) in a couple hours. Though he doesn't eat as many healthy foods, he has always liked sunflower seeds. They may be a bit hard for him to crack open, but the middle, as well as the seasoning on them, is worthwhile.

He's been surrounded by patterns his whole life but prefers simple designs. He likes ombres because they're simplistic, but is still something interesting to look at.

why did you chose those traits? I chose smooth horns & a snow leopard tail because I thought both traits would look good on the child line art and also because leopard tails appeal more to me than the standard tail or fox tail ;v;

why did you chose those traits? i don't know why but i really love stub tails. any kind of tail mutation really draws me in, and mane mutations are a close second (they are just so pretty and endearing that way!)i thought it would be sort of cute to have a short tail and longer hair, plus i've always wanted a stubby viscet :3

what are those his/her/their favorite? lorelai really loves anything mythical, but especially the lochness monster because she loves the water, and she also loves mysteries. her blanket is her favorite because she is a little bit lazy and loves to take little snoozes throughout the day all cuddled up with her blanket. she loves raspberries because duh, who doesn't? you can stick them on your fingers like little hats and they are sweet and pink and delicious. and she is sort of a tomboy so she prefers patterns that are not very girl such as chevron. she also of course loves all things nautical, and chevron is somewhat nautical, right?

extras i would totally fill this out, but i feel that i have to see the baby and get to know her more to actually decide what they are like. i do plan on her being very childish and naive since she is a pps and because the color palette seems bright and outgoing, i plan on her personality reflecting that.

why did you chose those traits?
For the uncommon trait I was deciding on either a mammal ear or minor mane edit, but finally decided on a minor mane edit, mostly because I don't know what kind of mammal ear I would want! Hair speaks for a lot of personality in the color, and style of hair. I love having the hair that just speaks a Viscet's personality right when you see it.
As for the rare trait, I have always wanted a tail mutation, and absolutely love stub tail ones. Although I figured that what would be even better, not having a tail at all! A whole back story could be made on how it's life was without a tail. They must be very clumsy since they have no tail for balance but I find that way too adorable!

why are those his/her/their or your favorite?
They are my favorite, for a few different reasons. The animal, its stunning colors and the two wires that hang off its tail really sparks my interest, I think they are really graceful birds along with their really not creative names. I find it funny that when they found this bird in the tropics all they thought to name it was "BLUE BIRD". Especially since the mating dance of these birds is so funny! At one part in their dance to attract a mate, they turn upside down and show what they are made of, shaking those tail feathers. (gif in form is of this) My favorite item is more of necessity than liking, although I did particularly like the pair of glasses I own currently. Glasses are one of the best inventions to be discovered by man in my opinion, they help almost blind people see! My eyes started out being bad at a young age so glasses almost seem unimportant, but every time I take them off I am reminded how much I really do need them. Food, oh glorious food. Oreo Balls are something I make myself. Its a very simple recipe and really all you do is mix crushed oreos and cream cheese then cover it in chocolate but the end result is so gratifying. And last but not least, patterns. Lace is very elegant but seems to dress up my normal attire a little too much as of now. I love having sleeves or the back with a tad bit of lace at the ends so the look isn't too overpowering. The detailed flower types are the best as well.

why did you chose those traits?: Minor Mane edits are so lovely on viscets, the hair can make them have character and it just pops! And for bobbed tail, it's just plain adorable. I've been trying my best to get my hands on a viscet with a bobbed tail. ;o;

why did you chose those traits?

first, the spikes. I chose these because I thought they looked amazing on #526, and I want a bb with those. They contradict her shy, loving personality, which prooves first impressions can be wrong.
the second trait I chose was a complex-hair edit. my reasoning behind this is that she loves to spend time in the sun. with not as much fur, she is able to enjoy the sun, rather than overheat.

why are those her favorite?

first, is the starfish. she loves how gorgeous they are, and how harmless they are. one of her favorite things to do is to walk along the beach, collecting starfish, and studying them. she then hangs them around her little beach hut.
for the item, her prized possesion are a pair of dark blue silk gloves. she found them while exploring near her house. they were a bit worn, but are now re-patched and ready to style.
as for her favorite food, she only recently discovered. she loves to eat fish, but one day she decided to try something new. instead of a trout, she caught a salmon. she baked it, and it was the best thing she'd ever had.
cross-hatching has a special meaning to her. when she was smaller, her claws would always scratch the ground. she soon began to intentionally patternize, and loved clawing in a cross-hatching manner.
