Seren, I'm sorry! I started off with a plain buckskin and kept adding genes and I didn't realise what I did until it was too late to undo all my work- the colouration was not deliberate I swear!!! ;n;
So I logged on to CS to see that the website is celebrating "Tell a Fairytale Day" today (be sure to pick up some of the adorable puppies made by Pluma). With my love for all things fantasy and magic, I couldn't help but get inspired and create this mare for the Cottonwood community!
This mare is a Friesian Sporthorse, meaning she has a mixture of another breed (in this case an American Quarter Horse) as well as Friesian in her genetics. Besides improving her athleticism, her AQH blood gives her a flashier, more striking coat than that of her Friesian lineage. However she still retains the flowing mane, tail and, though somewhat reduced, feathering of her graceful Baroque ancestry. This girl is truly the picture of sophistication and elegance, potentially excelling in equestrian sports such as dressage or western pleasure.
NB- I did want to make some fantasy, or at least some pretty dressage, tack for her, but I do have a lot of assignments to get through here at University sadly. However if the winner wants to we can discuss the addition of tack at a later date. I will probably charge a payment for it, but I will implement a discount.
~~~
To add her to your stables you need to fill out the form below. Now because this horse is to celebrate 'Tell a Fairytale Day' there are a few things you might want to take into account (because judging, MWUHAHAHAHAHA!!! >:D ):
> She doesn't have to have a fairytale-based show/barn name, but if you do use one, especially for the show name, you will get bonus points!
> For the 'Gif from OUAT' section, I want you to find me a gif from the ABC TV show Once Upon A Time. If you don't know about the show, it's basically where lots of fairytale characters, such as Snow White, Little Red Riding Hood and Rumplestiltskin, end up getting trapped in our world after a curse banishes them all from the fairytale world. It's not got the best writing and/or animation ever, but because of the fantasy and Disney references my housemates and I love it!
> Do you like The Ugly Duckling for its moral? Or perhaps you like the magic behind a tale such as The Frog Prince? Tell me which fairytale captures your imagination most and why!
> So the last bit may prove a little trickier for some people (which is why it's optional), but it's not called 'Tell a Fairytale Day' for no reason! You have to come up with your own short fairytale, using any characters, settings, morals and plot of your choice. It can be of any length and of any level of grammar. I will be marking any entries for this section mainly for their creativity and I'm really excited to see what you guys could come up with (I know there are some fantastic writers in the community!!!) You will get loads of bonus marks for attempting this section, so even if you don't feel like you're the best writer in the world please feel free to give it a go!
