This girl was running loose on a farm for week until we captured her. She has been dumped there and caused lots of trouble by killing livestock. She has a very high prey drive and can't be around small animals.

Orange sighed, biting at her nails. What was she even doing here? All her life she had been a cat person, at max having 7, and now she was signing a paper to adopt a, rather large, dog? Yeah, when Orange saw one on the street being walked she would often go over to pet it, but to own one? Blue, Orange's friend, had put her up to this. The boy volunteered at the shelter and begged her to take it in, Orange couldn't even meet the dog until now. The shelter had been reluctant at first, Orange had a cat living with her and this dog was known to kill smaller animals. But Blue already had it figured it all out. He had put up a gate in their shared house, between the 1st and 2nd floor. Something about the dog's case had softened the cat lover and she had given in, and Blue wanted this dog so much, and Orange knew she had no choice.
Orange finished the paperwork and handed it to the front desk lady. She was then led behind the desk and into the kennels. Blue was working today and couldn't get away from his boss, so Orange was alone. Through another door and into yet another room. "Here she is." Orange smiled politely as her guide opened a kennel door. Blue had tied a pink ribbon to it with the name Challah B. What an odd name. Challah was what they ate on Friday nights for Shabbat... Blue had an odd sense of humor. A white muzzle poked out with a pair of grey eyes. A minute passed as the two of them blinked at each other. Shaking her head, Orange stepped back as the guide helped the do- er, Challah out. He attached a blue leash and collar to Challah and handed her over to Orange. "She all your's now, just sign out and you can leave." Orange stood there for a moment, not really sure what to do, but then, as if in a trance, she signed out and brought to rather large dog out to her car. Challah was silent for the first few mintues, keeping her head on her paws.
