The small feline skittered across the beam of the roof, she snuck a glance up at her friends in front, they flicked their tails and blinked. They were waiting for her, she needed to catch up... Setting off at a brisk pace the skelecat crossed the beam to the other side, her friends were ahead yet again, their eyes lighting up in the darkness and almost glowing as they stared back at her. She padded forward and felt their fur brush against her shoulder. The air vent they had entered was weird, it was stuffy and dark, despite the ghostly glow set by the cats in front of her, it was a misused air vent, this part of the building had not been used for a very long time. The skelecat felt a web brush against her ear and she winced, not really keen on having to groom spiders out of her fur after the adventure was over. She pinned her ears back and continued on, her friends muttered something hushed along the lines of, "lets split up and try to find them..." and they rushed off, their glows fading off into the darkness. She shivered and lowered her tail, she padded along slowly, she could hear something, it might just be her friends, but... maybe... "shhh they're gonna find us!" she angled her ears forward and crept along the vent slowly, she peered down the grate into a very dusty room, she could see a disturbed path of dust leading around the room behind the old piano. The young skelecat grinned and scuttled along the vent, sliding down silently and crawling through the vent at the side of the room, her paws disturbed dust which swirled about around her, stinging her nose and making her eyes water. "I think I hear something, Shhh!" she could hear them, a wide grin spread across her face and she ducked behind the piano. "Boo!" she meowed and jumped around the side of the piano. Her friends jumped and then fell into a bunch, giggling. The small skelecat joined them and they rolled around in the dusty room, when they had stopped she stood up, "oh wow, my pelt is so dusty I might be knocking dust from it for months to come!" she smiled and one of her friends pitched in, "we should probably get back, if Mum finds out we're not asleep..." She nodded and they set off back for the nursery, dust swirled in their wake.
