aapine saved it from a cat one day and sewed up the scratched parts. they pet it when they're anxious.

aapine's best friend is olwen. as soon as olwen and aapine got past their shyness, it was obvious to aapine that olwen was one of the few plumies they were comfortable with. olwen never exhausts aapine or makes them feel unwanted, and it's always a relief for them to know that they have someone to fall back on.
when aapine’s feeling up to it, the two of them like to share hobbies with eachother. Olwen likes to try teaching aapine ikebana (although aapine tries, they're disastrous at it), and aapine likes to take olwen rollerskating.
