meaning: "wolf king"
info: Conri is the founder and leader of a group known (ironically) as "The Royal Army" The ranks in the group work more or less as in the city (prince, duchess, count etc.) The gang is mostly made of petty criminals with a bone to pick. They are neither malicious nor destructive, preferring to cause chaos. Conri is a surprisingly fair and merciful leader, his punishments while shameful will cause no lasting physical harm. The gang prefers to work in small groups to raid the aristocracy and upper class stealing expensive things like jewelry and fine silk which they will later sell for money on the black market.

Conri himself is bit of a mystery. He prefers to not become too close to others and seems to be quite capricious, smiling and joking one minute and snarling the next. Overall he seems pretty light-hearted and the type of guy who doesn't take things too seriously. For a leader, he's surprisingly involved in the day-to-day workings of his gang. However, he is notorious for his short temper and bad moods. When things go wrong, he'll sulk around for days, snapping at any who dare approach him. Gang members will quickly spread the word that "boss is in one of his moods again"

summery: so yeah, he's a classically built thief, meant to dodge hits rather than take them, okay attack, surprisingly high magic for a thief but still really low compared to an actual mage. I know thieves can't wield tomes and that this makes no sense by game mechanics (galeforce is a female-only ability) but I was more working with his personality vs game canon. Thieves tend to have pretty poor overall stats which are reflected in his. He just has good speed/skill so he can dodge things and hit x2 most of the time which sort of makes up for his low attack, defense/resistance, and health.

Conri slowly moved his hand forward hoping that the vendor wouldn't noticed him. He normally didn't like to steal from middle class citizens but he was starving.

"Hold it!"

Conri turned to see a guard grab him by the tail.

"Filthy thief, trying to steal something are you."

The vendor, attracted by the noise came over. Seeing Conri's thin and matted frame, she took pity on him.

"Sir, he's just a child. I'm sure that he wasn't trying to do anything wrong. He's just hungry."

The guard glared at Conri before deciding that the matter wasn't worth pursuing and walked away. The vendor gave Conri a hard look before tossing him several of the sticky buns.

"I don't blame you child, run along now, and try to not get yourself into anymore trouble."

several years later...

Conri was feeling good. He had sold the necklace he had stolen for a good sum and had brought himself some pastries both sweet and savory to celebrate. Suddenly, he felt a small tug on his belt, one he wouldn't have noticed if he hadn't made the same tug himself many times hoping to grab something before he was spotted. He shot out his hand closing it around a small, thin wrist. He looked to the side and found himself staring into a pair of scared, green eyes.

"P-please let me go! I swear I was just hungry."

The jaupi in front of him was small and thin, her brown fur was matted and dirty. Suddenly, Conri was reminded of himself several years before. He let go of her wrist.

"Here, take something. I know how it feels to starve and it ain't nice. I'm Conri, what's your name?"

She looked at him suspiciously before pulling out a bun and digging in.

"I don't have a name." she said in between bites.

"Well then we'll have to find you one."

"We."

"Yeah we, me and a couple of friends will be forming a group, sort of like a gang. We decided that numbers are useful on the streets, Just making it official now. So ... would you like to join us? We could use someone like you. I never would have noticed if I hadn't done the same thing any times."

She hesitated only for a moment.

"Sure."
