FORTUNE COOKIE NOTES.

Maxwell hoards fortune cookie notes since he opened/ate his first one. Max has always been a guy with a "happy-go-lucky" attitute. He has a fear of bad luck, always trying to elude bad situations and making the best out of good ones and is very superstitious. He does not only believe in ghosts and other supernatural creatures, but also in things such as karma. For him, nothing ever happening is really a coincidence, which is exactly why he hangs onto stuff that is supposed to bring luck to their owner. Previously he already collected stones, horseshoes and other things, but he only discovered the feel of true happiness when he started to hoard fortune cookie notes.
A friend of his, another Viscet that he had known for quite a time, brought him a few fortune cookies once, just because they are so delicious and he wanted Maxwell to try them too. Maxwell actually agrees to that - he also really enjoys to eat the cookies, but when he read the note on the small piece of paper inside the cookie, the sweet taste became second-rate. Just like others collect lucky charms just as pig figurines and shamrocks, Max started to collect the notes from inside the fortune cookies, because they give him a special feeling of good luck. He even sticks them into albums. And when he's sad or feeling unlucky, he takes out the albums and reads all the notes all over, until he feels good again.

What Do They Hoard?: Human children. Rue fancies herself a hero, as do some hoarders of animals. Her focus is children, but not just any kids. Her targets are usually under the age of five, and from either an orphanage, off the street, or from an abusive household. An old abandoned cabin is the place she keeps them in, supplying them with tons of blankets, toys, food, and sometimes, even stray dogs and cats. She currently has snatched fourteen children, all of varying ages, but none over the age of five. Rue does her best to take care of the children, though of course there are issues. She is a viscet, not a human. She can provide them with love, toys, food, shelter, and playmates, but there have been sickness' that she can not cure. After two casualties, Rue decided to start dropping sick children off on the doorstep of a hospital, only to snatch the child again later when it was well again. Being that she is hoarding the children, she does not wish to let them go, being a little possessive over them. Should another Viscet make their way into her territory she may become extremely violent with them, worried they would see her stash of children. She always tells herself that she is protecting the children, and that if she sees a good home for them, she will give a child to the family, but she never does.

What Do They Hoard?: Lukas is extremely fond of his hoard of souvenirs from foreign countries. He is a massive fan of traveling and other cultures and each individual object is as sentimental as another. His collection ranges from Pens from the Netherlands to bracelets from Uganda. He has everything.
His collection started when he little and his grandfather gave him a beautiful necklace with a piece of volcanic rock from mount Vesuvius in a little chamber on the pendant. He became fascinated with Italy and other places in Europe and managed to save up enough money to go to Rome a few years after he first received the necklace. There he bought many other objects and brought them back to his home and displayed them all on shelves he had especially crafted for that use. He managed to visit more and more countries in Europe over the following years and build up his hoard. He then decided to go worldwide and has made frequent trips to both North and South America, Asia and Africa. Ending up with a huge collection of items.

Nere hoards stuffed weasels. Or rather, zhe likes to call it "treasuring" weasels. Zhe could have chosen to collect any other type of stuffed creature, but zhe chose weasels. This is because zher favourite animal is the weasel, other than the wolverine and the otter (who both happen to be classified as weasels) Zhe tried to hoard real, living weasels, but that cost too much and she quit after 5 domestic ferrets. Zhe has all sorts of weasels, like black-footed ferrets, pine martens, and even a gigantic, clearly-not-life-sized weasel. Zhe has taxidermied weasels and toy weasels, and even some handmade weasels. Zhe names all of zher weasels, with cute names such as Poof or Squeak. Nere's living ferrets are still with zher to this day, with names coinciding with the 5 oceans.

Still, her smelly little horde tends to rub off on her and because of this she's anything but usual smell wise.
