Username;; bad little boy
Name;; Ari
Gender;; Agender
Mythological creature;; When Ari was younger, they were always terrified of one thing. The water. Why did it have to crash, smash, and boom onto the sand? Or the loud storms that accompanied it? They always snuggled up cozy into bed, wrapped like a burrito to mask the shaking. And every stormy night, their father would walk in, eyes soft, voice even softer. Despite the fact he was a hardened sailor, a seafaring Plume of grandeur, he always spoke in the kindest, gentlest voice to the biggest treasure of them all. His child. "Ari.." he would begin, as they glanced up at the worn face of their father, "Do you know why I named you Ari?" Of course, by this time, the answer was yes. It was something their father had told them countless times, every single stormy night. And that was often. After all, living next to the sea, the storms were more than frequent. How many times was this, the thousandth? The answer was always the same. Their name was Ari because it was taken from 'ChARYbdis', and therefore, they were brave. Fierce. Why, their father had seen Charybdis once-- out during a hurricane, munching up boats. He told his child, fire in his eyes, wonder in hers, "I tried to claim the lass, the vicious monster, with thousands of teeth-- yea, I even roped her(looking back, that was probably untrue), but she proved too ferocious." She recalled her father's vehement passion, how much he wanted to capture that creature and bring it to his child. And after so long, it clicked. Ari was brave, fierce, and strong. Like Charybdis. As they grew, much like their father, she became interested in the things of the water. Now, they spends her time sailing the seas, looking for the whirlpool with teeth, to finally finish their late father's conquest.

      Name;; hikaru - to shine bright
      Gender;; male
      Mythological creature;; Hikarus favourite mythological creature is the leviathan, a giant sea monster. He likes the sea and feels an inner connection to it with his spirit, so it's no surprise his favourite is linked with, you guessed it, the sea. This "monster". Or rather peculiar and beautiful creature has glowing eyes, much like this plumerians. When he looks at this creature, or at least images of it, he can see himself.

      The leviathan is known to have a nasty habit of destroying ships by accident, and this links to Hikaru very well through his connections and relations with not wanting to destroy things. Hikaru isn't good with word in and accidentally hurts someone when he doesn't mean to, it is simply out of his control. Hikaru also finds it fascinating that how this creation of a creature came to be is such a mystery. There are debates where they have debated who created it, such as Satan or God, although Hikaru is wanting to find out one day through research.

      The mysterious and shadowy feel of this creature also helps. He keeps quiet and stays to the shadows, or in levianthans case, the bottom of the sea lurking alone, rather than in packs.

      He feels related to this creature, like he physically links to it, like he was sent just to unlock the key to this mystery. He wants go see it, and learn more About it , so he can make himself more and more like it so he doesn't feel alone in the world, despite having many of his own species around him. He wants to know there is something out there that is exactly like him so he can relate to them and not feel alone since he fears hurting others or even being around others after everything. It's really something that keeps him happy.

Gender;;Male
Mythological creature;;
Cronus's favorite mythical animal is the fabled Hydra, many-headed water serpent. The offspring of Typhon and Echidna, when one of its heads was cut off another two new heads appear in place of the severed one. There are many different version of this beast legend but his favorite is the one from Greek legion where the hero Hercules must slay it as one of this twelve labors. He finds this creatures power is not only simple but very powerful at the same time. heads numbering from 1 to 100 and the fact the creature varies in looks from region to region makes him love this monster more. Sure it's not Dragon or Demon Hound but it's a creature who if one just says the word "Hydra" many instantly know of it and have their own unique version of this guy in mind.
He also enjoys drawing this beast fighting other mythical monsters like the Dragon or the Basilisk. He also drew images of places the creature cod live, like swamps and lakes.

Mythological creature;;
Her favorite mythological creature is the thestral. Kaz has always loved mythological creatures and her favorite part of reading the Harry Potter books was learning of new ones. She has always had a love of all things equine, so Thestrals fit right in. She loves their intelligence, loyalty, and the fact that not everyone can see them. She herself wouldn't actually be a able to see one because she hasn't seen anyone die, but that doesn't make her love them any less. She's generally drawn to things that are misunderstood because she is usually misunderstood herself, so she feels a sort of kinship. She also finds them beautiful, in a haunting sort of way.

Username;; laredo
Name;; Tillandsi - shortened version of the Genus name for Spanish Moss. Just because it fits him.
Gender;; male
Mythological creature;;
Although Tillandsi considers himself a mythological creature, his most favorite mythological creature is a leprechaun!! He cant explain why but every time he sees a rainbow he is on a hunt for the leprechaun with his pot of gold at the end. He thinks they are soo sneaky and secretive but are always happy and bringing people luck and good fortune. He hopes that one day he will be able to find one and become it's apprentice! To Tillandsi, leprechauns are like the most awesome little sneaks of mythological creatures ever! He wants to learn how they make people so lucky and how in the world do they get their pot of gold to the end of every rainbow? And how do they know where the rainbow is? Do they have a rainbow doppler or something? He is simply fasinated at how much they do for how small they are!! They are soo different from the other creatures and just the thought of a leprechuan makes Tillandsi want to jump with joy and click his heels together!
I used to be laredo

Username;; NightSouls
Name;; Torey
Gender;; Male
Mythological creature;;
Torey's favorite mythological creature is Fenrir
Basics:
Fenrir, the Nordic monstrous wolf, son of Loki and Angrboda. He had two siblings, Hel and Jörmungandr; the goddess of death and the giant snake. As a pup, Fenrir was easy to control, but as he grew he had to be chained up because of his massive destruction. In both the Poetic Edda and Prose Edda, Fenrir is the father of the wolves Sköll and Hati Hróðvitnisson. Also in both Eddas, Fenrir foretold to kill the god Odin during the events of Ragnarök, but will be killed by Odin's son Víðarr.
Looks:
He looks like a giant dire wolf, with monstrous fangs and claws. Normal wolf looking is all the “pictures” that exist of him. There are many variations of his fur color. Most are a latte brown, some are black and others are a husky like fur. In some art pieces he is pictured with ice shards coming from his back and chains on his wrists and neck. Other art pieces and games like Smite, show him as a lava and stone wolf being.
His sons:
Sköll is a warg that chases the horses Árvakr and Alsviðr, that drag the chariot which contains the sun through the sky every day, trying to eat her. His brother Hati Hróðvitnisson is the one that chases the Moon across the night sky, until the time of Ragnarök when they will swallow these heavenly bodies, after which Fenrir will break free from his bonds and kill Odin.
How did Torey knew about this creature? :
Torey is a nature and normal gamer boy, he plays war games that include some history or worldwide facts. Smite was the game where he tried his best to get all the forms of the cool looking wolf god. When he achieved them all, he started looking information about him. Torey ended up getting so enthusiastic about the whole idea of gods, that he read lots of the books. Percy Jackson did not hit him hard, but he recognized that it was well planned.
Why does Torey has Fenrir as his fave mythological creature? :
Torey feels rather amused by the idea of a huge destructive wolf, the total opposite of him. But he enjoys reading and discovering more about what could be the past of many species.

Name;; Jason
Gender;; male
Mythological creature;;
Jason's favorite mythical creature is the siren. When you think of sirens you might think of seductive mermaids but this in fact is not true. Sirens are really Half women half bird. He loves them so very much because of this common misconception. Along with the fact that one of his favorite authors Shakespeare is to blame for this mix up. Since he used them synonymously. The French are also to blame (in French sirens and mermaids are synonyms). He absolutely loves to correct people on this subject. Which can cause more than one fight.

What sirens truly are:
As Wiki so graciously put it

Wiki wrote:In Greek mythology, the Sirens (Greek singular: Σειρήν Seirēn;[1] Greek plural: Σειρῆνες Seirēnes) were dangerous yet beautiful creatures, who lured nearby sailors with their enchanting music and voices to shipwreck on the rocky coast of their island.

Jason is like sirens because he has a beautiful voice. He often attracts boys and girls at concerts and after a few days, weeks or months he crushed their hearts leaving them in the dust in a search for someone better. As nothing or no one is good enough for him. Sirens are also huge drama queens (just like Jason ) and could only live as long as no person could escape their watery grave. Humans just had to get closer by either throwing themselves off of the ship or steering their ship into the rocky cliffs.

Jason is named after one of the only humans Who weren't killed by the sirens. On his quest for the Golden Fleece Jason (the hero) out smarted the sirens by having his men put wax in their ears and having himself tied to the mast of his ship. He is only one of two Herod to have listened to the sirens call. The other guy was such a good musician his music was stronger than the sounds of the sirens saving his men.

Mythological creature;;
Styx's favorite mythological creature has to be the infamous guard dog of Hell, Cerberus. Hades' loyal three-headed mutt. It guards the gates of hell, preventing the dead from leaving. It is the brother of Orthus, a two-headed dog, Chimera, a beast with a head of a lion and a goat and a snake for a tail and lastly, Hydra, a multi-headed serpent, said that if one head is sliced off, two will grow in its place.
Styx loves the Cerberus because of its seeming loyalty towards guarding Hell and Hades. Unfortunately, the Cerberus was captured and brought out of the Underworld by the hands of Hercules but after being shown the Eurystheus, Hercules returned the Cerberus back though some said that the Cerberus escaped back on his own.

Name;; Neo
Gender;; male
Mythological creature;; The Wendigo (a creature based on native american mythology)
Neo is almost addicted of the Wendigo because the idea of a [human] flesh eating creature, that's either made of ice or has a heart out of stone or eyes frightenes him but also excites him. The fact, that Neo lives close to a huge forest doesn't help with that either, because every time he enters the forest or at least passes by he starts looking for the Wendigo but is also afraid what might happen if sometime there truly stood one. He loves to imagine the Wendigo as a huge, extreme skinny figure with far too long limps, deadly claws and fangs, antlers of a stag and the head of a wolf.

Name;; Kelby
Gender;; male
Mythological creature;; Kelby’s favorite mythological creature is Medusa. Others may think of her as freaky or scary but not Kelby he thinks her story was misinterpreted and that she was misunderstood because her life was basically wasted. When the Greek hero Perseus came along and slayed her he just wanted her head for a weapon he didn’t even think that he was taking the life of another even if she is immortal it just means she gets to spend the rest of her life reduced to a head turning random people to stone for others. Also her hate for mortals was probably caused by something someone must have done to her to make her mean and cold blooded. Athena was protecting Medusa by her the power to make any man who looked upon her harmless. Remember Medusa was pregnant with the twins Pegasus and Chrysaor when Perseus was hunting her head and she was betrayed by Athena because she gave Perseus the shield to defeat her and Perseus even rode Pegasus to kill a sea monster with her head winning him a wife. Now that you think about it who’s really the monster. She most likely just needed some help in the world, and Kelby wishes to learn from Medusa’s story and not make anything happen to others what happened to her. He believes all creatures have a right to life and that you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. So using Medusa as an example he never judges on an appearance and is always willing to lend a helping hand, he also tries to encourage others to do the same. He is very big on Greek Mythology as you can tell he knows Medusa’s story from top to bottom and reads it constantly as well as other myths but his favorite will always be Medusa’s tragically misunderstood story.
