General Info

Chrysaora Basilisk are the prevalent equine creatures that inhabit the world Lucent. They roam by the hundreds, using their unique hooves to score the uneven rock and track down their most vital source of nourishment; evil. The relationship between Chrysaora and humans is a complex one. Chrysaora vocalize like horses, but are also thought to have a syrinx much like birds do and have been recorded displaying a variety of sharp, avian sounds. Their eyes layer over with a dark, murky black until their normal eye color pierces through in a great ball of electric light, radiating toward their victim's open eyes and paralyzing them. The Glare is able to stop both human and creature, and after a few days, unique to other forms of basilisk, the paralyzed being transforms into a sea nettle.

Personality: this stallion is distant to say the least. he can come off as being very cold because of it which leads others to keep their distance. he's not scary or rude, but he's just one of those stallions who you wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of. exodus built up a wall around his heart a long time ago due to an incident that he went through when he was younger. he's very aloof and doesn't like to get emotionally involved in anything - in his eyes that is the only way to keep himself from getting hurt ever again. of course if there is anyone in need of help who happened to seek him out or ask for his assistance, he will do what he can but as soon as it's done he's gone; never wanting a thank-you or a reward or anything like that. sure, he doesn't want to see anyone get hurt and he'll do whatever he can to help those in need, but once that's done it's done and he doesn't want any involvement from there on out.

in a group situations he rarely likes to be a leader. being a leader means there will be lots of others putting their faith and trust in him which additionally means that if he were to screw anything up it wouldn't just affect him but all of those others too. when he can he prefers to just watch his own back or help from the sidelines if he really must. he's very level-headed and generally has a good idea of how to get out of a sticky situation so on occasion, when there is nobody else to turn to and the situation is dire, exodus will be called on for help. when it comes to humans exodus generally doesn't trust them all that much though he won't act harshly or aggressively for no reason, he'll more or less just stay out of their way. gaining this stallion's trust is a long and difficult process - he will not let you in easily and even when he does start to build up any scrap of trust he'll always be cautious, it's just something that one must learn to deal with.

though he might be strong and capable - exodus will always choose peace over war. he knows that sometimes conflict is unavoidable and often there must be a storm before all can be calm once more but that doesn't mean he enjoys it. he doesn't wish harm upon others and will try to avoid it where he can. he's definitely a complicated personality and sometimes it can be difficult for one to wrap their head around how exactly his mind works but patience is a virtue and this stallion is a valuable ally to have around (since he doesn't tend to use the word 'friend' very often)
