Personality:
Rhiannon's personality is as fiery as her very living essence, and she is a spit-fire to say the least. She is very clever, and has a clever way of thinking; a quick and devious wit, well fitting with her devious nature. She learned from a young age how to charm and manipulate others to get what she wants, but she tries to balance this with good deeds and righteous behavior.
She is very impulsive, having a difficult time controlling her urges once they arise. She also has trouble controlling her fiery temper, easily boiling out of control, though never over petty reasons. She is hard and firm, her opinion fixed with stubbornness once her mind is made up, much to the frustration of others. She does not consider herself to be a bad Voxxie, but is instead misunderstood.It's hard to take the heat. It's hard to lay blame. To fight the fire. While we're feeding the flame.
Rush - Second Nature
She may be quick tempered, devious, clever, heated, and impulsive, but she is the column of support for herself and others when needed. She is fixed firm against all odds despite being unable to maintain or escape the chaos that comes across her life. She's always there for others no matter what, but she doesn't stay forever. She'll be there as long as she's needed, but she will be gone when her work is done. With strength and resilience as her mindset, naturally, her own feelings and emotions are most often her worst enemy.
Things that would place extreme stress on other Voxxies merely leave her a little shaken instead; meaning whatever situation she's in, she'll march out ten times stronger than before.
She is often confusing and can seem dual natured at times, being devious and underhanded one moment, but righteously doing whatever it takes to right her wrongs and clear her conscience the next. She is suspected to have more than one personality, but some believe her personality is just so broad that you see different aspects of it at different times.
She's somewhat lonely, but doesn't often seek out companionship for fear of hurting others with her fickle powers and her fiery personality. Despite this, many want to get to know her and be close to her. There's a warmth that draws others to her but there's also fear and a risk of being burned.
She has a certain aura of mystery about her. She makes you want to learn so much more about her, yet at the same time others don't want to get to close. If not burned by the heat and flame she carries, then others may find themselves burned by her witty and charmingly devious nature.
While she takes her position as a deity that holds the power of possible catastrophe with great respect and cautiousness, this is not to say she can't be playful. She sometimes shows a quite childish side and some of her antics can be rather hilarious to witness. She can be larger than life with an adventurous attitude, warming the coldest heart to a melted puddle. Despite this fact, it's best not to test the embers due to her impulsiveness and quickly heated temper.
Her fiery nature is also an indication of her vast creativity. Her imagination manifests itself in the most unique ways, and she loves to express that creativity by sculpting lava into something to harden and make a piece of art, and by burning patterns, designs, or whatever else her mind desires into stone or flammable surfaces. Despite being unable to see her works of art, she appreciates the texture and the way it feels. She knows other creatures can see her art, and she strongly hopes her clever pieces interest them.
Those who know Rhiannon well know her as a wonderfully courageous and lively being. She is influencial, self-sufficient, spontaneous, and possesses a tremendous amount of wit. In contrast to this, she also possesses an inferno of deep rooted anger toward many things. However, any anger is NEVER taken out on the innocent. Usually she throws a bit of a fit, but after she vents that anger she calms down.
She has a heated passion for the things she loves and holds dear, from her works of creativity to the few friends she has. Those touched by the fire of her soul look at her as an inspiration, certainly for her strong adherence to solid belief, but also a strong hatred towards injustice.
If there's a down side to her strong influence, it's that she can be overly strident in getting her way, often using devious tactics to get what she wants. She can come across as abrasive and rather forceful. Selfishness and an overdeveloped ego can also be seen as part of this fiery individual's darkly shadowed side, though it never comes about for long.
She carries a communicable strength, and she is self-assured, creative, and can be fun to be around. When she gets a bit too feisty to touch, it is recommended that bystanders keep their distance until a cool-headed, icy counterpart can bring the spit-fiery heat to a simmer.
She will not ask for help, even if she knows she needs it. She strongly prefers her independence, which is why she can never be kept in one place long. Like a fire, she's constantly on the move, spreading to the farthest reaches of the world.
She mostly uses her power to grow and shrink for good - only when she needs it- but occasionally she does get a bit out of hand and abuses her power. But she has a knack for always finding clever ways to get out of trouble.
Much like a dragon, she appreciates and even obsesses over things of value despite being unable to see them. She likes to collect gold, gems, crystals, jewelry and antique items she cannot burn. Her favorite pieces are two necklaces, and you can always find her with one or both of them on.
(These necklaces actually belong to me in real life, and I also wear one or both at all times ^-^)
She collects and hoards all valuable objects she finds, and only the most special voxxies who find favor with Rhiannon get to see her priceless, precious collection. If you're incredibly lucky, she may just give you one as a gift. A valuable gift from her should be realized and viewed as an absolute honor, because rarely ever does she part with a valuable item. Her necklaces, however, she will never part with.

A short story:At first I was scared. I won't try to be dishonest in regards to that fact. When I first discovered what I was and would become. What I could do... it built a fear of myself residing in my heated soul, feeding the dangerous fire that grew from a flame within me
Not the physical fire that lapped at my legs and occasionally burst forth from my mouth when I got angry. Before I learned to control it. Before I learned to master the gifts I'd been blessed, or cursed with. But rather, the fire that burned inside me, fueling my devious and passionate soul. I was trouble in more ways than one, but I paid for my misdeeds.
My physical abilities not only got me into trouble when I misused them. They had no little price on them. I burnt entire forests to the ground, left nations of ash and cinder wherever my paw steps fell. I promised I would control it. I promised the forest fires would stop. But I couldn't extinguish the flames lapping at my feet, consuming my legs in a dancing fire that was harmless to me, but not to the earth I walked on.
I began to hate my fire. I wanted to extinguish it but I couldn't. I was always there for others, so why wouldn't they help me put out the flames? However many streams and puddles I jumped into, they always came back, they never went out. As big as my true size was in comparison to the rest of my species, everyone around me made me feel small. I made me feel small. I felt as though there were something wrong with me. I needed to feel big again.
So I left the fragile leafy forest for a rocky terrain that would suit me. A place that didn't catch fire, and spewed hot liquid stone from beneath the earth. Here by these active lava floes, l grew stronger, both in the strength of my powers and the strength of my mind and soul. Who was I to deny what I was? To shut out my potential in favor of the world's demands? Never. I was meant to burn freely, and warm the earth.
The more time I spent in my land of rock and lava, the stronger my inner flame became. It stoked and burned until it heated to incandescence, bringing a new strength to my soul. Not only was I physically unstoppable, but I became a column of support for myself. I was free. I was able to soar like the Phoenix I knew I was inside.
What can I say? The fire called to me once more, so the fire I became.
Her Anthro Description:
Rhiannon's anthro version is the same as her 4-legged version (same powers, same general design and make up). She still has flames lapping at her legs and arms that never go out unless something is put around them to cut off the oxygen to the fire. But she has no choice but to let it burn freely because when the fire is deprived of oxygen and out, it is excruciatingly painful for her. Like the feeling of having blood flow cut off to to some part of your body, as well as having frostbite.
The clothing her anthro form wears is specially tailored to suit her abilities, and anything she wears is completely and 100% fire proof. She wears a mesh shirt adorned in fire proof crystals and chain-linked mesh pants that are also completely fireproof. The jewelry she wears is also made of fireproof materials, or has some sort of magical property that ensures it will not burn or melt.
Because her clothes and accessories are in constant direct contact with her body, they grow and shrink as she does. This does not work on other Voxxies, and she is unable to grow and shrink anything but herself and the clothing attached to her.
In the picture above, she has a head of curly red hair to represent her fiery nature. But in the other artworks I have of her, she has hair that is actual flame. I preferred this to regular hair, but I'm still uncertain about which one suits her more. With further experimenting I should soon come to a concensus.
She does not wear shoes or boots because they cut off certain areas of the fire to her legs and toes, which is quite painful. She prefers to be barefooted and free. The mesh pants are chain linked and fashioned in a way that the flames can burn freely through/between the mesh.
Why I want this Voxxie, and what I will use her for:
I've always had somewhat of a deep rooted fascination for fire and I often got myself into trouble for it, I won't lie. There's just something hypnotic about staring into the patterns of warmth created by the flickering flames. Accompanied by good stories and reminiscence, a good campfire or bonfire becomes perfected
I was a huge fan of the Avatar TV series growing up, and always sided with the fire nation, or played a character in the games I used to play with my brothers as a kid. (To be honest, I thought this was an Avatar inspired Voxxie at first, and I got real excited. ^-^'). Flame was just suiting to me and my personality, and I was drawn to this Voxxie immediately.
I have two fire necklaces, (the ones she wears). The brown one has a fire emblem on the back of it, and the other was a gift from my dearest friend because of my spit-fiery personality, and fascination for fire. (Pyrotechnics especially.
)
And I'm not at all going to lie, I'm a sucker for both fire powers, and Voxxies with powers. Mostly due to my love of fantasy, magic, and the unknown.
I've used my knowledge and personal experience of fiery, devious, and clever personalities to form a fitting personality for this character. If I win her, I will be using her in a number of ways, including, but most definitely not limited to:
Role-playing: I LOVE to roleplay, and as a writer as well as a narrator, roleplay not only is incredibly fun, but it also gives me inspiration and feeds my creativity, as well as building my skills and experience. It also helps me bond with my roleplay partners and form deeper connections and friendships through the characters we play. I simply know this Voxxie will not only be a suiting rp character, but one I will never get tired of using. She would definitely make rp more fun and exciting for me and my peers, and she would really open up a lot for my love of fantasy-elemental roleplaying.
Stories: As I mentioned above, I'm a writer, and I plan to become a published author one day. Until that day comes, I would use Rhiannon in my stories, especially my Voxxie story (No spoilers, sorry.). I would also continue to develop her as a character through my writing to bring her to her full potential, and make her the best she can possibly be.
Artwork: I love to draw, especially in the area of make believe and fantasy. I would use her in whatever ways my inspiration dictates (while still sticking to rules of course). I may also be able to use her to draw more interest to the Voxxie community, and help the species grow and expand through drawings.
And those are only the basics. Surely I could discover more ways to use her than those I've described. I simply can't name all the possibilities off the top of my head. She so far is probably my favorite Voxxie I've tried out for, and I hope my art, form, and determination suffice and please this amazing Voxxie. :3

The Voxxie of Fire
Nearly 25 times larger than the average voxxie (see comparison in the ref above), the Voxxie of Fire is a strange voxxie, to say the least. She is very clever, but extremely devious. She can shrink in accordance to her needs - she can be the size of other, average voxxies to fit in, if need be - but she will never grow larger than her current height and weight. She also has fire licking at her paws, and this fire oddly seems to never extinguish. To win this lovely and rare creature, you simply must fill out the form below, and please this deity with creating a lovely, finished form. Who knows? You might just be able to capture her heart. Blumoonwolf won Voxxie #81 - Alazne. In that form, Blumoonwolf wrote this lovely little story, and in that story, one of her original ideas came forth and inspired me. It is quoted below for your convenience.
