Star bringers are very small rabbit/dragon-like creatures. They transport these "star seeds" all over the Galaxy and then drop them in areas with no light. The star seeds quickly expand once dropped to become actual stars. While as seeds, though, stars are very fragile, and must be held with their extremely soft tails
SBs use this liquid made from star extract to be able to move across the galaxy. They're born with empty containers of any shape above their head, and are filled with star stuff when they go out on their "jobs". Without the star stuff, they won't be able to move so fast or so safely. If their containers break while on the middle of a "job", they're bias ally doomed unless some other SB comes and helps.
