Paint-Tailed Pythons(PTP) are a unique breed of pythons that have paint seeping from their tail tips. PTP tend to be slightly smaller than their close cousins, ball pythons, females being around 2-3 feet long and males 1-2 feet long. Hatchlings are dramatically smaller at only 5 inches long.
Pythons tend to be quite intelligent, and PTP are no exception. PTP tend to be quite shy when first introduced to their owners, but will warm up quickly and soon become inseparable. PTP have exceptionally long lifespans, and have been known to live for upwards of 60 years.
PTP Name: Echo
PTP Gender: female
PTP Rarity: common

How to Calm Her: She always get's fired up, but honestly I still love her. Of course I have to move slowly towards her, she tends to be a bit skittish and hates fast movements, unless it's her dinner of course. I speak to her as I walk towards her, trying not to show any hostile behavior and I keep my hands low knowing she dislikes being grabbed or really touched. When I earn her trust I sit down, taking the frozen mouse from my pocket and I give it to her. She loves food, so it usually calms her down pretty well. If she lets me I will gently stroke her, but as soon as she hisses I withdraw and give her privacy, because we all need to cool off.

How to Calm Her:
Echo is frightened easily of large objects, or something that she has never seen before. The best way to console her is to hold her near your neck and allow her to wrap herself around you like a scarf. The warmth is soothing, and the deep vibrations that the human voice makes often lulls her to sleep.
