Personality;
Simply enough, the base of Rudolph's personality is a built by an grumpy horse. Even when he was a tiny foal. It was as if an old grumpy stallion was actually inhabiting Rudolph's mind.
Rudolph is quick to jump to conclusions, and a sharp tongued tongue--firing off harsh remarks, sarcastic snaps, and just outright crude humor. A friend for him is a rare occurrence, as many tend to swerve and stay out of his path without a word or whisper to him. He'd become an isolated young colt in his own home, and the rotten egg luck stuck to him like glue.
He has an over active imagination, which took his mind to imagined lands or incredible fables that could be filled of wonders, that would eave him hypnotized for hours. Or they could contain some of the most gruesome nightmares, leaving Rudolph shaking like a leaf.
Rudolph is also commonly known for his inner thief--and sometimes he doesn't even know it himself! He's known for stealing anything from food, to bicycles. Anything he can carry or drag off on his own is game.
Rudolph is easily stressed, and it never ends well for his weight. In the end his coping method is just to eat the nearest thing to him, but with help he's been able to loose the weight and find other ways to deal with stress, even if they don't help his charisma like his preferred methods.
Besides the poor three quarters of what makes up Rudolph on the inside, there's just a sliver that shows that he's not so bad after all. But he's no teddy bear either. He's not some angelic guy because of this little sliver, but he's certainly not a pure hell sent demon bent on making others miserable.
Despite all these negative traits, Rudolph is a loyal stallion to those he's become close to him. He will do nothing to hurt them if at all possible,and often wants what's best for them. It's in his blood and nature to protect his friends with his own life, he's not terrified of giving his life for someone else--but only to close friends.

History;
Rudolph was born to a farmer in Kentucky, having little natural knowledge of the rest of the world because of this limitation. Two days after he was born, a very rich fellow offered a large sum of money for Rudolph, invested in his unique coat color. His markings would make him an attraction to his new home, and a bit of a celebrity. Within two weeks of living at all, he was surviving off of a bottle of milk every four hours, alone in a cold and new home.
He hadn't been born with a red nose, in fact his was perfectly normal looking. In winter when the air is dry and cold, Rudolph's skin suffers from it. He was born with a skin condition that makes all the spots with little to no fur extremely vulnerable. In the summer his nose will burn until it blisters, and in the colder seasons his belly and face will dry up like little deserts.
The red appearance isn't from blood, though. It's from irritation, and is usually obvious after lotion is put on. During his first winter living at Paradise Pines, people started to notice the miserable state his skin was in, and veterinary help was sought out in his favor.
It was an ongoing joke that fate would have it that his nose would be red in one way or another because his name is Rudolph. He became known as the stable grump after just a few months because of how irritated his skin always was. He would always pin his ears at passerby, trying to keep their hands off his face. The holidays were a miserable time for him because of this, and he never found himself able to be happy during them.

Nosebleeds;
Nosebleeds are common in winter, and next to nothing helps. The blood isn't coming from his nose directly, but from eczema inside his nose that is so dry that it bleeds. About all that can be done is try to clean it up and put more lotion on the irritable areas, because Rudolph won't tolerate hands being near his face for very long at all.

Relationships;
Few relationships can last long, or even form with this grumpy stallion. But it's not impossible as long as the other has a lot of patience and thick skin. That exact stallion would be Captain. He took his time around Rudolph to befriend him, and give him someone to talk to and rely on. Cap had always been someone to look up to--a strong stallion with a heart of gold, who never put himself first and always thinking the best of others. Someone always going into something with a plan..well, most of the time at least.
It was a bond made with a titanium string. Over time the two grew only closer, even if they had rough moments along the way. Plenty of fights tore the two apart for long periods of time, leaving Rudolph more agitated than usual, and Cap a silent shell. Rudolph finds solice in the angry winter months when he's with Captain.
Other than Cap, Rudolph's only friends with two stray canines that hang around the barn for shelter and free scraps. The dogs' names are Sawyer and Jacob, and they're two peas in a pod. Before Rudolph met captain, he would spend hours watching the two, and quietly interacting with them when no one was looking. The two dogs would bark, and pounce around in front of his stall door, entertaining him for hours.

Personality.

This youngster appears to be very methodical, patient, and persevering. He has an idealistic, sensitive, and artistic nature, but is usually unable to find a natural outlet for these qualities and lacks spontaneity and vision. He's fussy over little things, very set and stubborn in his attitude. His life is filled with hard work without the opportunity to realize his ideals; this may cause him to become very repressed and emotional. A desire for heavier foods could cause growths, constipation, or rheumatism later in life for him, so it's important that he maintain a very light diet.

Rudolph wants to help their fellow man, but lack imagination and tend to become involved in practical, methodical undertakings in which he must be patient and attentive to technical detail. Whatever he does to help others is of a practical and physical nature, for he finds it difficult to show sympathy, generosity, and tenderness. His tendency to be critical and overly-fussy in personal matters causes many problems in close associations and unhappiness in others around him. Conflicting emotions and desires create frustrations which have a serious effect on his health, and tension centres itself particularly in the region of the stomach and intestines. Indulgence in heavy foods also aggravates this condition, only worsening the need for a lighter diet.

Personality

Rudolph is kind of the awkward turtle in the herd. Being the only stallion he has to put
up with a lot of hormonal mares so he has become quite the damage control expert.
He is quite a submissive stallion because he is used to being bossed around by Player
and Iykan, but he has very good judgment and is fiercely adoring of his entire herd
no matter how ill tempered they are on any particular day.

He is patient and kind but also has a very sassy blunt side to him. He has a sharp tung
and can be a little dim witted at times. This young guy is always quick with a joke or
good at making an absolute fool of himself for the sake of making others laugh. As it
was mentioned earlier he is kind of the soft sponge that gets tossed between the
toiling herd members but he doesn't mind. He doesn't like to see them quirreling so if
he thinks there is something he can do to stop them he will.

As for interacting with equids outside of his herd Rudolph is quite awkward and unsure
of himself. but his sweet personality and amusing clumsiness usually makes up for it.
especially since a lot of equids find his awkwardness adorable. He is like the runt of
the litter; even though he is lacking social skills everyone is naturally attracted to him.
Once You accept Pudolph into your life he is there for ever, he considers his friends to
be his family and will often refer to them as his siblings.

History:
Ru Grew up on a reindeer farm, He considered all the reindeer to be his friends, but
none of them really paid him much notice. The reindeer were raised mostly for meat
however a select few were kept to celebrate christmas and were trained to pull a sled
in parades and such. Rudolph dreamed of the day he might be able to join them in the
parades, but ever year he was left behind. Sadly the day he did get to lead the group
of reindeer a terrible thing happened!

a TERRIBLE loud noise spooked the young horse and he bolted, dragging all the smaller
reindeer with him. He slipped on the ice and struck his nose on the float in front of him,
leaving it permanently marked for the rest of his life. His owner decided that it would
be best for him to not be apart of the parades anymore and he was gifted to Vertigo
Stables for christmas

He joined the herd a few years after the original eight. At first, he was terribly self-conscious. He suffered from low self-esteem because he had an odd red nose. It wasn’t until Santa recognized his rosy bulb as a beacon of light that he was ushered into his role as leader of the herd. Because his nose glowed, he was able to lead Santa safely around the world, on the snowiest of nights...and other reindeer agreed that Rudolph just had to stay with the herd. Now, when Rudolph isn’t helping on the sleigh ride, he loves to play Hide and Seek with the other reindeer. He has the advantage, though. He can light up dark places effortlessly and find the other reindeer every time.

This young tolter was born different, but born for greatness. His nose a cherry red, as if it was cold out and he blew his nose one too many times. A simple difference, but one that meant a great big deal to the other foals. They teased him, called him names, and never let poor Rudolph join in any of their tolter games.
