Black's Name: Friday (if I ever get around to giving Midnight a last name, he will have that as a last name too)
How they lost their parents: Friday and (___) lost their parents in a flood. It swept through the town, demolishing the houses and ultimately sweeping the twins away from their parents. Alone and afraid, they feared the worst. So, they left. Friday is partly at fault here. He is pessimistic, and believed the worst. They don't even know for sure that their parents are dead. But they do know that they're gone.
How they met their new parents: The two met Midnight in another nearby town. Cold and hungry, they were preforming in order to earn some money. Friday would sing sometimes or do a double act with his brother at times. When he wasn't preforming, he'd pickpocket, and the same went for his brother. It was all they could think to do. That day was a day they were preforming together. It was actually Midnight's daughter, Katie, who spotted them first. She begged her father to give them something, and Midnight ended up offering them shelter. This went on for awhile till he finally just decided to adopt them into the family. It took awhile for Friday to open up to Midnight, and it took a lot of patienxe from Midnight, although he normally lacks it. It was Katie who opened it up. That extrovert Clued just wouldn't give up. She made Friday feel like he had a place where he belonged again, becoming his best girl friend. She saw past his dark exterior and surface personality, and took the time to dig deeper. She saw something in him no one else did. Slowly, he opened up ro them, and that's when Midnight officially offered to adopt them. Amethyst, Midnight's wife, hasn't exactly been consulted on the matter. Midnight's been raising them without having her parent them, though this may change if she would like to play a role in their lives.
(Katie and Midnight are mine. Amethyst is not, and if I win I will ask her owner if they would like her to be an adoptive mother or not)
