It was almost noon, and Apollo had decided to go on his way to enquire about some lunch. He walked into the kitchen of his house and saw his father in the room. He sighed, knowing he would probably regret his decision to ask his father, but continuing anyway.
"Hey dad, I'm hungry, when will lunch be ready?"He enquired. For a moment, his father was silent, before he thought of something.
"Hi hungy, lunch will be ready in five minutes, I'm dad." Came the response. Apollo tensed up, his eyes narrowing. He could practically hear the grin in his father's voice. He groaned in an irritated manner, however he accepted the answer either way.
"Thanks, dad."He muttered sarcastically, before turning to retire to his room, a pain in his body from the awful nature of that joke.
Apollo glanced down at the deck of cards he was holding, his eyebrows furrowed in concentration. He poked out his tongue, then standing up straight and turning to his imaginary partner. However, as he tried to fan out his deck, he managed to drop them all over the floor and he gave a yelp of embarrassment.
"Polly can't stand dad jokes, they make him hurt inside"
"Polly Tries a bit of magic"
"Polly tries his hand at cooking, and fails, its instant ramen by the way."
