Why should they be chosen to be the adoptive parents? What makes them ideally suited for taking care of this child?: right, so
-of course they would be very loving and supportive of the kid
-they have a daughter, so they already have some experience, [blank] will also learn how to socialize with others of their age
-good balance between freedom and restriction, won't be spoiled, but won't be given nothing
-they won't deal with [blank]'s bratty attitude for too long, so [blank] will eventually learn to respect others and how to be polite

Design requests: dark brown, bright gold accents, HxH has a really good ost alright..

      Name:
      I'd like to wait, please.

      Gender:
Probably female, but I'd like to wait, please.

      Adoptive parent:
      lucas.'s Kyar.

Why should they be chosen to be the adoptive parent?:
Because something about this little Plumerian has touched Kyar's heart in a special way.
At first, he had never even thought about adopting an orphan child. Of course, it wasn't
something he'd dislike, being the kind, passionate soul he is. But adopting a child wasn't
necessarily something he wanted, either. But he never dwindled on it because he never
had to before. That is, until he met x. That day was a day he'd never forget. It all started
normally, with no hints that anything out of the ordinary would happen. So Kyar started
his day off normally. He decided that'd he take a walk. Little did he know that this walk
would change his life forever. It's funny how little things made big differences, isn't it?
He threw on a scarf and headed out. A light breeze picked up his scarf and played with
it, and then it messed with his fur. A little shiver went down his spine, but a delightful
one. It felt so nice out, and it made him want to go walking every day. He opened his
ears and his eyes to everything around him, taking in the beauty. The leaves had begun
to change colors, and a few loose ones had already fallen. Birds chirped happily, as if
they had been singing just for him. Yes, he defiantly wanted to go walking more often.
Suddenly, a sharp, painful whine interrupted the peacefulness. The chirping stopped as
the birds scattered, frightened by the noise. If he was honest with himself, Kyar was a
little frightened, too, and was about to leave until he heard the whine again, but this
time, the whine was full of fear. This whine made Kyar's heart melt, and abruptly he
turned back around and searched for the cause of the sound. What he saw made him
melt even more. A young Plumerian had been hiding not very far from him. When he
approached, she jumped, frightened, then curled up in a tiny, shivering ball of fluff.
"Shh, there's no need to be afraid," Kyar crooned, curling around the tiny thing. Her
fur was as cold as ice, despite it feeling nice out. He took off his scarf and threw it
around her. "What's your name?" Kyar asked. "x-x," x stammered. "Where's your mom?"
Kyar asked, unsuspecting of what was coming next. "I-I d-d-don't have o-one," x cried.
Kyar almost leapt into the air in surprise. Had he been cuddling an orphan? "Your dad?"
He asked, gulping. "N-no," was all x could say. Kyar could only stare at her in disbelief.

What makes them ideally suited for taking care of this child?:
After discovering the orphan, Kyar took her home and asked lots of questions.
He felt bad for asking a kid so much, but he had to know what happened. What
really happened was that her mother had died giving birth and she never knew her
father. She had been caught by some kind of animal control and was treated horribly
at a pound, so she somehow managed to escape, and she had been searching for a home
ever since. Kyar cried throughout the whole story, and he didn't waste a second to cuddle
her up in his arms. "I'll take care of you," He whispered. x cried in happiness. After a moment,
Kyar realized what he had said, and started to take it all back, until he looked down at x, which
changed his mind. But he was glad that he did, because him and x turned out to be great friends
as she grew a little older, and they had matching personalities. Kyar taught x how to cook and draw,
and x always came up with the funniest and weirdest stories. Kyar knew she'd be a great writer someday.
Because they fit so well together is why, but also because they have some opposites, too. x can be a little
cocky, weird, and a little sassy at times, which can annoy him, because she'll only act this way around him.
She's too shy to act this way around anyone else.

Please note that "x" is the orphan Plume's name.
And the image above is by me, and the grey Plume is the orphan.
She isn't colored in because she doesn't have a design or color yet!

      Design requests:
I'd like you to take some of this picture's color decorate her fur.
As for a design/pattern, I'd love something that has to do with deer.

Why should they be chosen to be the adoptive parents? What makes them ideally suited for taking care of this child?:
When you find someone you love, there is no denying the fact that you will do anything for that person; whether it be something silly, or something serious. Often times, we find ourselves in precarious and unpredictable situations, just to make our 'better half' happy.

Either way, dangerous, simple, or down-right humiliating, when your loved one needs you, you are there for them.

When Dorian and Jace heard about the amazing opportunity, to bring a child into their life, they were almost sick with anticipation. As they arrived at the adoption clinic, there was a surprise, as the little one sat outside in the play yard, not wanting to move from the shaded area. This of course was troubling to the jubilant, and more than looking-forward-to parents. After many hours of cooing and pleading, the young one still sat, unmoved by their words.

Image

An idea came to Jace, mid sentence. Without another word, he made his way home, accidentally leaving Dorian at the clinic. In his rush he grabbed his old and definitely out of tune guitar. With quick pace, he headed towards his family. The young boy still sat where he left him, not a thing out of place. Aside from Dorian's questions it was silent, and all eyes were on Jace.

He sat very still in front of the bush that the child hid under. Not having played in so long, Jace gulped and hoped for the best.

click!

"Well I won't back down, no I won't back down
You could stand me up at the gates of hell
But I won't back down.

There was a swift rustling under the leaves in front of him. He looked up, his kind eyes searching in front of him, though the young kid was no where to be seen. Looking down, a small fur ball sat snuggled in his lap. Though feeling quite accomplished, he kept playing.

"Gonna stand my ground, won't be turned around
And I'll keep this world from draggin' me down
Gonna stand my ground and I won't back down."

-----

It was a cold Monday morning and the boys were getting ready for a typical day at the office; Jace prepping for an animation project, Dorian testing his vocals, and their little boy still sitting in his bed, avoiding the school day ahead of him.

-----

Their little guy is very sick with the flu, Dorian does impressions of his favorite cartoons.

you can tell he's mine actually. I don't know why he isn't like that around others though. He's shy sometimes.
It's weird. It's like he can tell how people are going to react around him. He's strong-minded as well, which is
great. He's like me in that sense; we both want what we want. I couldn't possibly tell you about his entire
personality because, well, I mean, thats just impossible. There are so many beautiful little quirks to him
that you just can't forget. What I can tell you is that he's the most amazing kid I've ever met."

I know that I didn't expect to get such an awesome kid. He's just the perfect combination of Jace and I. He's charming and high-minded just like Jace. If they looked alike you would easily assume he was a twin or
something of the sort. He's so friendly to everyone he meets. Maybe it's because i'm
his parent, I don't know. I'm just so amazed at how lucky we are to have him. He's
smart and elegant. He's everything I could ask for in a child. I just don't have the
dictionary to describe him or how much I cherish him."

with how little time I get to spend with him, He's smart. Like really smart. He reminds me of Jace more then
anything really. He's a quick thinker with a good sense of humor for a kid. He however got a pretty bad sarcastic
trait from me, Sorry Jace and Dorian! He's also become pretty persuasive from me. I'm a quick talker and I
definitely know how to get myself out of situations so I passed down my specialty to him. though he has all of
these wonderful traits, I've noticed that he's a bit cautious about all things. Trying new food, meeting new people,
generally everything.

As a child, he is mature and very strong-minded. He believes what he believes and doesn't vary from his ideals. I've also noticed that he absolutely will not tolerate a bully or the act of bullying. Although only a child, Indi seems strong and quiet, usually quite unlikely for a kid his age. Though all things considered, he is a very good kid and it is my pleasure to teach him."

Why Krieg?
Krieg has always wanted a child! He's very open to the concept of adoption, being an orphan himself. True, he's low on income and resource, but he's grown up that way, and knows how to get by with ease and comfort. He'd also have the space for them - in his house, there's about five extra rooms he doesn't use that would be perfect for a child! Plus, he get along well with kids. Krieg can be childish and playful, but mature enough that he knows what to do in situations that command him to be responsible. I think one of the reasons I value most why Krieg is a good parent is that he'll love the child no matter who they are. Bratty or selfless, flawless or flawed, completely opposed to him or his very best friend- he honestly doesn't care. No one ever wanted Krieg after he was orphaned, so he knows how important acceptance is. If a child does not feel accepted by their parents, they can hardly feel content with their home life. Also, Krieg is more than ready for a child. He doesn't have a lot going on with my life at the moment, living simple. That means that he has plenty of time to invest in bonding. Krieg believes that especially in the younger years of life, it is not only desirable but necessary to spend time entertaining children and allowing them to discover themselves and everyone they know. It is only of the youth mind to believe that the world revolves around them, and so if Krieg had the chance to take care of Beavis, he'd be prepared to spoil the crud out of them. Of course, all in moderation! Overall though, Krieg would just be ecstatic for the opportunity to be a parent to this child!

Image

First Encounter
Krieg found his way back to the abandoned train station. Used to protect people from bombings in World War II, it was old and rusty. The train tracks were broken and weak, and the white walls were lined with posters of all kinds. It was a great place to stay for his duration in Britain. It was free, spacious, and not otherwise occupied by people that could rat him out for being somewhere he shouldn't be or doing something he shouldn't be doing. He set down his bookbag, which carried pretty much everything except for books. Today it held a water bottle filled with iced tea and a large roast beef sandwich. He took out his food and sat down in his usual spot, about to take a bite of his sandwich when something from the corner of his eye caught his attention.
It was a cardboard box. He didn't recall it being there earlier... No, he was certain it was new- he'd explored the whole place and already looted what was to be found. But who knew how to get here besides him? The station was underground, and since it was long unused, no soul besides Krieg, and occasionally historians, knew its halls. Curiously, Krieg packed his food back up and headed towards the box. It was big enough to fit a microwave, but he found something very different inside. Peering in, he found a child, about the age of three. The child was sleeping wrapped in a baby blue blanket, an envelope by their feet. They looked quite drowsy and comfortable. Gently, Krieg shook the child awake.
The child moaned as if to beg for more slumber, but their eyes were open, if only half way. "Oh, hello." they said boredly.
"Hello..." replied Krieg. "Did you... did you come here with others? How long have you been here?"
The child shrugged. "I don't know... I do have a mommy, but I don't know where she is. Last I saw her she was helping me get to sleep." So they had already studied their surroundings enough to know that much... "Where am I?" Krieg was shocked at the child's passive nature. If he were in the child's position, he'd be panicked and jittery.
"You're in Aldwych Station, in who-knows-where Britain. You're not supposed to be here, but neither am I. Why are you here? Usually children your age that've been orphaned are out about on the streets, not wrapped up in a blanket like a baby..."
Now the child was panicked. "Orphan? No no, I'm not an orphan! I'm not! And I'm not a baby either, mister!" The once sleepy child was suddenly wide awake and more than willing to leap out of the box.
Krieg bit his lip, touching the child's shoulder softly with one hand and helping them out of the box with the other. "Sorry, kid. Such things are bound to happen every so often, I'm saddened it happened to you. I'm an orphan, too, and I was just like you when it happened."
Tears began to flow down the child's eyes, and because the stranger was his only companion, he hugged Krieg quite tightly. "I refuse to believe it... My momma still cares, she has to! She's probably looking for me now!"
Still holding the child in a friendly hug, Krieg reached for the envelope. As the child cried out his worries, he read the letter inside.
Dear Beavis,
I'm sorry this happened so quickly. It was unexpected for me as well, but it had to happen. Please don't bother looking for me, I'll probably be dead by the time I'm found. Please don't think I don't care about you at all, but I hope you find sanctuary in someone more capable to raise you than me.
- Mom

Krieg cursed to himself. It sounded mighty like what Krieg's family told him when they left him in the dust. It was vague, apologetic, and full of excuses. Classic. He suddenly felt a very intense hatred for whoever Beavis's mother was, but at the same time he felt a remarkable need to help the child in any way he could.
"You're Beavis, then?" Krieg asked.
"Yes, that's my name." Beavis replied, wiping tears out of his eyes.
"Is there any way I can help you, Beavis?" He had an urge to invite Beavis to Austria, but he knew the child didn't trust him nearly enough to do that yet. "I have a sandwich and some tea I was going to have for lunch, but the portions are too big for only me to eat." That was a lie. Krieg's appetite was huge and he'd gladly eat the entire meal, but there was no way he could eat anything knowing the kid could have an empty stomach.
Beavis eyed the bag. "I am a bit hungry..."
Together they sat down and ate. Most of the time, the two were silent, too busy munching on their half of the sandwich and taking turns drinking tea. "Thank you, sir. I feel much better now. Who are you?"
Krieg smiled, eyes locked on his sandwich. "No problem. My name is Krieg H. Aaldenburg. I was born in Czechoslovakia but I live in Austria. I came to Britain to take a break from my normal life. To be truthful to you, I am a theif, though I only steal what's necessary. However, if you want to know what I really do to make a few extra bucks, I spend my time finding lost pets. I live alone, but now and then I get a few visitors. My home is actually pretty big, if you're looking to stay with an adult. It might serve you well to..."
Beavis shrugged. "I don't know... England is my home..." They moved a few inches away from Krieg, being extra cautious.
"Okay, okay..." Krieg said. "I haven't heard much from you, what are you like?"
"Oh, my story isn't too interesting... I'm not old like you." they blushed.
"Ah, come on," Krieg encouraged. "There must be something awesome about you! Besides, you can trust me, right? I know you've only known me for an hour, but if I wanted to be your enemy, I would've made that clear from the start. I know this is a really hard situation, and I take it you're a shy kid anyway, but things aren't gonna get better unless you get some help."
Beavis sighed, nodding. "I'm not supposed to talk to strangers."
Krieg grinned. "Good, let's not be strangers then."
Beavis returned the smirk. "Fine. I'm, I like fishing..." he mumbled.
"What's that?"
"I like... I like fishing. And, I'm pretty smart I guess, but I don't like to admit it. I sleep a lot, but I also love being outdoors and playing in the park. I don't like preschool because other kids my age smell like cereal and they aren't very open to sharing board games. What, uh, what's your house like?"
"It's big, with lots of rooms I don't use. If you'll let me take you there, you won't even have to see me unless you'd happen to want something you couldn't find. You could also leave any time you wanted to. I'd pay for a plane to take you back here."
"You're really just going to offer me that? No strings attached?"
"I swear. It's what no one would offer to me when I needed help, but perhaps I know your situation more than those people knew mine. You in?" Krieg lifted a fist for a fist bump.
Beavis chuckled and returned Krieg's gesture. "Okay, but only if you're sure."
"Any time, kid. Any time."
