Which way is it to the town? // "Due east, due east." Was all he muttered. However, he also added "The win is due east." In a numbly tone a second later, so, whether or not he was speaking to them, or just the weather, was an bit confusing.

Now what? Apotheosis still holds true to their belief that, in the situation they are in now, their best bet is to head back to the village. At least there was shelter, and there was always the chance that the locals could be trusted. Anything seemed better than wandering around in the unknown running into every danger this place has to offer. So with that in mind Apotheosis calls out to the others again. "Let's head back." they chirp, using their glow to light the way through the woods.

Which way is it to the town? // Wolves began muttering to each other about their predicament, some even beginning to panic at the thought that they would be lost in the woods forever. Contrary to the escalating panic, Apotheosis kept a calm head about them and, with careful step as to not squish anyone against a wall, turns to address the wolves around them. "I know the way." they announce in a calm chirp. "The village is out of sight, but I can lead you there. Having sense of direction is what I am most skilled with, and I assure you that we are not lost. We can simply follow the path of the moon. The village is not far from here, just over this snowy ridge outside the tunnel. It should not be a long journey." With that they enhance the glow of their horns and tail. "I will light the way for us. Just follow in my pawsteps." With that, Apotheosis turns and leads the way toward the looming forest with confidence in their step.

You emerge outside of the tunnel and there's no sign of any of the creatures. You continue to the left into snowy fields until you see a bright light. "Hello again!" The friendly villager that first greeted you called out. "Are you looking for the town?" He must've figured you were lost.
