Those who share a sleeping spot with him have to watch out for flying limbs, or they risk injury and confrontation of a very apologetic Jiaheng. He also tends to murmur in a mixture of three languages when he sleeps, often causing his sleep/ nap escapades to be impossibly confusing for anyone who walks. Though Jiaheng is a gentle soul while awake, humble and innocent, when he is subconscious, Jiaheng can be quite the vicious foe.

The largest 'quirk' of Grimm's is more... a series of quirks. His deep-rooted superstitious, supernatural beliefs lead him to a lot of seemingly silly behavior. He deeply believes in things beyond this world, such as paranormal occurances, spectres, fate and destiny. For example, he won't look over his shoulder to the right side, only to the left. He won't eat food three days after it's been made or more; he refuses to remove his crown for any reason. He's always checking the position of the sun and moon for the same superstitious reason and believes that dependant on the time of day, there are certain things he's 'allowed' to do, versus things his behavior would usually limit. You can always count on Grimmsley to have a long list of good luck and bad luck omens, which he's always looking out for regardless of the weather-- unless, of course, the weather itself is a sign. It seems that lots of things have superflous meaning where Grimm is concerned, though he'll never admit they're silly and actually don't mean anything at all.
