What do you see at the end of the tunnel? // Apotheosis does their best to help lead everyone down the tunnels using their glow to light the way. Every now and again soil falls from the low ceiling, dirtying their fur and making them sneeze, but still they press on. After a while, Apotheosis' eyes catch sight of a distant glow. 'The outside!' Feeling a small wave of relief after being cramped inside the tunnels for what feels like ages, they are the first to reach the exit. With the sight of nothing but trees and snow before them, a vision that they were excited to behold, the moment before Apotheosis can step paw outside, something suddenly shimmies from above them. Startled, Apotheosis stumbles back in uncharacteristic surprise, fully expecting another dreadful monster. However, they blink in confusion at what they see now, and merely stare into the round, dark eyes of a rabbit. Now, normally this would be all fine and dandy, but Apotheosis couldn't help feeling a slight wariness about the fluffy creature, especially considering that it's over five feet tall, as stark white as the snow behind it, and dons a very impressive set of brown antlers. Now Apotheosis had never even heard of a Jackalope before, nevertheless SEEN one, so needless to say they are in too much shock to move.

Now what? Apotheosis still holds true to their belief that, in the situation they are in now, their best bet is to head back to the village. At least there was shelter, and there was always the chance that the locals could be trusted. Anything seemed better than wandering around in the unknown running into every danger this place has to offer. So with that in mind Apotheosis calls out to the others again. "Let's head back." they chirp, using their glow to light the way through the woods.

Ay, I just wanted to make a lil' announcement. I'm leaving this day open until tomorrow tonight because I'm stuffed with homework and I want to give everyone time to post a form. You'll also receive double tokens tomorrow. c:

Now what?

After staring at the creatures for a moment, Malta begun to slowly back away. Something wasn't right here. These things may appear harmless but he could sense that something was different about them. Once he was a safe enough distance away from the creatures, Malta sat down and begun to contemplate how to proceed.

Now what? "M-maybe we should get out of here?" Astra started to head towards the exit. "Or maybe we could block the entrance off from others coming in?"

Now what? Ryland huffed a sigh, her tail flicking agitatedly. "Logically, we could always block the way up front, then backtrack and split back to get home.."

Now what? "Heading back into town might be our best option..." The small RPW squeaked nervously. "But staying here is definitely more dangerous even though the mayor is just a tad loony...." Faylinn shuffled her paws nervously and looked around at the others anxiously... "Either way, the longer we stand here and decide, the more likely we'll be sitting ducks for more shadow creatures...." She squeaked hesitantly and quickly glanced at the surroundings.

Now what? Chewie cleared his throat to address the group. "I think it's best that we go back to the village. I know a lot of you don't trust the mayor, but if you think about it, he was right. Besides, the village is much safer than this creepy forest."

I say we head back to town. It may not be a good option, but either we stay here and you all freeze, or we head to the town and live.
Lykos noticed a few rpw's shuffling and nodding, and began walking in the direction of the town.

"Let's go back to the town and interrogate the mayor." Clovis called out to the others. "Obviously, something is going on, and if we don't get some information quick, something bad will happen to us all."
They looked at those that appeared afraid. "If we don't go, we'll encounter more creatures, and possibly even freeze out here. This forest is more hazardous than the town."
