Latamer struggled to hold on to the ham he had
smuggled just moments before as the cleaver that
the butcher had thrown barely missed his ears.
The butcher would've caught up to him if it hadn't
been for 2 paws grabbing him by fur on his neck.
The butcher had run right past the corner he was
just pulled in to, as another unfamiliar Vaiki
peeked over an old stone wall that shielded
them from the butcher. Latamer fell on all
fours, struggling to catch up to his breath.
"He's gone."
"Was that cleaver real or was I hallucinating?"
He responded. Latamer looked up, and noticed
a female Vaiki gazing at him. He returned her
gaze with a smirk.
"You're certainly quite real, aren't you?"
She ignored him and peeked over the wall again,
just to be safe.
"Nice try, Latamer, but I know your game. Don't
even think that you can flirt your way past me."
"How do you know my name?"
"Everyone knows you. You're only the most wanted
thief around here."
"Then you must know that
I don't play well with others. If you need me, I'll be
enjoying this ham."
She didn't argue as he was about to leave, but he
couldn't help but feel guilty. She didn't look in very
great shape either, and the ham was certainly large
enough for them to share.
And so they did.
They spoke all night, talking about the adventures
they've had. Turns out her name was Roman, and she
talked about a Vaiki named Pencil, how she secretly
stole food for them to eat. She talked about her double
life, how everyone in this town saw her as sweet and
innocent little Roman. They agreed to help each other out
every so often, and this stone wall would be their meeting spot.

Hey! I'm Max and I am currently a Vaiki non owner--
I've been quite picky when entering contests for this
certain species because I've been waiting for a Vaiki to come
by that I really connected to and adored, and this little one
just happened to be it! With finals finally over, I have
many plans for this lovely and I promise to take good

ＡＢＯＵＴ ＬＡＴＡＭＥＲ

Latamer can be described in may ways, including flirtatious,
humorous and often too sarcastic for his own good. He
hardly takes things seriously and tends to be the one to
make a joke out of a bad situation. Which occurs quite
often given the fact that he's a thief. However he would
never steal from those in need. Only those who have
too much. Roman has been his best friend ever since she
practically saved his life when he tried to steal a ham from
a butcher. She still teases him about it today.
