Castion growled hopping to the front lines immediately. Whatever shadowy creature they'd encountered he wouldn't be taking any guff from it today. "Hey, buddy! Whether you can understand me or not, this here party ain't up for any hi-jinx this evenin', alright pal, If you can explain what's going on, and how we can return to where we came from," he nodded toward the town, "Not looneyville over there," he muttered, "We'd be glad to get going on our way" he explained.

DAY SIX!

As Maximus and his pack reach the edge of the forest, he runs face first into the glass wall. Stumbling backwards due to the fall, he decides to take a closer look at it. Suddenly, a sound not dissimilar to nails on a chalkboard rang out, though muffled. Max put his head up to the glass in hopes of hearing more. Right in front of his eyes, he watched as huge cracks in the glass began moving towards him. They resembled claw markings. Jumping back, Maximus and the pack start backing away from the wall, eyes wide in fear and confusion.

There was a foggy puff on the wall that resembled hot breath on a cold window. Then, the wall began to revert back to normal. As if by some weird magic, the cracks in the wall repaired themselves and the breath marks faded quickly. Stunned into silence, the pack stood still for a few moments, no one was sure where to go next.

Do you trust the stranger, go into the forest, or explore somewhere else? Or some other reaction and/or suggestion? // My eyes narrowed in suspicion as thoughts flicked through my mind quickly. Can we trust him? Well, it's freezing cold. I can handle this, I'm used to weather such as this. But others? No...no...I don't want to force them into this just because I can handle the cold and they can't. With a determined nod of my head, I turned and addressed the group. "All right - I'm staying out here. I want to see whatever it is that lies within that so-called 'mysterious forest.'" Turning to the wolf who'd joined us, I addressed him. "When I finish looking into the forest, I'll come back here, okay?" I then glanced at the motley crew, all shivering in the cold. "Make your choice - go with me, or go with the stranger."

DAY FOUR!

Do you have any reactions? // My ears flat against my skull, I did as commanded, following Bubble, a grudge quickly forming in my heart against her. "Ugh," I mumbled, "why can't I just go off on my own? I hate being with this group. I don't feel safe with all the vulnerable wolves in here. I'd be better off on my own." When we reached the town, my ears shot around, listening for new sounds and smelling the terrain. Everything seemed all right...but something was clearly still off. I just couldn't put my paw on it. Lost in thought, I jumped when I heard the scream moments later. My eyebrows drew down in a frown as I spun on my heels, looking in the direction of the shriek. I took a few steps forward, my words nearly lost in the wicked wind kicking up snow, "Someone needs help, and I'm not going to stand here and let them scream forever without at least trying to help."

DAY FIVE!

Do you see if the mayor is telling the truth? If so, which way will you go? Or, will you trust his word? My eyes narrowed, and I growled menacingly. "What do you mean, there's no way out?" I snarled, showing my sharp teeth to the so-called mayor. "You know what? I don't care if you don't want us to leave - telling us there's no way out is such a blatant lie that even I can see through it." My teeth still bared and my tail bushed up in anger, I turned and went back in the direction in which we'd all come in. "If there's a way out, it's go to logically be the way we came in," I muttered. Suddenly remembering what I'd said earlier, I paused and looked back at the group of wolves. "Like I said before - follow me or follow the mayor. It's your choice."

DAY SIX!

What do you see? Do you have any reactions to anything else? // "Finally," I muttered, walking beside Edminwend, "somebody's got the right idea." As they walked together, we were joined by every member of the group. I soon set my gaze on the forest as we entered it, not even noticing the glass wall until I ran smack into it. Shaking my head to clear it, I then noticed the scratching noise, and glancing over, I saw a pair of glowing yellow eyes, staring back at me through the darkness. I narrowed my own, and my ears lay flat against my head. "What are YOU lookin' at, huh? What do you want?" I called out, trying to scare the creature away. There was no telling what it could do to the group, and in this spooky forest, I didn't want to explore just to get hurt seconds later.
The creature moved out, and...
"What are you?" I murmured, my eyes suddenly taking on a slightly more frightened look. I pulled myself together quickly, however, and stood tall. "What is your business here?" I asked it.

DAY SIX!

What do you see? Do you have any reactions to anything else? // Ryland's eyes widened as she fell into the thick wall of... glass? She let out a yelp, her tail tucking between her legs. The creature on the other side was.. unlike anything she'd ever seen, all dark and looming, yet also light and small at the same time. They were more teeth than body; long spiraling horns scraping against the glass, their rows upon rows of sharp teeth opening up into an impossibly large mouth; jaw unhinged, revealing snake mouth that could've eaten the small wolf easily. She backtracked, letting out another yell, which was matched on the other side by one of the creatures - a long, loud, bloodcurdling scream, muffled by the barrier yet still making every hair on her lean, small body rise.
"No way!" She yelled, tears forming in the corners of her rose colored eyes, "Let's get back to the town - I'd rather be surrounded by creeps than get mauled!"

Do you have any reactions to anything else? //Alrik stared at the glass he had run into, being there a bit longer, he was not sure what he was seeing or hearing, he heard another scream, yet this time, it seemed more like a loud squeal of delight. If he didn't know any better, he would think that the eyes staring at him belonged to an abnormally large child! He glanced up at the rest of the pack as they ventured near then looked back at the glass. For a brief moment he felt the ground shake before a strong blizzard started blowing. "We should teturn to the town" he muttered crossly. "There's no point staying here"

What do you see? Do you have any reactions to anything else? // The black wolf blinked, yeah okay, the mayor was actually serious when he said it just, well yeah. He turn his head toward the scratching sound, and what he see nearly makes him sick. It's a young pup, skeletally thin, eyes frightened and just begging them to save them. They scratch at the glass again, trying to get out.

What do you see? Do you have any reactions to anything else? // Aika's face gave nothing away to the terror she felt. Except, perhaps, her eyes. Her eyes, at first, would've given her away. They were stopped. But why? That question tugged at her mind.

What do you see? Do you have any reactions to anything else? // What? Whats wrong? Why is everyone freaking out? Kyle pushed to the front of the group to see what the problem was. He bumbed into the glass wall everyone was talking about, rubbing his hurt nose. He put his paw on the glass and felt vibrations. So someone is either banging or scratching the glass? It's probably some joker from within the group he thought and went back to sit down a few feet from the group.

Edminwend was actually suprised everyone decided to follow him, he didn't even say anything, guess he should have kept quiet the whole time? He kept munching on a few of the carob chips cookies, but one fell as soon as his snout hit something made of glass infront of him. Luckily, the cookie is still edible and it was only snow, so he continue to munch on it. As he picked it up in his mouth, he looked up and saw red pair of eyes staring right into Edminwend's own pair of tired eyes. Edmin swallowed the cookie whole then widen his eyes at the creature "What do we have here." his tone of voice is hardly a question or the least suprised. He scanned the animal who keeps scratching and growling at the transparent glass "Didn't the mayor say we are trapped? How interesting." he doesn't seem to mind the angry beast infront of him "We must go and ask the mayor regarding this, ignore this wretched creature alone, it is not going to harm us. We have more important things needed to be attended to other then cowering in fear." he exclaimed and walks back to the town, ignoring the dark scenery of the forest. He must know what it is going on and he will know. Sooner or later, but he chooses it to be sooner, unless everyone decides to instead do something else.
