Response -- At first, it didn't seem so bad. It wasn't that
dark right now and all he was looking for was a few items
here and there. However, the fall leaves crackling under
his paws were making him slightly scared. For once, he
was actually cautious with his surroundings. "Keep going,
Festus. Just a few items for Casia and you can leave!" He
told himself, ignoring the chills and whispers on his back.

Aika's fear was a little less today as she walked into the dark woods. She walked a little faster and with the tiniest bit more confidence. This time, her wings were pinned at her sides, and she paused every now and then so as not to lose her sense of direction.

Response -- Astra looked at the edge of the forest wondering what it would bring her. She put one paw in then heard a loud noise. Running as fast as she could into the forest she decided to look around.

Response -- She stiffened as she entered the eerie forest. It had a spooky vibe, but Laelia ignored it. She trudged through the snowy land, dodging trees as she went. It really wasn't that bad.

Kadyn continued her small journey, jumping at every noice that was made. "I can't take this I can't take this something's gonna kill me im gonna die oh my goodness..." She rambled, attempting to keep her mind off of things and clearly failing. She bounded past some trees, but hearing a sudden crunch in a brach she screamed and jumped into the nearest tree, flying up as high as she possibly could in the branches.

Response -- Rubbing her head, Faylinn glanced around her surroundings before giving a heavy sigh. She stood up carefully and ruffled her fur before flying upwards towards the canopy (of trees). Delicately landing on a branch, she carefully looked around again. "Nothing around for miles..." She sighed grimly before sitting down. A small chirping sound got her attention. Faylinn looked beside her to see a small woodpecker tapping away at a nearby tree. "Hello Mr. Birdy. What are you doing?" she asked gently as she flew carefully towards him, her face full of curiosity.

Response -- As I listened to the eerie whispering in the trees, my fur fluffed up with anxiety. Sighing out of habit, I spoke to myself quietly. "The mayor is nuts. Boy am I glad I got away from that dude when I could. Seriously. He's wacky." I shivered, even though my thick pelt should have been adequate protection against the icy wind. "It really is creepy in here - but I won't be here long, hopefully. Just in to search around and out again. Hopefully nothing keeps me here too long."

Response -- As I continued onward, the shivering and tickling sensations running down my spine finally stopped. I became more aware of my surroundings, feeling myself calm down. The wind was cut from the thick trees surrounding me, and it was darker than it had been outside the forest, though my eyes adjusted without any problem. Suddenly, a bush to my left rustled. I froze, looking over at it with anticipation, my ears swiveling over to see if I could hear what was in it. A rabbit leapt out, stared at me, twitched its nose, and flicked its ears. With a wink, it turned and raced off.
I pursued, wondering where it was headed.
