Response -- As I listened to the eerie whispering in the trees, my fur fluffed up with anxiety. Sighing out of habit, I spoke to myself quietly. "The mayor is nuts. Boy am I glad I got away from that dude when I could. Seriously. He's wacky." I shivered, even though my thick pelt should have been adequate protection against the icy wind. "It really is creepy in here - but I won't be here long, hopefully. Just in to search around and out again. Hopefully nothing keeps me here too long."

Response -- Zinnia tread carefully through the forest. She stepped on a loud twig and winced at the noise. She watched her feet to be more careful about where she stepped. Looking down at her feet, she hadn't noticed that dark, eerie fog she'd stepped into. Now Zinnia could barely see a few feet in front of her. Oh, what to do? What to do?

Response -- Couldn't help to look; the mighty adventurer went forth with his Allosaurus tooth handy in case trouble arose. The eerie whispers weren't new to him as he had traveled many a creepy place. This was simply another adventure for the mighty dragon tracker!

Response -- Faylinn shook the snow off her fur and carefully stepped into the forest. "I have to get out of here" she muttered to herself and began to jog through the forest, following the trail of pawsteps from the group's hike in. "Faster, faster!" She whispered to herself and began sprinting along the trail. Faylinn was too busy focusing on the trail, she didn't look up until it was too late and ran smack dab into a tree. She fell over and landed with a heavy thud. "Owwww.... That hurt..." She whimpered rubbing her head.

Response: "Well, it seems I'm not the only one here. Alas... Tis a true and genuine pity, after all, I came this way to try and be alone. Oh, why did I ever go to this horrendous event?" Eugene mumbled as he walked lazily through the wood, not seeming to fear anything at all in the least bit.

Response -- Tallis had expected better; the forest wasn't too dark, nor was it scary enough to have him shaking like a leaf. To be honest, he was kind of disappointed. "Trees, trees and more trees." He mused as he padded forward, pausing only to look around with mild interest. Eventually the brown wolf halted, eyeing a wilting plant with a faint frown. As he ran his flickering paint over the plant; his markings glowed a little brighter. To anyone watching, Tallis probably looked like some sort of walking lantern. He sat back as he watched his green and blue flames engulf the plant before fading and dying out. "That's better." He hummed, looking at the now healthy plant.

Response -- Lapis sniffed around the snow covered ground. She was once told that the forest holds many secrets and was wondering what this one held. She was already freezing and could no longer feel her paws but this didn't stop her. She stuck her nose towards the could, moving the snow around with her muzzle until she found something.

Aika frowned in discontent at the dark surroundings, flapping her wings slightly. She'd never liked the dark when it wasn't being used for her benefit. Slowly she walked forward, much more cautious than what was usual for her. The unnaturalness of her surroundings had awakened a sort of fear inside her, and suddenly she wasn't quite as brave as she normally was.
