At least. not until he heard a scream in the forest. blinked and perked his ears...To him any threat in the woods meant danger..He glanced back at the others and nodded his head. He decided out of curiosity that he would sneak off and find what caused the scream. He could always smell his way back or leave a trail for him to find his way again.

Do you have any reactions? // Max, still uncertain that this wolf is trustworthy, follows his pack, keeping a close eye on each of them for their own safety. Upon arriving at the town, Maximus takes a good look around. Everything appears to be in order. He cannot see many of the residents wandering around, which concerns him, but then again there is a snow storm outside. A few of his packmates snickered, thinking that the major was kidding about unfriendly residents, as this place appeared to be welcoming from the outside. Maximus, still scrutinizing the mayor's every move, sees his shifty glance towards the woods. Max looks the major up and down, determining how much of a threat he should consider this man. Just then, the scream emerged from the same spot in the woods that the major had previously glanced towards.

His pack was taken aback, frozen in their tracks and mumbling amongst each other. Maximus stepped forwards "I have a question, sir. Please forgive me for asking, but we are not familiar with the local area. You had mentioned upon meeting us that the woods were full of mysterious activity. WHat did you mean by that?"

Hearing the scream, he rather nonchalantly turns to look towards the forest. "Not everyone's friendly here, eh?" He mutters with a grimace, and a strange light in his eyes, as if he was itching to go on exploring were the screech came from, if just to get away from the town. "Very interesting indeed."

Flapping his ears he nervously chuckled before narrowing his eyes behind his glasses- " Where's the exit. " he was done. Nope. Seconds before he was ready to go into that forest, now he was ready to just hightail it outta here. If he froze or got frostbite so be it, he just wanted to go. This place was nettling him.

But, once the snow lets up you start to try being a bit happier; at least you have some warm places to stay, more or less safe compared to where you last were.

That was your last happy thought before the scream split the icy air. The hair on the back of your neck and hindquarters stood up, already icy and stuff and a warning growl rose in your throat. "I'm cold. I can't feel my legs, my nose, my ears or tail. I don't have time for this!"

The dark furred rpw sighed, plodding along beside the rest of the rpws. He keeps his ears perked, feeling all to well that this is probably a trap. His eyes scan the crowd, eyeing each rpw, scouting out who may be a threat In this strange village. Suddenly, a loud scream rips the air and Lykos bristles to twice his normal size. A low growl starts in the back of the wendigo's throat, and he lets out a sharp bark in reply, scattering many of the rpws around him. One, who stands to near to Lykos is greated with a glare, and the whispered words.

Luckily, he was able to get some red winter coat, gloves and a scarf, the kind and generous candy wolf also offered a hat, but he'll keep his. He gets out of the house and thanked the kind wolf for everything, he alo got some cookies[50] straight out of the oven, he kept a few in a tupperware [25] and stuffed himself with the other. Did I mention the wolf also gave a bag? The wolf was an explorer, but doesn't go out much now these days. As soon as Edwin went out to ask everyone 'What's now', since of course they can't stay here, he was interrupted by a scream not far away. His right skeleton hand grabbed the cookie that was in his mouth and stuffed it into some random rpw's mouth "...Water we wading for?" even though it pains him to say it, he wants to know the cause of the scream, and the pun, that pained him the most.
