:: What are Dantslos? ::
Dantslos are truly an odd creature, being the combination between an Anteater, a Sloth, and a... Well, a Lizard. They are typically very docile, loyal, friendly creatures that warm up to humans quickly, making for lovely companions. It is not uncommon for them to be kept as pets, but something to be mindful of is that their daily intake of insects (mainly ants, of course) or small berries is more than the average dog or cat. While wild, they are found roaming amongst tropical, damper areas of the World.
An adult Dantslos will only grow to the size of a Labrador puppy. Baby Dantslos are the size of kittens. Their size makes them great pets as well, and they are easily kept indoors for long amounts of time.
They have general anteater face anatomy, and are short due to their short legs, which are equipped with sloth-style feet. Dantslos have a normally medium-sized lizard-like tail, with a little bit more fluff. They are, indeed, mainly composed of anteater traits.
Dantslos come in all markings and colours.
1 Dantslos Year = 5 Human Months Dantslos are full grown in 4 Dantslos years.
I've made designs like this in the past... I'm guilty of using the circles and the gradient a lot, but I was listening to some fun rave/party songs which inspired the colours and all that.
I also made some edits to the description, now making it that Dantslos come in all colours. There are no restrictions, as I, myself - when applying for an artist position in a species - like creative freedom and with any restrictions there's not as much freedom.
