Why do you like this character?: This little girl is adorable! You did a great job, Shady! Her markings make her look like she's wearing a mask, like she's hiding herself. Her markings also make her look like a robot! c;

Viscet's Name: Xenon. (Pronouced Zen-en)

Gender: Female. She/her pronouns please!

Personality: Xenon is calm and collected, to put it in two words. Other then that, Xenon has a patient voice and a patient mind. She can be snappy, but only when she is aggravated and/or irritated. She is quite an introvert, not really wanting to speak with others, but isn't shy when someone talks to her. Xenon is also very care-free and rebellious when she thinks something is wrong. Another attribute is her protectiveness over her friends and family.

+ Traits: Calm, patient, collected, calm

- Traits:Easy to get aggravated and irritated, care-free, rebellious and snappy.

What does she think about chaos?:Chaos has crossed paths with Xenon many times. She tries to avoid it, but when it comes, she is usually ready to deal with it.

Other: Heh, my coding sucks.
they/he/she.
leo sun, scorpio moon, sag rising.

Name; Dante
Name Meaning; Dante is a Spanish baby name. It's meaning is Enduring. As his name implies, Dante has needed to endure much in his life. Even though his days are hard, he continues on with a strong heart.
Age:
Dante is about 18 years old at this time, however is nearing his 19th birthday. Since this particular Friday does not arrive every year, he celebrates either before or after the proper date.

Gender; Very Masculine. His incredible presence is part of his problem with the superstitious. As soon as he enters the room, you can't help but fall silent. He tries to make himself seem harmless and weak to quiet people's fears, however it is very hard.

False Sexuality; Dante is seen by others as straight. He worries that if he shows his true self, that others would think even worse of him. He worries over his acceptance in society greatly. The reason for this is said in his history.

True Sexuality; Dante is actually Bisexual, though leans towards Females more.

5 Word Personality; Misunderstood-Pure- Split-Loyal-Calm

In Depth Personality: This Viscet is very sweet, yet has grown shy over time. He constantly frets over his appearance. He constantly strives to please everyone he meets, causing himself misery in the process. His only wish is to erase all fear he brings. Though he tries his best to disprove it, he does indeed feel split between good and evil.He sometimes thinks to himself Why do I go through this when I could simply fill their view of me and end this pain? So far, he has always been able to catch himself before he plunged off the cliff of insanity.

The few friends he has only have praise to say about him. He is incredibly Loyal and preservers in any circumstance. He rarely gets upset and is a good shoulder to cry on. However, they have only ever seen his good side. His other side is the absolute opposite. His split side is arrogant, untrustworthy, rash, and angry. It is best to stay clear of him when this side is out. Until his 18th birthday, this side dominated his being. Now, he is more or less free.

Relationships:

Crush:
Dante may have something going for Viscet #285 named Abbey. He often watches her working in her flower garden, usually tending to her roses. He is still looking for the courage to talk to her. He is worried about what she will think of him, as he does with everyone. This thought is seriously limiting his life. If he just asked, he would find out that she likes him to, but is so shy she refuses to go up to him. Ah, young love...

Parents:
Dante has a wonderful relationship with his parents. They go and do everything together. They do not believe the haters and do all they can to make him happy. Unfortunately, it is not enough. Dante is generally quite unhappy. One little quirk of his mother is her need to protect. She is very careful with Dante, not wanting to unleash his other side. She does not want to expose him too much, so Dante has only seen a few strictly controlled zones outside of the town. Even though she has good intentions, it is shown in a bad way.

Image

How Do They Feel About Chaos:
Dante has mixed feelings about Chaos. It is as if a part of him welcomes it, beckons for it to enter his life, however his greater being wants to push it as far away as possible. This split personality causes him great anguish.

History;
Dante was born on a Friday the 13th, which is known for it's disorder and suspicion. For this reason, as his egg cracked there were many who believed his birth was an incredible mistake. He was dubbed "the bringer of bad luck" from the moment of his birth. As he grew older, he strived to become the most obedient, perfect child in order to prove the doubters wrong. Unfortunately, minds aren't so easily persuaded. Many became afraid of Dante, worrying over his birthday. The older he became, the more their fear grew. They began to throw items at him when they saw him coming. Over time, his beautiful white pelt became riddled with permanent bruises. However, he still strove to prove them wrong. However, after his 15th birthday, something snapped in Dante's mind. He suddenly wanted to terrorize the people who did him wrong, send them scurrying to their homes. He tries his best to keep the bad intentions at bay, however they are steadily growing stronger. Like an angel against demons, he battled his emotions daily. He comforted himself with the thought of revenge, yet carefully balanced it in his life. His only wish was for the feeling to leave. So, on his 18th birthday, he blew out the candles with this noble wish in mind. Dante felt a great relief and a cloud of black smoke leapt from his coat and disappeared into the air. He was no longer Dante the cursed, he was Dante the pure. His only reminder of those dark days is the lasting feeling of disorder and the multiple bruises.

Story:
Wind howled over the grassy plain, screaming it's cry for all to hear. Bushes and grasses flattened against it's rage. All bowed down to it's supreme rule. All except one. A small Viscling, no bigger than a large watermelon, struggled against the endless blast. The gale beat against his tiny body, creating new bruises where none previously existed. A single tear slipped over it's cheek, running down the length of his face before being whipped away by the wind. More soon followed. Down they came, splattering like rain down the creature's face. A faint chorus could be heard in the distance. Many angry yells rose in a horrifying symphony, signalling the birth of of the cursed. However, above all, there was an anxious cry from a distressed mother. "Dante! Dante!" She cried, repeating those words in an endless cycle. Ignoring her laments, the son continued on without a falter. They are right. My birth is a mistake. He thought bitterly. All those days waiting in his egg, listening to the soothing voice of his mother. All a lie. The world was a living nightmare. One he did not want to live. he was going to die out here in this storm, just like the mob wanted. Just like he wanted. All of a sudden, he stopped. A weird presence has just left him and he could now think clearly. Was this what I wanted?
He wondered, suddenly unsure. The mother's howls became louder and louder as she ran to meet him. It wasn't. This was not what he wanted. It was at this moment that he decided his fate. To prove to others his good nature. To show them, that he was only a young baby trying to survive in the world. Helpless.Weak. He nodded his head in sweet understanding, aware of his only goal in life. He needed to survive With that thought, he turned to face his oncoming parent, not a single tear in his eyes. He was ready for life, even though it will be unpleasant. He was ready.

Why I Like This Viscet:
I love this Viscet because it reminds me of many things. It reminds me of struggle, anguish, and pain. However, through all that, it reminds me of strength. Not giving up, even though times are hard. Dante continues on with a pure heart and a noble mind. If I was in his position, I don't know if I could have gone through all his problems.

pretty much a kid, in an adult Viscet form, he would hunt down his

i'm never what i like
Full Name:
Ataxia "Mayhem" Entropy
Meaning Behind Name:
Ataxia- his first name, given by his parents. While he does not have the disease itself, he is quite clumsy, resulting in his name.
Mayhem- Now, this is just a nickname, or could even be considered a self given name, since he never really cared for his original name.
Entropy- The final part of his name. When his parents were naming him, they got this part spot-on, as although this word has many definitions, one in particular seems to match up with Mayhem- inevitable and gradual decline into disorder.
How This Name Ties Into the Theme of Chaos:
Well, when I was coming up with the name, I started off just straight up searching synonyms for chaos, and when these three words popped up, I knew I had a cool name. I kind of just went with what I saw, and I think it fits in nicely with the underlying theme of chaos!

Image
i'm double sided
Gender:
Mayhem identifies as genderfluid, though typically just goes by male pronouns.

Gender Role:
Mayhem often fluctates between more feminine orientated and more masculine, though typically more masculine.

Sexuality and Romantic Orientation:
Mayhem is asexual and heteromantic.

Appearance:
He was always pretty scrawny and short, though he wasn't massively so. He was only a little below the average weight and height of the others his age, though he did always have enormous paws, which explains his clumsiness. He was gifted with a short tail, which effected his balance, and by extension, made it easy for him to trip. Thankfully, to make up for his lack of grace, Mayhem was gifted with large eyes and above average vision. As for how old he looks, often Mayhem is mistaken for looker older than he really is. Maybe it's because life has already worn him down, which is a shame, seeing how youthful he still is.

Mental Age:
Well, you see, although Mayhem may be an adult by now, he's still most definitely a child at heart as well as at brain. He acts like a little kid most of the time, and often doesn't recognize when it's time for him to act more mature, and his real age. This probably results from his rather easy childhood, since he never really had to grow up.

Birthday:
Let's just go with December 13th, which makes him a Sagitarius.
"Traditional Sagittarius Traits

Optimistic and freedom-loving
Jovial and good-humored
Honest and straightforward
Intellectual and philosophical

Sagittarius On the dark side....

Blindly optimistic and careless
Irresponsible and superficial
Tactless and restless"

He might have been some of these more happier traits when he was still a child, but they've long since died now that he's matured and been through all that he has.

Image
and i just can't hide
Personality Traits:
Coward, Mischieveous, Childish Strong-Willed, Excitable, Loyal, Adventurous, Humorous, Scattered, Introverted, Strong-Willed, Emotional, Trusting, Naive, Passive-Agressive, Melodramatic, Greedy, Bitter, Twisted, Self-Serving, Bigoted, Pessimistic, Boastful, Careless, Clumsy, Delusional, Old-Fashioned

Detailed Personality:
Well, Mayhem is quite the complex figure to understand. On the outside, he seems to be a mischieveous, clumsy coward who's not clever enough to make many friends, but on the inside, he's so much more. It is true that he's all those things he seems to be, but he really has so many other facets to him. If someone were to take the time to actually get to know Mayhem, they'd be able to see past all of his negative traits. If the viscet was able to make a true friend, then he would show how loyal he can be, and how trusting. Mayhem would entrust anyone with just about anything, despite being hurt numerous times in the past. He acts childish, all whiny and stubborn, but that's because deep down, he doesn't know any better.
When he gets worked up, a new side of him shows. This one can either be extremely excitable, and even happy, or quite the opposite. When upset, he gets extremely pessimistic and sarcastic, as well as having a shorter temper and trying to pick fights. However, his true, cowardly nature always makes its way back to the surface. He feels bad for himself whe he's in this state, and withdraws from the rest of the world to be in bitter silence. He also becomes a bit of a drama-queen, trying to draw attention to himself, though it generally is in a negative connotation.
And then, when he's feeling particurally happy, his arrogance comes into play. He becomes boastful, arrogant, and cocky of his minor abilities, which also often gets him into fights that he can't finish- or, even really fight them at all. He's extremely bigoted and stubborn during this time, never taking no for an answer, and refusing to admit there's a chance he might be wrong. In this light, he also tends to crack more jokes, to anybody who will listen to him. These times are probably the easiest to grt to him, as he's extremely oblivious and naive due to his arrogance. If you either wanted to make friends with him or exploit him foy your own purposes, this would be the time to do it.

Personality Type:
ENTP- "The Debater"

Likes: Villians, spending time to himself, playing tricks, having friends, sleeping, peaches

Dislikes: Being excluded, being wrong, loneliness, being forced into things, anybody trickier than him, feeling dumb

Fears: Total chaos, insects, spiders, heights, drowning/choking, dying, breaking bones, being alone, getting assasinated, darkness, sharp objects

Image
i kinda like it
Now, Mayhem's relationship with chaos isn't quite that simple. In fact, it can be quite complex at times, and even make no sense. Like it or not, he's always been tied in to chaos, and always will be. Now, to start it off simple, there are certain types of chaos Mayhem enjoys. He tends to go for the simpler, more petty types of chaos rather than the massive world-changers. This viscet has almost subconciously divided chaos into sub-categories, under the the two main types- big and small. In his mind, chaos is neat and organized, for the most most. Although it's not really true chaos, Mayhem does enjoy some of the simpler things, such as disorginization. Mayhem is the opposite of organized, keeping all of his stuff sprawled out all over the place. He would never think of changing it, as he has embraced the messy side as one of his better facets. And, another thing, Mayhem enjoys others' confusion and panic. If there are large masses upset and scared of something, you're sure to find this guy lurking around somewhere near. Unfortunately for him, he's not very clever, and quite the coward, so he ends up engulfed in thr mass pandemonium much more often than he'd like.

The definition of chaos is, "complete disorder and confusion", which is exactly the opposite of anything Mayhem could ever enjoy. In fact, it's one of his greatest fears. He would rather sample small doses of chaos than the whole shebang, and is quite worried what might happen if true chaos were to reign. Of course, while he is terrified of true chaos, he generally despises order. He'd much rather be free to roam around pranking people than to be trapped in a state of order. Now, of course, his love for chaos usually wins out over the fear, however the two also combine to create a sort of fascinated attraction and desire. So, while chaos in its purest form terrifies him completely, he also believes he could never live without chaos. Chaos is the foundation of his entire being, albeit on a cliff's edge.

Of course, with a little misguidance, it's quite easy to change someone's opinion on something. Well, if that someone is Mayhem. The older he gets, the less fear he harbors for total chaos. Eventually, this will either make or break him. What will happen remains to be seen.
Image
when i make you cry

Although there are quite a few points that I could start out at, such as at Mayhem's birth, his childhood, or even later on into life, but to really begin at the beginning, I'd have to go much further back, from before Mayhem's parents were born. Once upon a time, many, many years ago, there was a kingdom of viscets. And, with every kingdom, a king, just like with every fairy tale, a villian. Now, the king we're going to be discussing might be considered a villian by some, but in this view, he was simply the protagonist of the story. This king had not been in reign for very long- in fact, only a month or two- before the seeds of rebellion began to spread. Truely, he was quite hated, as his father had invaded and taken over the kingdom many years ago, ruling with an iron paw. Now that his son had taken the throne, they no longer had to live in total fear, which got them thinking. What if they could take back the throne?

Well, the new king was crafty, and word soon spread to him about his subject's unrestlessness. This put the young viscet on edge, making him start to fear the future and what it might hold. Soon, he went over the edge, paranoid of every little thing. Now, although the king had been gifted with a strong mind, he had a relatively slim frame, and he knew that if his subjects attempted to forcibly overthrow him, they would easily overpower him. Terrified of the prospect, the king began to search out for ways that would allow him to protect himself. And, soon enough, he found his wish, in the form of an old legend regarding a mysterious being hidden deep within the earth that granted wishes. Too anxious to stay in the kingdom, the young male set off at once for the fabled entrance, and after a long and harrowing journey, made it to the spot where the being supposedly inhabitted. The farther down the king went, the more deluded he became, until he was blinded by fear and desire to grow stronger.
The viscet slipped forward at a steady pace, eyes filled with fear. Who knew if anybody had followed him from the kingdom? As far as he knew, someone could be following him, waiting for the right chance to strike him down for good. He hadn't thought that any of his subjects knew where he was, though he could be sorely mistaken. Flicking his tail anxiously, the king would shove up against a bush, trying to push through. His fur was tangled and tattered from thorns, though it would all be worth it if he found what he was looking for. The bush suddenly gave, sending him flying into it. Squeezing his eyes shut, the viscet jerked himself from the clutches of thorns, adding to his growing number of missing patches of fur. Pinning back his ears, the king shook out his pelt, hoping to dislodge some thorns. Releasing a soft sigh, he continued onwards. This wasn't going to stop him. Blinking slowly, he dropped down onto all fours to avoid a group of low-hanging branches, though in the process his paws got tangled up in a few external roots. Muttering a curse under his breath, the king jerked free, stumblinv forward straight through the next bush. Shaking his head to straighten out his thoughts, the sight the king was met with made him stumble back a step. Although there was no abrupt end to the jungle, but there was a rocky, mountain-type figure jutting up from the trees. The king practically skipped over, heart dancing within his chest. 'This is it.' He thought. "This is really it..." He muttered aloud, straightening up to his full height on two legs. He aproached closer on shaking legs, craning his neck to see the top. There should be a cave opening, right about...there? His chest fluttered as he frantically glanced around, flapping his paws about as he twisted and turned. Where was it? Where was it? He felt on the verge of tears. To come this far, just to die out here alone without finding anything? His legs began to tremble, and he dropped down onto all fours, almost sinking to the ground in defeat. Still clutching a thread of hope, the king tripped over the rocks, desperately searching for an opening. He tripped, falling face first in defeat, and shoved up against a rock, which shifted slightly. Letting out a wail, he shoved up against the rock once more, squeezing his eyes shut. He felt pebbles rain down onto his head, and his eyes flicked open. The viscet dived to the side, fearing the worst, and curled up with his paws placed protectively over his head. After a moment, the king opened his eyes, slowly sitting up. The pebbles had simply come down from the rock shifting, nothing serious. Blinking away the tears, he paced closer, sticking his head as close as he dared. Behind the rock, it appeared to be hollow. Almost like, like a cave. The king allowed a smile to cross his lips. He had found it.

When he finally reached the center, he did indeed find themysterious being, and quickly wished to grow physically stronger. Little did he know, there was another part of the legend he had missed. A smaller, less talked about snippet that told of a price for having a wish granted. The male was granted his wish, though the mystical being recieved something in return- the king's soul. However, at the time, the viscet had no way of knowing this, and simply rushed back to his kingdom as quickly as possible. It wasn't too long until he was attacked, proving his paranoia wasn't for naught. The king was able to fend off his attacker and walk away with only a few scratches, while the attacker was sentenced to death. Now that he had shown his strength, this discouraged the rebellion, but didn't quite quash it. The king grew arrogant, expecting nothing else to trouble his reign, but of course, he was mistaken. What kind of a story would this be if he never had any troubles again?

Well, when the time came, the viscet's kingdom was invaded with hardly any warning, and toppled easily. The king was taken prisoner, and later executed. However, this was not the end of his story. Rather, it was simply the beginning. Remember that deal? Well, it's about to come back into play. He had recieved his strength, while the being had received his soul. And thus, after he had died, he found himself back with the mystical being. With an extremely lucky stroke, the being who had claimed his soul had turned out to be benevolent, or at least in need of some entertainment. The being took pity on him, because while he was arrogant, paranoid, and greedy, he was also loyal, amusing, and had died young. His soul was sent off to inhabit a new body, though there was a catch. He wouldn't simply have a free body; rather, he would have to live with the original soul inside the body.

The male rested inside the first body for its entire life, living through the eyes of someone else, before the viscet the former king was inhabitting died of old age. The male was sent back to the being, whom had not been entertained. He wanted more action, more glory. Thus, he made a new deal with the former king. If he managed to take control of one of his vessels, and live out a life of glory and befitting to a king, then he would grant the viscet an entirely new life, and a body all to his own. The former king agreed, and so he passed along through bodies, though he could never establish much more than a slight hold on his hosts, never much more than a whsiper in their ear or an idea popping into their head. Then came Mayhem.

From birth, he was destined to be something special. His parents knew that from the very beginning, sensed something a bit odd about him. Quickly coming up with a suitable name for the newborn, they couldn't know that their new son already had a second soul living in him- that of an age-old former king. But, this time it was different. This time, the nameless king had more power, more control, and more influence. This time, he was able to help Mayhem grow, modeling him after himself. Mayhem grew up normally, never suspecting a thing, and to this day has no idea of who lives within him.

The small viscet let out a small bark, rolling onto his side. He was only a few days old, but already was showing signs of wanting to move and play around. His mother gracefully settled down next to the small child, wrapping herself around him with a gentle smile. The viscling's father approached as well, eyes shining. This was the couple's first child, and although they loved him very, very much, they weren't exactly the most qualified of parents. In fact, they hadn't even named their new son yet. The female nuzzled the small viscling, making him let out a small squeak and scoot closer to her. Feeling warm inside, the female would slowly swing her head up to face her mate. Settling down, the male would stare down adoringly at the viscling. The child would roll again, seeming to stretch out, and would then curl up next to his mother's side. The mothe would then gently lick her son's ear, before turning back to her mate. "Have you thought of any more names yet, dear?" She would ask with a tilt of his head. The male would sit up straight, nodding his head. "A few. Perhaps Mortem, Magna, Ataxia, or Rubi?" The male would suggest, pride evident in his voice. Flicking her tail gently, she would smile up him. He could be such a dork sometimes. Her perfect dork. Blinking, she would turn her head back down towards her child, whispering, "I think Ataxia suits him." Her mate would crouch down to sit right next to the sleeping viscling, watching as he shifted slightly and snorted in his sleep. "Aye, Ataxia is a fine name." He would affirm, before placing a paw over top his mate's. "Our little Ataxia..." She would say, curling tighter around the small being. The two mates soon slept right alongside their son, neither of them possibly knowing what fate would befall Ataxia.

And, well, what about Mayhem's childhood? Well, it was quite a great one in many ways, though it also wasn't the most ideal in others. Born as an only child, he never had to experience sibling fighting, or even real sharing. Perhaps this is another reason why he turned out to be such a greedy individual, besides the fact that the king was manipulating him. As he grew, the young male slowly learned his way through life, as although his parents were involved, they weren't such great teachers. The young viscet often had to work his way through his own problems, though the first major problem was when he decided he identified as genderfluid. That was a hard time in his life, as when he felt more feminine, all the other visclings would constantly tease him. Those were dark times for him, and he never did forget them. From that time on, Mayhem harbored a bitterness in his heart. It seemed to be a bit of a turning point in his life, turning him pessimistic rather than optimistic.

And of course, this bitterness led to a window of oppertunity for the other soul inhabitting Mayhem. The king saw an opening, and he took it. He wormed his way into the young visclings heart, making sure that this birter hate would last him a lifetime. Perhaps this was where it all started to go downhill, or into entropy. He only grew more and more unstable the longer he lived, growing apart from other viscets. Any friends he had were now gone, though in Mayhem's voice, it was good riddance to them. Although Mayhem had always grown up listening to stories, he had never really thought much about the villians. They were all just evil, flat, and weak, never winning. However, now he started to re-evaluate those storybook villians. It was almost like an urge to do so, to identify with the villians, that he couldn't exactly explain.

He continued to grow older, his mind slowly being influenced, until one day he was stopped by a group of viscets that were his age. They had been the larger, stronger ones who had bullied him when he had first identified as genderfluid. Growing weary fast, he tried to slink off, but they quickly made it clear he wasn't going to be able to run. They started off by taunting him, before resorting to physically beating him up for a bit, and then leaving him bleeding in the woods. Thankfully, they hadn't been really serious, and had only given him a few minor scratches, but it sent him careening toward the edge. He became much easier to manipulate, almost entirely giving in to the former king. His parents knew something was wrong, but didn't know the severity of the situation, or how to properly talk to their son.

He spent awhile like that, becoming more testy and violent. He became fascinated with villians, and tried to learn as much about them as he could. The former king egged him on, slowly but surely developing Mayhem to his own desired product. He became distanced from not only the other viscets, but would also leave for even weeks at a time, doing who knows what. Mayhem would be spurred by the voice in his head. That all changed one day when he left for his longest yet, over a month, and came back to find his home completely deserted.

No sign of a struggle, just gone. Mourning the loss of his parents, Mayhem remained in his home for around three months, in total isolation, before a strange pack meandered in. Rejecting their presence at first, Mayhem refused to awknowledge them, even the child who tried to follow him constantly. After a few days of resting, they moved on. Of course, Mayhem's life just seemed to be destined as a tragedy, as the pack didn't get far. Hearing screams and cries of pain, the startled viscet quickly hid, waiting out whatever danger had befallen the pack. He huddled in wait the whole day, until he was certain it would be okay to move.

Silently slinking in the direction of the screams, he pushed through the undergrowth, until he found a horrifying sight- the mutilated bodies of the entire pack. Stumbling back, Mayhem was entirely overwhelmed by the whole sight, and sank to his stomach in defeat and despair. He didn't even know these viscets, and yet now they were all dead? Before he blinked his tired eyes shut, he saw the corpse of the small child, and let out a shuddering sob, slowly falling to sleep.

After that, Mayhem learned what a villain truely was, and that he was not one. A villain was someone truely evil, with no morals. Someone who didn't care who they killed or why. The viscet began to wander, slowly reverting back to his old nature. The progress the king had made on Mayhem was beginning to fade, much to his frustration. He had worked so hard, only to fall short? No. The male refused to accept this, and simply worked doubly hard on Mayhem. It was tough, surviving on his own, but he was making it.

It wasn't long before he had reverted fully back to his childish state, possibly a result of PTSD, and was off searching for something to do in life. He now had no family, friends, or a home. Mayhem craved companionship, and he searched and searched for somewhere suitable. However, he never seemed to fit in anywhere, and remained a loner, something that viscets never seemed to know existed. He came upon a large colony, and slipped in, trying to remain unnoticed in fear of being kicked out. However, when they did notice, they welcomed him with open paws, confusing him. When was the last time he had been greeted with kindness? It seemed like such a long time.

Mayhem would not stay there forever, though he would spend a few months there, building his confidence- and, by extension, arrogance. His old, nasty traits were beginning to surface again, thanks to the former king, which would soon end up causing him to leave. He left because he started to feel as if no one liked him anymore, and all his so called "friends" had abandonded him once more. Mayhem took off pretty quickly, once more adjusting to the life of a loner. The former king was putting feelings into him again, trying to make him feel as if he didn't need anyone or anything.

Mayhem spent the next few months wandering around, sleeping wherever he pleased, until he found his way to a spot that seemed almost familar. A rock mountain, overgrown almost entirely with vines. Of course, the viscet had never seen the place before, so he wasn't exactly sure what it was that drew him so close to the space. It was about a week of just hanging around the place until he found the tunnel.

It surprised him to suddenly find a hidden tunnel, but he couldn't quite resist the urge of adventure. So, down Mayhem went. The deeper he traveled, the stronger the pull, until, eventually, the viscet felt as if he wouldn't be able to turn back, even if he wanted to. Mayhem simply brushed the thought aside for the moment, more concerned with finding out what was at the bottom of the shaft. When he finally reached the bottom, Mayhem was met with a sight unlike anything he had ever seen.

There, in front of the viscet, was the being from many years past. Once, a similar viscet had stood right where he was. And now, it was his turn. His paws trembling, Mayhem wasn't sure what to do at all. Who- who was this? Why did they live in the bottom of such a long tunnel? Mayhem bit his bottom lip, trying to think of something to say but came up with nothing. Fortunately for him, he didn't have to do any talking. Mayhem rubbed a paw to his head, suddenly feeling a bit light-headed. Was he too far underground? That was the last thing he remembered thinking before he sank to his knees, quickly passing out.

Being so close to the being, the former king had been able to entirely take control of Mayhem for a limited time, locking up the viscet deep within the confines of his mind. The king and the being engaged in a short conversation, before the former king stormed off, clearly upset. Making it back to the surfaace, he glared around, before his features softened. He had a body again, one he could control. Really, it was nothing short of a miracle. He took a few steps, marveling at the fact, before he felt something like a tap, on his head. Whirling around, the formsr king saw nothing there. What sort of trickery was this? But, when he felt it again, stronger this time, he realized it was not coming from something external, but internal.

Mayhem didn't know what was going on, but he had regained some control. It was like someone had stolen his body, or something. He was terrifyed, yes, but also filled with a rage he had never known before. How dare someone try to steal his body? Concentrating, the viscet attempted to shove the former king behind him, and to take back control of his body. He somehow succeeded, snatching his body back. The young adult let out a gaso, falling to all fours. He was okay.

One thing that wasn't okay, however, was the fact that the creep who had tried to steal his body and suppress him was still in his head. Conjuring up the rest of the strength he had left, Mayhem was able to shove out the former king. The viscet was left weak and vulnerable from the feat, though he would recover rather quickly. And, while the former king would be able to come back and haunt him from time to time, he would never make it back into Mayhem's mind like that again.

Now, Mayhem left the cave entrance, hopefully never to return, and lived life solo once more. He would meet friends along the way, true friends, and maybe even join a pack one day. You could never really know what the future would hold, after all.

Goals I Have For This Viscet:
Well, if I do win Mayhem, then I'll definitely set to work on developing him. Namely, working on his story, and what comes next. Along the way, I'm hoping for him to maybe even meet a special someone, though my real goal is to have fun. I'll definitely try and get a good feel for his personality through roleplaying with other Viscet owners. Since this would be my first viscet, I'll totally cherish him forever, and really just doodle him all over everything.

I didn't know where to put this, so here's an extra little box! C:

by the way, i'd just like to say good luck to everyone else! the other forms are so well made and awesome, and it'd be cool to see them win if i don't! <3

How Do They Feel About Chaos?:
Calamity sees chaos as a perfect balance
to keep the world interesting in so many
ways. Without chaos, the world would be
neat and orderly, and where's the fun in
that?! Of course, too much of a good thing
can make it into a bad thing. If there is
too much chaos around her, Calamity
begins to feel agitated and slightly stressed
out before she gets flat out peeved.

Ħιƨтσяʏ

Calamity is a ravaging sea of chaotic events and odd intentions. To completely understand her, you must first start with her past. Before she was known as Calamity. Back when her name was Zukatsi.

Calamit's home was a small meadow consisting of twenty viscets. It was a large pack filled with high spirits and cheerful songs that danced in the night like the twinkling stars above. Calamity was born on a clear and calm night of a blue moon, where the stars seemed to be their brightest. Her bright eyes and big smile seemed to captivate those around her and she promptly became a favorite in the pack. Viscets all around would stop and stare with vibrant smiles on their faces when she would waddle or skip about, as she never seemed fond of simply walking. Calamity was rarely seen away from her loving parents or elder brother. They were the ideal family and often were the go to when comfort was needed.
This comforting ability they seemed to have came in handy the most when several viscets were stricken with an illness none had seen before. Concerned for the safety of the pack, they determined Calamitys father to become the packs "medic", as he was the most knowledgable about injuries and illnesses. This new illness was an odd one and perplexed him for many days. It started with a simple sore throat. Later, a weezing breath developed along with a hacking kind of cough that often led to stomach bile being thrown up. After a week, the victim would loose feeling in their tail and ears, and a bloody nose would happen at least three times a day. The pack began to grow quiet, day by day, until the first victim passed on. This sparked panic.
Viscets no longer stayed in the open, but huddled up inside of their dens. Calamitys father moved into a center den along with the ill to attempt to avoid getting his family sick. Calamity was no longer wanted around, for fear that she may be a carrier of the disease. In a matter of two weeks, the pack had turned hostile and unsociable to the point that fights would break out often. These fights only served to worsen the problem, as the wounds left unattended to, for fear that the medic may be a carrier, quickly picked up the disease and infected the Viscet. This carried on for what felt like years, though it was only about four months until only four viscets remained: Calamity, her father, her mother, and an elderly Viscet that had decided to live in a tree. Her brother had passed on a month after the diseases first kill.
It was nearing winter when her mother first started showing the signs, and had begun snowing when Calamitys father came to her at night. "Sweet pea, come here." His voice was hesitant and calm. Calamity approached him curiously, by now she was capable of standing on her hindlegs for a few moments at a time. "You know that your mother hasn't been feeling well, yes?" Each word was spoken with complete caution and hesitation, dripping with bitter regret, as though he was about to tell a child that Santa Claus was not coming this year. Calamity nodded slowly, terrified and curious to hear of what was coming. It was like a horror movie. Slow, prolonged. You knew exactly what was coming, but now how or the precise moment when. The main character turns a few corners with suspenseful music and you thing "now. This is the moment when we meet the monster" but it doesn't happen. Not until you don't think it will ever happen. That's precisley how this played out. Calamity had always held a sinking feeling for her parents after her brother had passed on, but it had been so long she began to have hopes that they were immune. The announcement of her mothers death hit her like a sledge hammer and left her in a state that resembled death. Quiet, curled up, unmoving. A hollow shell of the happy Viscet she used to be. When her father passed on as well, she no longer felt alive in any way. She often would lay in her den and wonder why she was not dead. Why they had to go and leave her with the crazy old man that hid in the trees. Why she had to be forced to grow up when she could hardly walk. Why her friends died, why her brother died. Why was she still even alive?! What was the purpose?!

In a mater of four days, Calamity abandoned her birth name and adopted a new one of bitter chaos, abandoning the happy viscling she once was as well.

After the adaption of her new name, she decided that she could no longer be the crippled shell of a Viscet and stood on shaking hindlegs, making an oath to never walk on all fours again. Steadily, she walked out of her den, a shimmering white against the vibrant green of the buds of spring. She walked in silence, her head held high and her tail sweeping low. If you were to see her then for the first time, you would believe that what had happened were simply a fairy tale, and that she was simply a noble alpha of a healthy and strong pack. She walked past the tree that the old Viscet had hidden in and carried on into the woods beyond her to something foreign and unfamiliar, with no hope or anxiety for what was to come.

Months later, Calamity had stashed the disease she was immune to into the past and pressed onward. Her legs were now strong enough to carry her for miles upon miles as she pursued a storm, which she named Chaos. It never seemed to stop, lighting bitting the earth while rain pummeled the soft, pale green blades of grass that poked through the soggy soil. Trees roared and swayed, some snapping into pieces, as the wind shoved and pushed their branches to and fro relentlessly. Thunder echoed from the dark clouds like a dragons heavy roar. Somehow, this storm drew Calamity in to the point that she always wanted to be a part of it, but never wanted to touch it. Following closely behind like a tiny shadow, silent and always watching.
Calamity pursued the storm for days that she did not care to count. Silently watching each flash and listening to each booming roar, steadily feeling smaller and smaller every second. It wasn't until the bolt struck the willow tree that she snapped out of her numb shell, like a butterfly ripping free of its cocoon.

The instant the bolt hit the tree, sparks and flames shot from the top and base.
A moment later, the tree groaned as it split in half, the interior charred
black. Flames began to lap at the tree, slowly engulfing it like a hungry
anaconda. Calamity stood and watched as the ravenous flames reached out
and snagged other branches of new trees, promptly beginning to devour them
until the sky danced with red and black. Smoke reached her and her lungs
heaved in attempts to back up the foul smog. Steadily, her grip on reality
returned to her and her eyes shone with a new type of clarity. Her instincts
jolted to light and she dashed from the smoke that plowed from the tree and
chased her. Coughing and hacking, she ran as fast as she could, stumbling over
several branches as she fled from the devouring flames. Another bolt shot down
ahead of her and the tree groaned, slowly bending over. Calamitys eyes
widened and she sped up, leaning foreword in a desperate attempt to get
away from the storm she had once admired. As she was passing the tree, the
last of it gave out and it crashed down. For the most part, she dodged it.
Narrowly avoiding the trunk as it tried to crush her lean body. However, she had
not anticipated the large branch as it fell with the tree and struck her head. Dazed,
injured, and frightened, she staggered in a circle for several moments, her mind
blurring everything into foggy lights of red and green. She stumbled over something
soft that made a noise when she hit it, and crashed to the ground. After two
attempts of rising, Calamity gave up and laid in the soft grass until her eyes blinked out.

Image

The worst part about hitting your head is the migraine you get shortly there after. When her eyes cracked open, they immediant snapped shut, rejecting the too bright sunlight as it peered in from a small den entrance that had obviously been dug out recently to provide more room. She groaned as she sat up and shook her head slightly, her brain feeling liquified and sore. She lowered her head and shielded her eyes by pushing her ears foreword using her paws before slowly opening them once more. The light was softer now, and caused less of a buzzing feeling in her skull. She inhaled a few times through her mouth, and then her nose, immediently catching the scent of several wolves nearby. Unphased, she crawled from the den, scratching her way out of the narrow entrance, and grimmanced under the full glare of the sun. Her eyes adjusted slowly, revealing the slightly blurry grey and brown forms of wolves, some standing up and others already standing, all watching her with ears shoved foreword and tails level to their spine. Her father had warned her of wolves when she was a viscling, now it was different. She could take them if she needed, and was more prepared for that than what happen next.
A sharp snapping noise resonated from her left and the wolves seemed to back down. Calamity turned her head slowly to watch as the alpha, a massive black wolf with gleaming golden eyes, approached her with such serenity it almost made her want to relax completely, it almost made her feel as though she were safe. Almost. Behind the alpha, a Viscet stood on all fours, glaring at her with Amber eyes. He followed the alpha with more grace than she could have imagined capable of a Viscet walking like a viscling, as though that was all he knew. Calamity eyed the alpha and Viscet as they approached with caution and faint agitation. When the alpha spoke with a gruff, growling noise, she felt the eyes of the entire pack turn to her. The black wolf before her sat heavily and watched her in silence while the Viscet behind him snarled deeply and lashed his tail. Confused, Calamity remained silent, glancing on occasion to the pack behind her. When the alpha made another gruff noise, she attempted to mimick what she believed to be a gentle wolf noise. Apparently, she failed. Almost immediently after, the Viscet snarled monsterously and lunged forward, crashing into her and throwing her to the ground before snapping savagely at her as though to tear her apart. Enraged, Calamity shoved her hind legs to his stomach and threw him off with ease, slightly satisfied with the thudding noise he made as he hit the ground. Before she could stand, the Viscet crashed into her once more, snapping and snarling as foaming saliva gleamed on the sides of his mouth. Calamity pressed her forepaws against his neck and pulled her head back to avoid the snapping jaws. A sharp bark resonated from the alphas throat, and the Viscet backed off, sitting on his haunches and lapping away the saliva as though what had happened was nothing unusual. All Calamity could do was stare at him and shock and confusion.
Image

The alpha approached them, tail high and ears shoved forward as he glowered at the two viscets. Rough, sharp growling barks were exchanged between the two, and Calamitys attacker stood and padded away on all fours. The alpha wolf watched her before jolting his head to the right and walking away. Still confused and vuagley irritated, she followed him to a den much more capable of holding her. Without hesitation, she dashed in and curled up, satisfied by the warmth and solitude it provided. Catching the hint, the alpha left Calamity in her thoughtful silence until morning.

The weeks spent with the wolf pack could neither be summarized as good nor bad. Some situations were good and ended happily, others did not have quite the same result. Calamity often found herself wondering why she didn't just leave. No one was strong enough to stop her, and she was far faster than any of them. She decided to make it her mini mission to discover the cause behind her anchoring to the pack, and promptly set to work.
One of her favorite things to do, and one of the highest on the list of why she stayed, was the hunts. Fast paced with a sense of utter chaos, but moments of such fluid beauty that it all made sense when you stepped back, like a tapestry. The pack flowed as a mass, a giant organism of one mind and one purpose, as they pursued the elk. Due to her speed, Calamity was placed at an area she called the dragons wing, a far right location with just enough distance from the pack for an easy acceleration, but not so much that she couldn't hear commands. Adapting to the hunting orders did not take very long. Using her instincts and combining them with the wolves hunting style, she promptly understood every command and gesture given to her. Hunts now lasted mere minutes when they formerly would draw on for an hour or more. At the end, after the alpha and viscet ate, the rest of the pack ate. Calamity was given an option to eat first, but had rejected it to ensure that the rest of the pack got their share.
As for Calamity and the packs viscet, they had their ups and downs. Mostly downs. Arguments broke out constantly and stress levels rose when they tried to communicate. Failed conversations often resulted in Calamity storming off to get her bearings, or the viscet huffing and puffing as he marched away. The only time they seemed to get along was at night, when the wolves began their songs. The two would sit and watch them, unable to mimik the flowing songs of the wolves. At these times, when no words were spoken, the two were at their closest.
Calamity eventually felt one with the pack, perhaps not as much as the other Viscet was, but still one in the same. She now ate along side the other Viscet, and felt as though she were a beta for a powerful pack. Despite the ups and downs, she determined that staying put was her best option, though something deep down told her that there was a completely different reason as to why she stayed. Now, it is not uncommon for her to be awoken by nightmares of her past pack, though their faces are smeared and blurred with time. The only thing that comforts her at these times, is the heavy snoring sound of the Viscet beside her.

Complete Personality
Calamity is not your typical viscet. She is known for her patience when it comes to teaching and aiding others, and for her determination to do what is right. However, she is also known for her aggression and sharp reflexes that often weave her in and out of trouble. Calamity is often quite hard to predict, as the same sentence will gain a different reaction every time. Some call her bi-polar, and others claim that she is just weird, but none can seem to figure her out, except for Empire. Oddly enough, Empire is the only living creature in which Calamity puts her trust in without a thought of doubt. Seeing how her lack of trust toward others is quite apparent, this relationship she has between a viscet that had tried to kill her upon their first meeting is quite the unique one. Perhaps one of Calamity's most redeeming traits is her honor and honesty. She takes pride in how she is seen and portrayed and refuses to lie, cheat, steal, or harm willingly and will get offended if she is facing accusations of those actions. Overall, she can be quite the prankster. Calamity adores creating simple yet complected pranks that create the perfect amount of chaos, without tipping the scales. It is not uncommon for a wolf or Empire to yelp in surprise at an insect hidden in their bed, or to fall victim to one of her famous distraction pranks that often leads in black berry juice staining circles around the targets eyes.

Relationship with Empire
To put Calamity and Empires relationship into a simple summary would be "roller coaster." From their dramatic meeting, to the calmer and laid back moments, the two are a little more than unpredictable, which is exactly why Calamity likes him. Empire keeps her life interesting, keeps her on her toes with her ears at high alert and her eyes gleaming with excitement. On the days they are separated, some of the wolves will claim that the see a faint change in Calamity. The way she walks, talks, thinks, and even the glimmer in her eye will appear to be duller and less vibrant.
Calamity and Empires relationship grew the strongest when she decided that she could not handle his style of walking anymore and shoved him to his feet. It was sudden. Empire was gathering berries when the marched up and locked her jaws onto his horn before raising his head high enough that his fore paws flailed over the ground. Then, with a grunt, she released his horn and shoved her fore paws against his chest, forcing him up right. This was repeated several times with agitated and confused snarls and snaps coming from Empire after and during every attempt. At the tenth one, he wobbled slightly before standing on his hind legs like the viscet he was. They stood in silence for several moments until Calamity grew too happy to withhold her emotion and launched foreword, throwing the both of them into the pond. She proceed to splash him while he growled and grunted in protest, until the alpha came. Upon sighting of the black wolf, Empire slowly sank into the water as though to hide himself, his eyes pulled wide the entire time.

Here and there, kinda like a ghost now. Still debating quitting but I love my viscets too much to just leave without finding them perfect homes, so I am not sure yet. Please do not ask for one of my remaining viscets out of the blue... Those who aren't going to friends will be placed for public adoption or kept
