Welcome to the first ever Aphelios Winter Event!! Me and the staff have a lot of fun games planned out for you, it's gonna be a blast! Anyone is welcome to participate in this event, so long as you are respectful to everyone.We look forward to seeing familiar faces, as well as new ones! Who knows, maybe you'll win your first Aphelio in this event!

❄ There will be customs and MYOs given out during this event. Those rules will be in the next post.
❄ Please show respect to everyone, this species is meant to be fun!
❄ Don't steal an Aphelio that doesn't belong to you!
❄ Any Aphelios won here do count towards your limit c:
❄ You may not sell your Aphelio. If you want to gift it or readopt it, please contact me.
❄ Do not alter the design in any way without an item that allows you to do so.
Accessory add ons are always welcome, though!







Each day, there will be one new themed Aphelio up for adoption. Most of the themes will be announced on the second post. however, at least one Aphelio a week will have a mystery theme. This is to add an element of surprise to the event, and to have you guessing! These adopts will have mostly normal competitions, though I'm sure you will be pleased to see that some of them will have a winter/hliday twist to the to get everyone into the spirit of winter! nvn








Every once in a while, there will be a game stream. I will try to stream at least 2 games a week, if time allows. Since it does take time commitment to host these, I cannot do them daily, as much as I wish I could ;v; These will be announced on the thread with a enw post, and a title change for easy spotting. The first 9 people to enter will play the game (since I am using the free join me. May figure this out later on). The game board consists of two hot chocolate cups, lettered A and B, each with a number of marshmallows, all labeled by number. Players will take turns guessing a letter and number, and whatever is underneath the marshmallow will be revealed. Snowflakes are the currency that is being used for the event, you want to save those up for the end. We will open a shop that will have all kinds of goodies to purchase at the end! Also, one marshmallow per stream will have a custom or MYO ticket underneath, as even more incentive to play!
I will keep track of snowflake count in the second post.








In addition, I have planned a bunch of other games for the duration of the event. Among others, we will have "guess the number of candy" games, and scavenger hunts! Individual rules for these games will be posted once they are happening.

This is the Aphelio advent calendar shop! You may use up any tokens you have earned throughout the event to purchase awesome items for your Aphelios! Please read each item description thoroughly, so you know what each one does.

Gifting;; if you have some spare snowflakes or don't plan on spending yours, you can always gift them to other players. You may also gift any custom tickets you have earned. The form is below the shop![/color]

Make your own Ticket (MYO) Aphelio - 15 snowflakes;; This ticket grants you access to one(1) Make your own Aphelio. You must make or commission a ref of an aphelio that you designed or commissioned someone to design (excluding any Aphelio artists). The Aphelio may be whatever design you want, as long as it:
a.) Contains no copyrighted material
b.) Is a rare or under (with a max of 2 large edits, ex Hair and ears) This means no antenna edits, and no wings!! ASk me if you are unsure.
c.) Have two normal antennas and a regular or SLIGHTLY edited tail(like added fluff for example)

I will review every MYO personally to approve it. These MYOs will not be transferred to official Aphelio lines, unless you buy...


MYO Transfer Wand - 5 snowflakes;; An extension of the MYO ticket, this item allows you to have your MYO transferred to official lines. You may purchase this without having a MYO, but you may not use it unless your MYO has been made and approved by Panne.


Custom Ticket - 15 Snowflakes This ticket grants you access to one(1) custom Aphelio. You may choose an official Aphelio artist to design the Aphelio for you. You may submit a general theme/color palette for the artist to use, but the rest is up to the artist. The artist will choose the rarity and edits(if any). These will be on official Aphelio lines right away.


Shampoo and Style - 6 snowflakes;; This item allows you to add, remove, or change your Aphelios hairstyle. You may specify the type, color, length etc of the hair you want added or changed. This change must be made by an Aphelio artist of your choice. This will change your Aphelios rarity to rare if it did not previously have hair.


Fluff potion - 3 snowflakes;; This potion allows you to add/change fluffy, long hair to your Aphelio. it may my any style you want, (sharp ends, curly, etc). This change must be made by an Aphelio artist of your choice. This will change your Aphelios rarity to uncommon if it did not previously have fluff.


Colored contacts - 3 snowflakes;; This item is pretty self explanitory. It allows you to change your Aphelios eye color. You may specify any color(s), but only up to 3 colors per eye. May have heterochromia.


Galaxy Warp - 6 snowflakes;; This item allows you to change your Aphelios orb. The orb must stay a sphere, but other than that everything is up to you. This change must be made by an Aphelio artist of your choice. If your Aphelio bred and has babies, their orbs will not change.


Mutation disc - 25 snowflakes This item allows you to add a mutation to your Aphelio (multiple/single antenna, extra/removed limbs, ripped ear, etc) to an existing Aphelio, or onto a baby when it is being bred. This mutation will change your Aphelios rarity to Very Rare.


Aging potion - 9 snowflakes;; Allows you to grow your Aphelio if it is a PPS. Growths may be done by anyone, but it MUST be approved by Panne before being revealed/posted.

Reverse Aging Ray - 9 snowflakes;; This item allows you to turn your Aphelio into a PPS. This may be done if your Aphelio is an adult, or if it is still growing. These may be done by anyone, but it MUST be approved by Panne before being revealed/posted.[/olor]

Q: What are the snowflake points for?
A: At the end of the event, there will be a shop of sorts open, where you can redeem the flakes you earned through games. There will be lots of goodies for your Aphelios. Even if you don't own one, you can keep the add ons you purchase until you get one!

If I win a MYO/custom, when can I use it?
You can use both of these items once the shop opens up. There will be specific guides about what can and cannot be done, and the process of creating your adopt.

What if I don't want any of the prizes/have extra flakes left at the end?
The snowflakes probably won't e transferred over to other events, so you can either leave the rest to rot, or gift them to other players.
